Morgan burst into her room. Thankfully that no one was there, she walked to her guitar and yanked it off the stand angrily. Opening the window, she crawled out and sat alone on the edge. She started to play a soothing rhythm and humming to herself. It helped Morgan think.
After a while, she stopped playing and rested against the tiles of the roof. Why the hell was Joss acting like this?
Arthur came back into the room, then blushed and hid behind Locks as he spotted Morgan "H-hello..." he mumbled "We were just looking for you."
Crys blushed as they walked in the door together. Morgan had busted in earlier and saw the whole thing...
"Look.."
Arthur said desperately "I'm sorry you came in and saw..." he blushed deeply and hugged Locks tight with one arm and took Crys' hand with the other.
Morgan hit a sour note the moment she heard Arthur's voice. She stopped and turned her head a at him, scowling. Her attention went off of him and to her guitar. She was sitting on the windowsill with her feet dangling off the side of the building. A hand went up and adjusted the tuning on her guitar. The last thing she needed was company.
Crys walked in slowly, not really wanting to see Morgan right now either.
Morgan had too much on her mind at the moment. Her and Joss had just fought...badly earlier. The fact she saw Crys and Arthur wasn't even in her thinking now.
"So what the hell was so damn important you had to barge in earlier??"
Crys demanded of her, not really caring if she wanted to talk or not. The question had been weighing on her mind
Morgan was VERY testy at the moment, but kept it down for now, "Not. Now."
"Oh like earlier was such a good time???"
Crys snapped back to her
Morgan forced her anger down, "I didn't know." she came back, sternly.
"You should have knocked."
Crys told her just as stern
"Well it should have been
locked." she came back.
Morgan grit her teeth and strung a few strings, seeing that her guitar was adjusted now. She kept her back to them.
Crys growled and flopped down on her bed. She didn't care anymore.
Arthur stared hard at the back of Morgan's head, trying to work out what was wrong. He wasn't scowling... he was just staring at her. Finally he took a shot in the dark "You want me to talk to Joss?"
Morgan hit another sour note at his comment. Her head shot around and stared firmly into Arthur's eyes for a moment. She leaned her head against the side of the window lazily. "Don't bother."
"Oh let her be, Artie."
Crys said, patting the spot next to her with a grin. "She's just gonna sit there and sulk."
Arthur bit his lip, staring back at Morgan and sighing lightly when she threw his offer back in his face. He went and sat beside Crys, shuffling up against her slightly and holding her close.
"Seriously- you guys don't even know what went on. I can't believe you are so selfish as to say that."
Morgan told her.
"I-I just offered to help..."
Arthur said quietly, staring at his feet. He thought she was talking about him again.
"He's mad at me because of you."
Morgan explained. She still had no idea how the hell those two knew about her and Joss's fight. Maybe Joss was spreading rumors? "He is pissed off because we fight. That's it."
"W-why do you fight?"
Arthur asked, fiddling with his fingers out of nerves.
Crys shrugged, thinking about Arthur's question. Honestly she really didn't have an answer as to why they fought. They just sort of did.
"Does that really matter?"
Morgan asked, facing them now and hopping off of the window cile only to lean against it.
"well... if Joss doesn't like you two fighting then yes"
Arthur mumbled, stroking his arm slowly and resisting the urge to say that he didn't like it much either.
Morgan grumbled a little and crossed her arms in frustration. "It's not just my fault-" she paused.
"Your fault what?"
Arthur asked, holding onto Locks for some comfort "That he doesn't like you two yelling at each other? That you always fight? That for some reason you two can't get on?"
"Get....on?"
Morgan stared at Arthur with a raised brow and her hands on her hips, "I'm not sure what kind of card your playing here hair-boy, but it's not happening."
"I just mean, why can't you two stay in a room for five minutes without shouting at each other?"
Arthur mumbled, before looking up at Morgan "what are you talking about anyway?"
"Just forget it."
Morgan rubbed her head. "I just don't get him. I mean, who cares if we bicker a little bit? I mean jeez, it has nothing to do with him."
