WELCOME FELLOW MEGA-FANS!!!
IF U WANT TO JOIN THEN ASK ME FOR THE PASSWORD AND I WILL GIVE IT TO U!!!

Megadeth was started after Dave Mustaine, Megadeth's singer/guitarist and co-founder, was kicked out of Metallica (James Hetfield kicked Dave's dog, Dave hit James, James got mad and kicked Dave out). Dave Mustaine, along with bassist David Ellefson, guitarist Chris Poland, and drummer Gar Samuelson, started what was to become one of the greatest metal bands ever. Their first album, "Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good" was released on the small Combat record label on May 5, 1985. It was not a huge hit and received no sales awards, but it began to build Megadeth's fan base.

The bands second release, "Peace Sells… But Who's Buying?" was also not a huge hit, but it was a good record and it was Megadeth first release on Capitol Records, the label which they still record for today. "Peace Sells" was released on September 19, 1986 and was followed up by the release of Megadeth's first single, "Wake Up Dead" in December of the same year. "Peace Sells… But Who's Buying?" received platinum recognition in November of 1992.

After "Peace Sells", Gar Smuelson and Chris Poland left the band and a new guitarist and drummer were added to the band. Guitarist Jeff Young and drummer Chris Behler were added to the band for Megadeth's third release, also on Capitol Records, "So Far, So Good… So What?", released January 13, 1988. This album was a major disappointment after the obvious talent shown on the previous album, although there were a few good tracks, including a cover of the Sex Pistol's "Anarchy In the UK" "So Far, So Good" never received any awards, although two single were released ("Anarchy In the UK" and "Mary Jane"). At this point, Dave Mustaine had probably begun tempering with illegal substances, which would eventually almost kill him. It 2 ½ years and yet another line-up change for Megadeth to release another album.

On September 24, 1990, Megadeth released their fourth album, "Rust In Peace." With the addition of guitar virtuoso Marty Friedman and accomplished drummer Nick Menza (son of jazz saxophonist Don Menza) earlier the same year on a cover of Alice Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy" for the Shocker soundtrack, Megadeth had found their niche. The album was fairly successful, and it went platinum 4 years after its release in December of 1994. Two tracks, "Holy Wars… the Punishment Due" and "Hanger 18", were released as singles. Megadeth released their first home video, "Rusted Pieces" in April of 1991. Dave Mustaine's drug problems had become considerably worse by this time.

Megadeth's next album, "Countdown to Extinction," was released on July 14, 1992. It was a huge success, and was certified multi-platinum in December of 1994. The released singles were "Symphony of Destruction," "Foreclosure of a Dream," and "Sweating Bullets." The home video for this album, "Exposure of a Dream," was released in November of 1992. At this point in his career, Dave Mustaine had a very serious herione problem.

A year or so before the band began work on Youthanasia, Dave had a valium overdose. By the time he reached the hospital, his heart had stopper and he was basically considered dead, but the doctors revived him. At this point Dave sought help and moved to northern Arizona to begin rehabilitation. Dave eventually lost his dependency to drugs, but only after his drug counselor had an overdose and died from it (the song "Addicted to Chaos" is about this).

The next Megadeth studio album, "Youthanasia," was Megadeth's first real instant success. Released November 1, 1994, it was certified plantinum only two months later in January of 1995. They built a brand new, state-of-the-art studio inside airplane hanger 18 at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Arizona to record it. This album was very different from the previous Megadeth albums in that the lyrics were more personal than they ever. The recording process was chronicled in a great video, Evolver, released in May of 1995. Two singles were released, "Train Of Consequences" in October of 1994, and "A Tout Le Monde" in February of 1995.

The limited edition album "Hidden Treasures," which featured Megadeth originals and covers from soundtracks and tribute albums, was released on July 18, 1995. Among the 8 tracks are a cover of Alice Coopers "No More Mr. Nice Guy," the first Megadeth release featuring the current lineup, a great version of Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" from the "Nativity in Black" album, and some great originals like Diadems, originally released for the "Demon Knight" soundtrack.

