Pro-Choice…A Woman’s Choice

Removing the brainless, thoughtless, feelingless, emotionless, lifeless fetus or embryo
From the womb of a teenage girl,
From the womb of a single woman,
From the womb of a rape victim,
From the womb of a woman who doesn’t feel fit to be a parent.

Who are you to tell that woman no?
Who are you to tell a woman that she has no right to her body, her mind, her life?
Who are you to judge her?
To call her a murderer, heartless, ruthless, a whore, a sinner? A sinner…

And so you propose giving the child up for adoption.
You propose leaving a child in an overflowing jailhouse where there are other children
Hoping everyday that someone will come to love them,
Like puppies at the pound.

What do you expect will come of a world without abortion?
Take a moment to envision the mass over-population.
Our hospitals will be full
Of women whose backyard abortions have gone wrong.
Think of the adopted child whose only thought is that their mother never loved them.
How many girls will intentionally miscarry?
Throwing themselves down the stairs.
How many suicides will it take?
How many losses?
How many deaths?
How many?

How many…

No matter how much you preach abstinence,
No matter how many pills and condoms you hand out,
There will ALWAYS be unwanted pregnancies.
There will ALWAYS be abortion, with or without a doctor.

Cure the overflow of orphanages.
Cure the mass of unhappy orphans.
Cure the world.
A woman’s choice.
