2008-09-24 [Lothuriel]: WOW! These are awesome! I caught them in my home town last month! I had been waiting nearly 20 years to see them in concert!

wow...that is very telling of my age, no?<img:stuff/mood1-gif.gif>

2008-09-24 [james2777]: shhhhhhhhh i wont tel anyone :)  and if you want a pic feel free to print one out.. I know jenna the tour manager so i was able to get about 200 pixs of the show just so many i could put up as you can see from the ticket it was a comp and i was also at the meet and greet with brett... will see him again in feb here in new york having something to do with the vh1 show....

ha your age naa but then again if your talking 20 years ago then you are referring to the telsa/poisen show that was in your area then and not the first shows or poison opening up for RATT on the dance dance dance tour... i know blagh i know all of this on them pretty bad

2008-09-24 [Lothuriel]: LOL...I missed out on the Poison/Tesla show, my sister went but my mother claimed I was too young. The show that I saw was in Pikeville, KY last month.

2008-09-24 [Lothuriel]: Oh, and thanks by the way!

2008-09-24 [james2777]: i holf bach opened up the show b/c when I saw then the last time he sounded great  and really blew away dokken.... well maybe next year you can see them again it is always an upbeat and good solid show just need`s better opening bands... cinderalla in 2006 was horrible 2 years ago and ratt opened in 2007 with white lion was alright but could be better... who i want is warrent but this is new york so you never know... next for me ac/dc :D

2008-09-24 [Lothuriel]: I was impressed with Bach as well. From what I'd seen of him in the last few years, I honestly expected him to blow. It was a nice surprise. A very nostalgic concert for me, I guess you could say.

LOL...oh my goodness! I used to be enamored by Warrent! Again, showing my age. My next concert is Hinder, somebody I am not that familiar with and can't think of their name right off hand, and Three Doors Down (which I adore).

2008-09-24 [james2777]: I`m not a hard rock person anymore other then matallica *dec 16th @ madisen square garden* I dont do the hevey rock to many idiots there. Being in New York thue the years I have Seen everyone there is to see. except Rush unfortunally I missed them this past year when I had the chance But did go to the Police which I had never seen. I don`t care what anyone says the 80ies hair bands are still the best music out there what I grew up on... Thank god I dident grow up with disco

2008-09-24 [Lothuriel]: Amen to that! I got enough disco and roller-derby from my parents! *shivers* I grew up on Poison, Metallica, Skid Row and we can't forget Bon Jovi and Motley Crue, lol! Have you seen All Things 80's? Don't mean to spam but, you seem like someone who appreciates the era!

2008-09-24 [james2777]: i live in new york we get 5 bon jovi shows a year so they are always around one of the first shows i was at was bon jovi 78`000 degree`s show they opened for ratt fir their invasion tour... was hooked ever since ... motly crue have seen 4 times oance with ozzy many years ago and with warrent and with aerosmith and also the circus tour in phoenix .. you know what lion then i guess and also whitesnake who has fallen off the face of the earth for some reason

2008-09-24 [james2777]: got i forgot twisted sister i don`t for the life of me know why I forgot them as Dee Snider has a condo in the complex that we live in as does mick foley the wrestler has a condo here and a house in smithtown... just weird I would forget about Dee.hummm

2008-09-25 [Lothuriel]: LOL..that's ok. I have a distant cousin that's kind of famous and to me, he just seems like the same dork he was before he became famous....so I kinda know what you mean.

I haven't been to very many concerts really. I have been to Sawyer Brown, Exile, Hank Williams Jr, Steve Earl, Tanya Tucker, Megadeth, Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots (teh suck), Winger, Extreme, Poison, Shine Down, Skid Row (twice once with Sebastian Bach and once with umm...the x-drummer of Armored Saint), Ted Nuget, Kiss....and that's pretty much it other than local shows. My concert list is pretty lame.