(Note: The following info on Megadeth's career is written by me)
Next Deth album was "Cryptic Writings". It was released June 17, 1997, and was certified gold about two months later in September 1997. This album was a bit different then the others in the way that it wasn't that fast and heavy, although it wasn't soft or anything like that. It just were a bit softer. Two singles were released, "Trust" in June 1997 and "Almost Honest" in September 1997. This were to be the last album that Nick Menza were to appear on. He left the band in July 1998 due to having a benign (non-cancerous) cyst removed from his knee and they then thought that it would be best if they went into a new direction (according to Dave, Nick lied about having cancer). In came Jimmy DeGrasso (Sucidal Tendencies, Alice Cooper) and did a great job. First release with the new line-up was "Risk", released in August 31. "Risk" got a very mixed -reception- . It was (just as Cryptic Writings) produced by Dann Huff. Maybe that relationship didn't go very well together 'cause although Risk was not that bad it a bit strange. Maybe it was kind of a experiment. It's was very melodic but not as fast as you wanted it to be. Fans all around the world got pissed on this album hoping that they will shape up for the next one. Two singles were released "Crush 'Em" and "Prince of Darkness". Also this year (1999) Megadeth did a live performance at Woodstock '99 and the show was great! During their US Risk tour, Marty left the band. He wanted to explore new music or something. Megadeth then lost a great guitar "magician". Replacing Marty was to be Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, Savatage). He has gotten a great reception from the fans and he really deserve that.

Their newest release "Capitol Punishment: The Megadeth Years" released October 24, 2000 is a greatest hits collection with 12 classic tracks plus two new called "Kill The King" and " Dread And The Fugitive Mind". These new songs sounds very nice indeed. It sounds well for the future. This album ends Megadeth relationship with Capitol Records, as they are changing label to Sanctuary Records for the next release.

On May 15th 2001, Megadeth released 9th studio album (HT not included) which was called "The World Needs A Hero". This was the first album with the new mega members Al and Jimmy involved. Each of them did a great job on it. The sound was heavier than Risk (not like old times though) and it got generally good reception by fans and media. Later this year a extended version of Megadeth appearance on VH-1 Behind the Music is released on DVD, which more covers Megadeth career up until now.

A remixed/remastered version of their debut album Killing is my Business.. is released on 15th February 2002. Dave himself did the work together with producer/engineer Bill Kennedy and it's released by Loud Records, and the results are great. The sound has been touched up really good. Also Dave's original sketch for the artwork is on it. Looks great! More things happend (good and bad) during 2002. First on March 19th they release through Sanctuary Records their first official live album. It's released both on cd and on DVD with the concert presented in great video and audio quality. It was called "Rude Awakening". Then came the blow! 3rd of April came a press release on megadeth.com which announced that after a serious injury Dave Mustaine departs from Megadeth and disbanding the group! His injury concerned a severe nerve damage in his left arm and hand.

After that most members went their own way. Didn't hear much from Dave at this time, until in the early 2004 where Dave came back and said that he's making a new Megadeth album! He also has plans for a solo album at some time. This was great news for all Megadeth fans of course, which has been waiting. What the lineup will be and if they will tour is not done yet (though Chris Poland has recorded some solos already). Also at this time Dave is remixing all remaining Megadeth albums (except TWNAH) make them sound how he really wanted.

As 2004 continued to go, more and more was heard from Dave via Megadeth.com and the official forum. First off, the lineup for the next Megadeth album which was as followed: Dave (of course), Chris Poland on lead guitar, Jimmie Lee Sloas on bass guitar and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. Clear studiomusicians and since Chris Poland had his new band OHM: there might not be a big chance of this lineup touring. Also news came in that Dave was remixing and remastering all Megadeth albums (except KIMB) and also releasing MD.45 (his sideproject with Lee Wing) but this time with himself on vocals.

