The God and Goddess
Windfire smiled ad embraced Nightshade. He did the same. They were free to love in the marvelous place where they had wound up. The horned god and goddess stepped from their thrones and revoked their crowns to the lovers. They understood every single dream at that point.
They were seeing a happy future because they had made a happy future. They were no longer mortals able to guide their siblings and cousins, but they were together again in the afterlife. They were soul mates who were not the king and queen of the magic users.
The bitter souls of Crystalwind and Lucithet also appeared on this plane. With all of their vengeance, they cursed their children. All of their hatred which should have been love had made the world of beauty darken.
Windfire and Nightshade watched helplessly as their parents killed them again in death. The power hungry witch and warlock made their way to the thrones. As the pair sat, the afterlife split into the realm of the goddess and the realm of the god.
Windfire and Nightshade were holding hands, despite having been helpless against their relentless parents. The held hands as they walked back onto earth, ready to be reincarnated and to let their love live on.