2008-09-25 [james2777]: ah its ok not everyone can always go to shows... but hay you saw kiss let me guess it was the skid row/ted nugent/kiss show :) i was there in memphis actually a big kiss fan have seen them about 10 times.have seen Billy Joal and billy Joal w/Elton john... Triaumph, ac/dc about 10 times, def leapard w/ queensriake * how ever you spell it * journey not with steve perry... rolling stones... aerosmith.. guns and roses... ozzy many times... peter frampton ... rick springfield * don`t laugh he was very god* .. thw who.. styx... just say dennise deyoung at bb kings in new york.. monsters of rock show w/ kindom come, matallica, dokken, scorpions and van halen....  aerosmith several times including the festivial with guns and roses-deep purple and aerosmith... whitesnake ... go`s on and on i could buy a house with money i have spent on this

2008-09-25 [Lothuriel]: Yeppers, Kiss, Skid Row and Ted Nugent in Louisville. I think it was in either 1999 or 2000. I honestly can't remember. I <3 Rick Springfield, lol!!

Wow, you have been to a lot of concerts! I live in hicksville and up until late 2006, I always had to travel 2 to 4 hours to see a good show. Now that we have the Expo Center here in my home town now, I am hoping to get the chance to see some good ones. I have 3 kids now so, going to concerts is tough. I don't really want to take them with me, they aren't quite old enough yet and finding a sitter is sometimes difficult.

You mentioned Springfield, I would give nearly anything to see Duran Duran!!

2008-09-25 [james2777]: i saw duran duran 1 time at joans beach years ago umm hell the guy that died that sang addicted to love opened up.. thats just a short list of shows... triumph is important next year .. i did my big shows for this year just say celine deion just to see the show hell she did vages for years so had to be worth it, was good but more like a michial jackson show to much going on... cindy lauper opened for tina turner and that was a great show and steie nicks opened for tina turna another great show.. well you take one and switch them out i guess so they remember... i took tiffany to see balck sabbath she was 8 and people were telling her she would remember this forever... she hated the show ah but took her to the peabody hotel and she met angus young and say ac/dc and she loved it so ya never know : /

2008-09-25 [Lothuriel]: Well, my 11 year old might enjoy it somewhat but my 4 and 6 year olds are way too young for a rock concert in my opinion. I know what sort of thing goes on at them and well, I am not quite ready to start worrying about those things vs my kids yet, ya know?

Not to mention that in this town, when a big band comes to town people go nuts...like they've never seen an outsider before, lol!! The first thing everyone wants to do is get stoned or drunk and get into fights. It's like giving pills and alcohol to a bunch of 12 year olds, lol!

2008-09-25 [james2777]: that was how it was with pink floyd many years ago drugs everywhere uggh i did very few drugs as a teenager but beer with a drop of acid in it uggh maybe its a good thig thou as i dident really do ANYMORE drugs after that... pink floyd came to the nassau colisaum for 5 shows and we were on the upper level in the first row decet seats but it was a good show... if you have ever been to see pink floyd it`s a huge production and has an intramission to it well nothing bothered me untill the lights went down again and they played "One of these days" from the animials album and they had a huge flying pig and i guess i was " tripping" as they put it and it was getting closer and closer comming right at me and all of a sudded it`s eyes had lazers and it stops 20 feet from us and says " One of these days i`m going to get ys" the only words in the whole song and his mouth moved and i burst into tears ... it was a strange night but i learned QUICKLY not to do anything more

2008-10-08 [Giving_up_hope]: i love them i wanted to see them so bad u r lucky!

2008-10-26 [xX-SG-Xx]: I like Bret Michaels. Ive met him b4, but I had no idea who he was at the time. lol. My papa kept freaking out, like, he said, "Thats BRET MICHAELS!! HAVENT U HEARD OF POISON?! COME ON!" I thought it was pretty funny...xD

2008-10-26 [james2777]: I know him and Jenna his tour manager so it works out nicely :D

2008-10-26 [xX-SG-Xx]: Sweetness