So, 27th July 2004 was the release of the remixed and remastered versions of all studio albums (except KIMB, since it already had been re-released, also not Hidden Treasures since it was not a studio album) and also a version of Dave's sideproject MD.45 but this time with him doing the vocals. Also, every album had about 2-3 bonustracks which could be never before heard songs, or demos of known songs. These reissues got mostly great response with the sound much clearer and more powerful. But also some complain that you don't mess with perfection, but everyone has an opinion.

Now the time has come for the (what seems to be) the final Megadeth album. It was called "The System Has Failed" and the lineup was mentioned above. Dave had said in many interviews and such that this was supposed to be his solo album but that he had a contract with Sanctuary to release one more Megadeth album, so that he did. Most (maybe all) songs are songs that Dave has made over the years but haven't been used yet. For example Die Dead Enough was made to be on the Tomb Raider movie soundtrack, but in the end it wasn't (thank god!). The songs had great lyrics. Something That I'm Not was about Lars Ulrich for example. The cover was going to be painted again by the great Ed Repka, but something came went wrong so instead Dave hired Mike Learn who airbrushes MC (chopper) tanks mostly. He did a great job with it and let the fans follow the progress and somewhat influence how it was gonna turn out. Then came the word about a tour! First in 2004 a US tour and then beginning in early 2005 an European tour and later South America and back to the US. Non of the guys recording the album with Dave was chosen to tour with him but instead these guys were chosen: Glen Drover, guitar (ex King Diamond, now Eidolon), James MacDonough, bass (Iced Earth) and lasty in was drummer Shawn Drover (Eidolon). It was long known (and eagerly awaited) that former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza was going to handle the drums yet again on this tour, but due to various circumstances (Megadeth crew said that he wasn't fit to handle it, Nick seemed to have said otherwise) just a few days before the tour Shawn Drover was chosen instead. The first leg of the tour went great, with lots of people getting meet & greet passes from amongs other things, the newly started Megadeth fanclub. Also, amongst all of this, former bassist David Ellefson sued (on May 14) dave for at least $18.5 million USD because he thought he had gotten less then he deserved over the years. But that's an whole other story.

To be fucking continued....

6. Lucretia
7. Tornado Of Souls
8. Dawn Patrol

1. Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

Brother will kill brother
Spilling blood across the land
Killing for religion
Something I don't understand

Fools like me, who cross the sea
And come to foreign lands
Ask the sheep, for their beliefs
Do you kill on God's command?

A country that's divided
Surely will not stand
My past erased, no more disgrace
No foolish naive stand

The end is near, it's crystal clear
Part of the master plan
Don't look now to Israel
It might be in your homelands

Holy wars

Upon my podium, as the
Know it all scholar
Down in my seat of judgement
Gavel's bang, uphold the law
Up on my soapbox, a leader
Out to change the world
Down in my pulpit as the holier
Than-thou-could-be-messenger of God

Wage the war on organized crime
Sneak attacks, repel down the rocks
Behind the lines
Some people risk to employ me
Some people live to destroy me
Either way they die.

They killed my wife, and my baby
With hopes to enslave me
First mistake...last mistake!
Paid by the alliance, to slay all the giants
Next mistake...no more mistakes!

Fill the cracks in, with judicial granite
Because I don't say it, don't mean I ain't
Thinkin'it
Next thing you know, they'll take my thoughts away
I know what I said, now I must scream of the overdose
And the lack of mercy killings.

2. Hangar 18

Welcome to our fortress tall
Take some time to show you around
Impossible to break these walls
For you see the steel is much too strong
Computer banks to rule the world
Instruments to sight the stars

Possibly I've seen too much
Hangar 18 I know too much.

Foreign life forms inventory
Suspended State of cryogenics
Selective amnesia's the story
Believed foretold but who'd suspect
The military intelligence
Two words combined that can't make sense

Possibly I've seen too much
Hangar 18 I know too much.

