X-MEN MUSIC ROOM
You first walk into the back stretch of this magnificent room and notice immediately that it has several tiers that lead down to the conductor’s podium, next to which a magnificent Fazioli grand piano sits with its lid proudly propped open. Each tier is furnished with chairs and music stands, some of which still have music of them from the last rehearsal. Along the back wall are the student lockers, which vary in size and shape to accommodate any instrument necessary aside from the standup basses, which are leaning in a stand next to them. The topmost tier holds all manner of percussion equipment (bass drum, timpani, snare, bells, vibraphone, etc) and there is a chest next to the bass that holds the auxiliary percussion trinkets. Once you are at the bottom tier, you can turn left and see a row of doors that lead to private practice rooms, each of which is equipped with a standard piano, music stand, and chair. The walls are bare except for large burgundy panels that are intended to absorb wayward sound waves from escaping, and the floors are carpeted in short, simple grey.

Nik walked into the music room with sheet music in his hand, studying the room and looking to see if there was a piano to play on. He saw the grand piano, and was instantly eager to play it. Nik walked up to it and sat down on the bench in front of it, he placed the music on the stand, which read "Can Can by Jacques Offenbach". Soon, he started playing the piece decently, as he had practiced this piece for a few years before running away.
Brunelda liked the music room. She couldn't really play an instrument, or sing, or even read music, or... anything really. She liked it because it was sound proofed, and people didn't come in often, so she had silence in every single meaning of the word. She didn't pick up people's thoughts, but she just felt a... buzz in her head when people were around. She'd seen the professor about it years ago... he'd said it was just her way of 'blocking people', though it didn't actually help at all. She just made this awkward buzzing in her own head when she knew other people were there. It wasn't nice. Sighing at her silence being broken, Brunelda opened her eyes and gazed over towards the direction of the music from her seat in the darkest section of the music room. "Nice song... what is it?" she said out loud, rubbing her eyes as she sat up a little straighter in the chair.
