1. No power playing.
You have the right to dictate the actions of one character only – your own. DO NOT attempt to control any other character's actions or you will be dealt with harshly and possibly booted.
(For those of you who claim you don't know *cough* what power playing is, here is an example: Player 1's edit consists of 'Character 1 grinned darkly at character 2. Character 2 gasped in horror. "what... what d-d-do you want?" she stammered.'
Here player 1 has taken control of not only her own character, but player 2's as well. Keep your filthy mitts off other people's characters you swine! XD)
2. If you really feel the need to put an out of character comment in an edit, please put it in brackets, and stick 'OOC' at the front.
E.g.: (OOC: My character is using telepathy and reading your characters' minds, so please describe what they're thinking.) Please don't use OOC edits to chat. Do that in the comment section if you really must.
3. Please, swear in moderation.
Whilst understanding that this is an RP, and that swearing is allowed, don't overdo it. Also, this game should suitable for younger people, so graphic scenes, if you stumble into one while playing and want to go into detail, should go to hidden pages.
4. Separate your post from another player's post with newlines (enters) so that there is one empty line between the posts.
Do not use <hr>.
5. Write your posts in past tense.
Not present tense.
6. Please bear in mind that not all players are online at the same time.
It's not okay to leave someone else's character totally behind just because you and your mates are all online at the same time and the one person isn't. I'm sure you all know how annoying it is to be left behind, so have a little consideration please, it costs you nothing.
7. Is something unclear? Ask!
This goes especially when playing, but also when you're making a bio. If you don't ask and assume wrong, a whole load of gameplay might have to be undone, and that is a little frustrating.
8. In order to keep the RP from getting stalled, any lack of posting for three weeks with any given character will result in that character being immediately dropped from the RP.
If you will be unable to post for three weeks or more, LET THE GM KNOW.
If you're waiting on someone to post before you can, poke that person and let the GM know you're waiting on them, otherwise you might find both your characters getting dropped.