3. Take No Prisoners

Got on chance, infiltrate them
Get it right, terminate them
The Panzers will, permeate them
Break their pride, denigrate them
And their people, retrograde them
Typhus, detriate them
Epidemic, devastate them
Take no prisoners, cremate them

Going to war, give 'em hell
D-Day, next stop Normandie
Beginning of the end
WE know how to and sure as shit we'll win
War is peace sure man
A retreat for the damned
A playground for the demented
A haven for those who walk this world
Bereft of heart and soul
Love and war they say all is fair
Take his life
But won't take his hair
Your body has parts your
Country can spare
By the way son here's
Your wheelchair

He once had to be all he could be
Now he's nothing for no one nowhere to see
Funny thing, he's like you & me
It's a funny thing, a funny thing
Tears streak his solemn stare
Abandoned for wreckage nobody cares
No one knew what would happen there
No one spoke no one even dared
Don't ask what you can do for you country
Ask what your country can do for you
Take no prisoners, take no shit

4. Five Magics

Bestow upon me knowledge
Wizard - all knowing all wise
I want to rule this kingdom
Make sweet the breeze now defiled
Dethrone the evil prince's iron fist
In velvet gloves of sin
Parade the grey robed monks
The vestal virgins, wheel the wyvern's in
Let the ceremony
consecrate the marriage
Let me be the protege
Of five magics
Give me alchemy
Wizardry
Sorcery
Thermatology
Electricity
Magic if you please
Master all of these
Bring him to his knees
I master five magics

Possessed with hellish torment
I master magic "5"
Hunting the abyss lord
Only one will stay alive
He who lives by the sword
Will surely also die
He who lives in sin
Will surely live the lie

5. Poison Was The Cure

I miss the warm embrace I felt
First time you touched me
Secure and safe in open arms
I should have known you'd crush me
A snake you were when we met
I loved you anyway
Pulling out your poisoned fangs
The venom never goes away
Serpent swims free in my blood
Dragons sleeping in my veins
Jackyl speaking with tongue
Roach egg laying in my brain
Once stalked beneath your shadow
Sleepwalking to the gallows
I'm the sun that beats your brow in
Til I finally threw the towel in
Never knowing if I'd wake up in a
Whirlpool got redundant
My brain was just some driftwood
In a cesspool I became dead
From a rock star to a desk fool
Was my destiny someone said
Loves a tidepool
Taste the waters life's abundant
Taste me

6. Lucretia

Sitting up late at night
A tiptoe through the darkness
Cold as hell black as spades
Aware of my immediate surrounding
In my place I escape
Up into my hideout
Hiding from everyone
My friends all say
Dave your mental anyway hey!
Drift into a deeper state
I stalk a cobwebbed stairways
Dirt grits beneath me feet
The stair creaks, I precariously sneak

Hypnosis guides my hand
I slipside through the walkways
Sit in granny's rockin' chair
Memories are whirling by yeah
Reminisce in the attic
Lucretia waits impatiently
Cobwebs make me squint
The cobra so eloquently glints
Moonbeams surge through the sky
The crystal ball's energized
Surely that like the cat waiting
Lucretia rocks away

7. Tornado Of Souls

This morning I made the call
The one that ends it all
Hanging up, I wanted to cry
Bu dammit, this well's gone dry
Not for the money, not for the fame
Not for the power, just no more games
But now I'm safe in the eye of the tornado
I can't replace the lies, that let a 1000 days go
No more living trapped inside
In her way I'll surely die
In the eye of the tornado, blow me away

You'll grow to loathe my name
You'll hate me just the same
You won't need your breath
And soon you'll meet your death
Not from the years, not from the use
Not from the tears, just self abuse

Who's to say what's for me to say...be...do
Cause a big nothing it'll be for me
The land of opportunity
The golden chance for me
My future looks so bright
Now I think I've seen the light

