X-MEN WILD THAIGER
The Wild Thaiger is the Thai restaurant that Salem Center has to offer and is one of the places in town that is well known for good food without looking like it. Outside, the parking lot has holes in it and there are a few letters missing from the sign so that it reads, 'The Wild Thaiger, est hai cuisn.' Inside, the smells of spices and cooking meats are mingled to create an overall appetizing aroma. There is a Thai woman behind the desk, on which there is another sign that asked 'Please wait to be seated.' The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant and the tables in a large circle around it with some mismatched furniture and tablecloths. Almost everyone who works there is Thai, so you can expect most of your waiters, hostesses, and cooks to have a thick accent.

Addy shifted in her seat, waiting for the food as she watched Anthony from across the table. "We could do things like this more often," she said quietly. She wasn't exactly normal enough to go out in public, but with the image inducer on her wrist, the hologram kept her hidden to the general public. And despite her lack of body consciousness while at the mansion, it was obvious by the way she half shrunk in on herself that out in public was a whole different matter.
"Sounds good."
Anthony was usually a lot more body conscious, but something about being out with Addy made him sit up straight and smile a lot more than usual. His hand reached across the table for hers, a wide smile on his bald head "Will admit, never had thai food before. Do you recommend anything?"
"Noodles?"
Addy answered, her hand going to his even without him really saying anything. Just the gesture was enough to get her attention. "I'm pretty sure you'll like whatever you wind up getting. There is a lot of options." She flipped the menu open and glanced down at it for a moment, deciding quickly what she wanted and flipping it shut again. "I don't want to overly influence your first Thai experience." That was said with a sort of smile as she looked at Anthony.
"Righto."
Anthony was reading the menu with a squint, as if it was actually in Taiwanese. He was obviously having a little difficulty actually thinking of what he wanted to eat. He squeezed Addy's hand gently without thinking, rubbing his fingers against her. At least she still felt the same. "Sticky rice seems like my kind of thing... and maybe some fish..." he paused. If he wanted to kiss Addy later he didn't want smelly breath. "Or the chicken."
"Oh, I forgot they had fish,"
Addy said, flipping her menu open again. She genuinely didn't like red meat, so seeing the fish items made her smile. "Okay, I know what I want now." She looked at Anthony again, her smile not really giving anything away as she watched him. It wasn't like she was hiding it really, mainly because he knew about her horrible eating habits. Or non-eating habits as the case might have been.
Ok, so fish might not be too bad. If Addy was having some then maybe
Anthony could as well. He nodded as she spoke, smiling to himself and running his hands over the menu as he looked through. "I like to try different things..." he admitted as he read, though his eyes darted up mischievously to twinkle at Addy "But I've honestly no idea what I'd like here..."
Addy tilted her head. "You could just get the normal pad thai. That's pretty basic." She pointed it out on his menu. "And you can choose what kind of meat you want." She was smiling at him from across the table, less hunched over now that he was helping her feel more comfortable in their surroundings. "Or pad thai curry if you're feeling up for something a little spicier." With that said, she withdrew her hand again so she could take a drink of her water, waiting for him to decide.
"I'll try the pad thai curry."
Anthony said with a little smile "I like things a little different and spicy." He kept doing those eyes at Addy, he wasn't sure if she knew what they meant, but basic animal instinct should tell her... surely. He smiled a little, drinking his own water and trying not to blush.
Addy was oblivious to the verbal flirting, but she did see his looking and she looked down at the place setting in front of her, the hologram blushing and her forgetting that it could be seen. She tried not to blink too much, because it gave away her embarrassment. "Right. Spicy." Her hand scratched unconsciously at the table as she tried to control her small embarrassed reaction.
Anthony wanted to say that he could finally see her blushing, but he was pretty sure Addy might have a little moment when she realised that he could. That and people might start to wonder what he was talking about, finally able to see it. He didn't fancy talking his way out of that. He took Addy's hand with a smile, running his thumb over it slowly.