"It has EVERYTHING to do with him"
Arthur sighed, hugging Crys gently with one arm "I don't feel like I can be friends with Joss really, since every time we'd hang out you two would start fighting."
"Well what the hell am I supposed to do about it? It's not JUST me in the argument, is it?"
Morgan came back,
Arthur sighed and looked around at Crys, biting his lip as Locks squeezed his arm gently "Can you two not argue for us?"
Crys looked at Arthur and then her eyes glanced over at Morgan. They probably could, truthfully, but she wasn't sure. She chose to be silent though.
Arthur looked round at Morgan and sighed "If you can't altogether can you at least reduce it just a bit?"
"Don't look at me- this isn't JUST of my concern."
Morgan gestured to Crys. "But if it will make Joss happy, I suppose...."
Crys sighed and squeezed Arthur's hand. "if it'll make you stop, then I guess."
Arthur smiled weakly and kissed Crys' cheek "Thank you... both of you."
Morgan turned around and rolled her eyes. Their 'lovey dovey' crap was making her sick, especially with the nude image of both of them burned in her skull. She made a disgusted face and sat on the windowsill once more with her feet dangling off. Not caring if they were there, she started to play slow chords.
Arthur bit his lip and looked up at Morgan; he felt guilty right now and he didn't know why. Maybe he should have locked the door.
Morgan was still very pissed off about Joss and her fighting. But it seemed that now that she was alone...well..
.WAS alone, she was actually quite sad about Joss speaking to her in that manner. She wanted to go talk to him right now, but she wasn't sure if it was the best thing. Perhaps he needed time to cool off like she did?
Crys looked at Morgan and sighed. "So you and me are the reason that you're not hanging out with Joss right now?" she asked curiously
"Yes." Morgan said, still strumming away gently. She tunes one string and kept going.
Crys looked away, not really wanting Morgan to see her say it. "I'm sorry."
Morgan initially thought that Crys was being sarcastic, but she could hear the seriousness in her tone. With an exhale, she said, "I'm sorry too..."
Crys nodded, still not looking at the purple haired speeder.
What a week... Morgan thought, she saw her father, killed him, had sex with Joss and got into their first big argument.
Crys rocked back and forth on the edge of her bed. "Well I'm hungry..."
Morgan rubbed her eyes. "You don't mind if I join you, do you?"
Crys shrugged. "I don't see why not...as long as you don't eat everything."
She whipped her head around, "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO--" Morgan stopped yelling and pouted a little, "Fine."
Crys stuck out her tongue and grinned
Arthur groaned and rubbed his eyes softly "After this miricle I think I'll go heal some lepers."
Morgan disappeared. A streak of black and purple put the guitar on her stand and reappeared next to the two lovebirds. "I would love some French toast and eggs right about now." She ignored the fact that it was evening
"Well... the kitchen should have something like that" Arthur said, blinking at Morgan as she stood beside them. He couldn't get out of his head that she'd seen him and Crys...
Crys licked her lips as Morgan suggested breakfast foods. "Now that you mention it, I could go for some bacon, sausage, scrapple, and eggs too. Maybe a couple of helpings of hash browns too." To top it all off, her stomach growled loudly
"She's the one with the super fast metabolism" Arthur chuckled, pointing to Morgan as he nuzzled Crys happily.
Crys stuck out her tongue to Arthur. "So what do you want?"
Arthur stuck one of Locks' tentacles in his ear and began to whisper into the other like it was a phone. Locks pulled out the tentacle and whipped him in the stomach. Arthur groaned "Uhhh... toast?"
"Well...what the hell are we waiting for?" Morgan said, getting more antsy.
"Foot rot?" Arthur asked, standing up and cracking his back before heading towards the door.
"Let's go then." Crys said with a grin as she headed to the door. She pulled it open and decided to lead the troops
They all headed to The Main Dining Hall
Crys came in in a hurry a little while later. They had finished eating and Morgan went off with Joss while her and Arthur decided to go swimming. She locked the door and pulled her clothes off, walked over to her dresser and pulled out her tiny red bikini. She slid into it, let her long red hair down and made sure it all looked nice and then wrapped a towel around her waist. She unlocked the door and headed down to the school pools