Can't say what's on my mind
Can't do what I really feel
In this bed I made for me
Is where I sleep, I really feel
I warn you of the fate
Proven true to late
Your tongue twist perverse
Come drink now of this curse
And now I fill your brain
I spin you round again
My poison fills your head
As I tuck you into bed
You feel my fingertips
You won't forget my lips
You'll feel my cold breath
It's the kiss of death

8. Dawn Patrol

Thermal count is rising
In perpetual writhing
The primordial ooze
And the sanity they lose

Awakened in the morning
To more air pollution warnings
Still we sleepwalk off to work
While our nervous systems jerk

Pretending not to notice
How history had forebode us
With the green house in effect
Our environment was wrecked

Now I can only laugh
As I read our epitaph
We end our lives as moles
In the dark of dawn patrol

9. Rust In Peace...Polaris

Tremble you weakings, cower in fear
I am your ruler, land, sea and air
Immense in my girth, erect I stand tall
I am nuclear murderer I am Polaris
Ready to pounce at the touch of a button
My systems locked in on military gluttons
I rule on land, air and sea
Pass judgement on humanity
Winds blow from the bowels of hell
Will we give warnings, only time will tell
Satan rears his ugly head, to spit into the wind
I spread disease like a dog
Discharge my payload a mile high
Rotten egg air of death wrestles your nostrils
Launch the Polaris, the end doesn't scare us
When will this cease
THe warheads will all rust in peace
Bomb shelters filled to the brim
Survival such a silly whim
World leaders sell missiles cheap
Your stomach turns, your flesh creeps

High priests of holocaust, fire from the sea
Nuclear winter spreading disease
The day of final conflict
All pay the price
The third world war
Rapes peace, takes life
Back to the start, talk of the part
When the Earth was cold as ice
Total dismay as the sun passed away
And the days where black as night

Eradication of Earth's
Population loves Polaris

Countdown To Extinction (1992)

1. Skin O'my Teeth
2. Symphony Of Destruction
3. Architecture Of Aggression
4. Foreclosure Of A Dream
5. Sweating Bullets
6. This Was My Life
7. Countdown To Extinction
8. High Speed Dirt
9. Psychotron
10. Captive Honour
11. Ashes In Your Mouth

1. Skin O'my Teeth

[Mustaine]

I had wrists donning slits
Flowing constantly
My broken body in a wreck
Wrapped around a tree
A crosswalk hit and run
The finish line for me
People clutter in the gutter
Take a look and see

[chorus:]
No escaping pain
You belong to me
Clinging on to life
By the skin o'my teeth

My blood flows through the streets
Deluge from the wounds
Empty jars of sleeping pills
On the dresser in my room
My wet brain neighbor cranes
His neck to see in time
The white lights a train
Bearing down on me

[chorus]
[Solo - Marty]

I won't feel the hurt
I'm not trash any longer
That that doesn't kill me
Only makes me stronger
I need a ride to the morgue
That's what 911 is for
So, tag my toe and don't forget
Ooh to close the drawer

[chorus]

2. Symphony Of Destruction

[Mustaine]

You take a mortal man,
And put him in control
Watch him become a god
Watch peoples heads a'roll
A'roll...

[chorus:]
Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes
Swaying to the Symphony ...
Of Destruction

Acting like a robot
Its metal brain corrodes
You try to take its pulse
Before the head explodes
Explodes...

[chorus]
[Solo - Marty]

The earth starts to rumble
World powers fall
A'warring for the heavens
A peaceful man stands tall
Tall...

[chorus]

3. Architecture Of Aggression

[Mustaine-Ellefson]

Born from the dark,
In the black cloak of night.
To envelop its prey below,
Deliver to the light.
To eliminate your enemy,
Hit them in their sleep,
And when all is won and lost,
The spoils of wars are yours to keep.

