2010-08-03 [windowframe]: I have to admit, I really wasn't a fan of Wuthering Heights when I read it, but then afterwards I started to wonder if this wasn't more my own fault than the book's. I think Wuthering Heights is one of those books (like Gulliver's Travels) that his been completely mis-categorise
2010-08-03 [Akayume]: I agree. The writing is oke- I mean, I've certainly read worse. But everything thinks "OMFGGG IT'S SOOO ROMANTICC" and it really isn't. I mean, to be honest, uhhh... what's his face (the main guy) is kind of a prick. >.>

2010-08-03 [Akayume]: I totally agree! I felt sorriest for the girl who marries Heathcliff and then runs away. Kathy, however, I had no sympathy for. (Thank youu! I am terrible with names. DX Horrid. I wrote an AP essay for Wuthering Heights, and I could only remember his name and Kathy's, so I had to focus on just them. XD) They's so selfish too! They say they love each other but they don't. And they're too full of themselves to ever really love someone.

Mind, I still find the whole 'unreliable narrator' question with nelly and the visitor incredibly annoying. I don't really see what that adds to the story. <_<
2010-08-03 [Akayume]: I agree! I was so confused when I started reading it.