[chorus]
Great nations built from the bones of the dead
With mud and straw, blood and sweat,
You know your worth when your enemies
Praise your architecture of aggression

[Solo : Marty]

Ensuing power vacuum
A toppled leader dies
His body fuels the power fire
And the flames rise to the sky
One side of his face a kiss
The other genocide
Time to pay with your ass
A worldwide suicide

[chorus]
[Solo : Marty]

Born from the dark
In the black cloak of night
To envelop its prey below
Deliver to the light
To eliminate your enemy
Hit them in their sleep
And when all is won and lost
The spoils of war are yours to keep

[chorus]

4. Foreclosure Of A Dream

[Mustaine - Ellefson]

Rise so high, yet so far to fall
A plan of dignity and balance for all
Political breakthrough, euphoria's high
More borrowed money, more borrowed time
Backed in a corner, caught up in the race
Means to an end ended in disgrace
Perspective is lost in the spirit of the chase

[chorus]
Foreclosure of a dream
Those visions never seen
Until all is lost
Personal holocaust
Foreclosure of a dream

Barren land that once filled a need
Are worthless now, dead without a dead
Slipping away from an iron grip
Nature's scales are forced to tip
The heartland cries, loss of all pride
To leave ain't believing, so try and be tried
Insufficient funds, insanity and suicide

[chorus]
[Solo : Dave]

Now with new hope some will be proud
This is no hoax, no one pushed out
Receive a reprieve and be a pioneer
Break new ground of a new frontier
New ideas will surely get by
No deed, or dividend. Some may ask "Why?"
You'll find the solution, the answers in the sky

[Solo : Marty]

Rise so high, yet so far to fall
A plan of dignity and balance for all
Political breakthrough, euphoria's high
More borrowed money, more borrowed

[chorus]

Holocaust

5. Sweating Bullets

[Mustaine]

Hello me ... Meet the real me
And my misfits way of life
A dark black past is my
Most valued possessions
Hindsight is always 20-20
But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy
Speak of mutually assured destruction?
Nice story ... Tell it to Reader's Digest !!!

Feeling paranoid
True enemy or false friend?
Anxiety's attacking me, and
My air is getting thin
I'm in trouble for the things
I haven't got to yet
I'm chomping at the bit and my
Palms are getting wet, sweating bullets

[Solo : Dave]

Hello me ... It's me again
You can subdue, but never tame me
It gives me a migraine headache
Thinking down to your level
Yea, just keep on thinking it's my fault
And stay an inch or two outta kicking distance
Mankind has got to know
His limitations

Feeling claustrophobic
Like the walls are closing in
Blood stains on my hands and
I don't know where I've been
I'm in trouble for the things
I haven't got to yet
I'm chomping at the bit and my
Palms are getting wet, sweating bullets

Well, me ... It's nice talking to myself
A credit to dementia
Some day you too will know my pain
And smile its blacktooth grin
If the war inside my head
Won't take a day off I'll be dead
My icy fingers claw your back
Here I come again

Feeling paranoid
True enemy or false friend?
Anxiety's attacking me, and
And my air is getting thin
Feeling claustrophobic
Like the walls are closing in
Blood stains on my hands and
I don't know where I've been
Once you committed me
Now you've acquited me
Claiming validity
For your stupidity
I'm chomping at the bit
I'm sharpening the axe
Here I come again, whoa!
Sweating bullets

6. This Was My Life

[Mustaine]

It was just another day
It was just another fight
It was words strung into sentences
It was doomed to not be right

There is something wrong with me
There is something wrong with you
There is nothing left of us
There is one thing I can do

Lying on your bed
Examining my head
This is the part of me that hates
Payback are a bitch
I throw the switch
Someone an electric chair awaits
Hey ! This was my life
Hey ! This was my fate

This was the wrong thing to do
This was the wrong one to be doing
This was the road to destiny
This was the road to my ruin

Now there's motives for the suspect
Now there's nothing left to say
Now there's method to the madness
Now there's society to pay

[chorus]

In our life there's if
In our beliefs there's lie
In our business there's sin
In our bodies there's die

[Solo : Dave]

This was my life
This was my fate

7. Countdown To Extinction

[Mustaine - Ellefson - Menza - Friedman]

Endangered species, caged in fright
Shot in cold blood, no chance to fight
The stage in set, now pay the price
An ego boost don't think twice
Technology, the battle's unfair
You pull the hammer without a care
Squeeze the trigger that makes you Man
Pseudo-start, the hunt is canned ...
The hunt is canned

All are gone, all but one
No contest, nowhere to run
No more left, only one
This is it, this is the Countdown to Extinction

Tell the truth, you wouldn't dare
The skin and thophy, oh so rare
Silence speaks louder than words
Ignore the guilt, and take your turn
Liars anagram is "liars"
Man you were never even there
Killed a few feet from the cages
Point blank, you're so courageous ...
So courageous

[chorus]

One hour from now
Another species of life form
Will disappear off the face of the planet
Forever ... and the rate is accelerating

8. High Speed Dirt

[Mustaine - Ellefson]

Do it if you dare
Leaping from the sky
Hurling thru the air
Exhilarating high
See the earth below
Soon to make a crater
Blue sky, black death

Energy of the Gods, adrenalin surge
Won't stop til I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure
Up here in the air, this will never hurt
I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt

Paralyzed with fear
Feel velocity gain
Entering a near
Catatonic state
Pressure of the sound
Roaring thru my head
Crash into the ground
Damned if I'll be dead

[chorus]

Jump or Die !

[Solo : Dave, Marty]

Dropping all my weight
Going down full throttle
The pale horse awaits
Like a genie in a bottle
Fire in my veins
Faster as I go
I forgot my name
I'm a dirt torpedo

[Solo : Marty]

High Speed Dirt ...

[Solo : Dave]

9. Psychotron

[Mustaine]

Assassin in stealth
Assailant from Hell
Imprevious to damage
Computer on-board
Engaged in a war
Non-stop combatant
Maybe not a mutant, maybe a man

Part bionic
And organic
Not a cyborg
Call him Psychotron

Burning inside
Godspeed in glide
Battle plan running
A killing machine
Just downright mean
And forever gunning
Maybe not a mutant, maybe a man

[chorus]

Target to destroy
Arms in employ
Full assault fire threat
Sensors indicate
You will terminate
Life systems disconnect

[chorus]

Psychotron

10. Captive Honour

[Mustaine - Ellefson - Menza - Friedman]

Madness comes, and madness goes
An insane place, with insane moves
Battles without, for battles within
Where evil lives and evil rules
Breaking them up, just breaking them in
Quickest way out, quckest relief wins
Never disclose, never betray
Cease to speak or cease to breathe
And when you kill a man, you're a murderer
Kill many, and you're a conqueror
Kill them all ... Ooh ... Oh you're a God!

Ladies and Gontlemen of the jury
Have you reached a verdict ?

Yes, we have Your Honour, we find the defendant Guilty!
On all counts for crimes against all humanity

By virtue of the jury's decision and the power
Vested in me by the state I hereby sentence you to be
Incarcerated with no possibility of parole for life

Life? ... Whadda ya mean life? ... I ain't got a life

Boy! ... Your soul better belong to Jesus! ...
Hmmm-mmm cause your ass belongs to me!

Captive honour, ain't no honour

No time for questions
No time for the games
Start kicking ass
And taking down the names
A long shit list
A shorter fuse
He is untouchable
And guarantees you'll lose

Captive honour, ain't no honour

[Solo : Dave]

Inside the bighouse
His nightmare unfolds
Before he got there
His manpussy was sold
Black, blanket welcome
This tought guy's now a bitch
Praying for death
It can't be worse than this

Captive honour, ain't no honour

[Solo : Dave, Marty]

11. Ashes In Your Mouth

[Mustaine - Ellefson - Menza - Friedman]

People have round shoulders from fairing heavy loads
And the soldiers liberate them, laying mines along their roads
Sorrow paid for valor is too much to recall
Of the countless corpses piled up along the wailing wall

Melting down all metals, tturning plows and sheats to swords
Shun words of the Bible, we need implements of war
Chalklines and red puddles of those who have been slain
Destiny, that crooked schemer, says the dead shall rise again

Where do we go from here?
And should we really care
The end is finally here
God have mercy!

Now we've rewtitten history
The one thing we've found out
Sweet taste of vindication
It turns to ashes in your mouth

[chorus]

If you're fighting to live
It's OK to die !
The answer to your question is ...
Welcome to tomorrow !

[Solo : Marty, Marty, Dave]

Where do we go from here?
God have mercy!

[chorus]

1. Trust

Lost in a dream
Nothing is what it seems
Searching my head
For the words that you said

Tears filled my eyes
As we said our last goodbyes
This sad scene replays
Of you walking away

My body aches from mistakes
Betrayed by lust
We lied to each other so much
That in nothing we trust

Time and again,
She repeats let's be friends
I smile and say yes
Another truth bends,
I must confess

I try to let go, but I know
We'll never end 'til we're dust
We lied to each other again
But I wish I could trust

My body aches from mistakes
Betrayed by lust
We lied to each other so much
That in nothing we trust

God help me please, on my knees
Betrayed by lust
We lied to each other so much
That in nothing we trust

How could this be happening to me
I'm lying when I say "Trust me"
I can't believe this is true
Trust hurts
Why does trust equal suffering

Absolutely nothing we trust

6. In My Darkest Hour

[Music by D.Mustaine, lyrics by D.Mustaine/D.Ellefson]

In my hour of need
Ha you're not there
And though I reached out for you
Wouldn't lend a hand

Through the darkest hour
Grace did not shine on me
It feels so cold, very cold
No one cares for me

Did you ever think I get lonely
Did you ever think that I needed love
Did you ever think to stop thinking
You're the only one that I'm thinking of

You'll never know how hard I tried
To find my space and satisfy you too

Things will be better when I'm dead and gone
Don't try to understand, knowing you I'm probably wrong

But oh how I lived my life for you
Still you'd turn away
Now as I die for you
My flesh still crawls as I breathe your name
All these years I thought I was wrong
Now I know it was you
Raise your head raise your face your eyes
Tell me who you think you are, who ?

I walk, I walk alone
Into the promised land
There's a better place for me
But it's far, far away
Everlasting life for me
In a perfect world
But I gotta die first
Please God send me on my way

Time has a way of taking time
Loneliness is not only felt by fools
Alone I call to ease the pain
Yearning to be held by you, alone, so alone, I'm lost
Consumed by the pain
The pain, the pain, the pain

Won't you hold me again
You just laughed, ha, ha, bitch
My whole life is work built on the past
But the time has come when all things shall pass
This good thing passed away

In my darkest hour

2005-05-16 [Lia Majere]: Metallica is a bunch of jerks

2005-05-16 [Flamable_Sperm]: hell yea! they used to be good at somtin in the 80's now they suck ass

2005-05-16 [Flamable_Sperm]: even tho the best thing they did was kick dave out cause if they didnt then there wouldn't be a Megadeth

2005-05-18 [Lia Majere]: Yeah...It would suck if they hadn't kicked Dave out!

2005-05-18 [For Whose Advantage?]: Yeah, that's true. We wouldn't have Killing Is My Busisness or Peace Sells.. etc if they hadn't

2005-05-18 [For Whose Advantage?]: Speaking of Peace Sells, I really think Dave should've just remastered it instead of re-mixing it too, because he toned the bass down from the original mix, and now the remaster doesn't really sound right...or maybe I'm just too much of a purist

2005-05-25 [For Whose Advantage?]: What do you guys think?

2005-07-20 [Flamable_Sperm]: i havent heard the remixed version yet... di u guys hear any thing about them quitting after this year? I did.... :(
