What was left of the Northern Gate laid strewn across the expanse to the guard tower. The men stationed there never knew what hit them. The tower was thrown over on its side, several body parts stuck out from underneath its rubble. The entrance to the 'secret' chamber beneath the tower was torn asunder. The little room appeared as though a bomb had exploded within it. Standing amidst the ruin was a man, his face shielded by a wide, round-brimmed wooden reed hat(think rice farmer). His tunic was torn in several places, and there was multiple blood stains along his arms.

Kano came to a stop and couldn't help but gasp as his eyes took in the devastation. They had just been here only a short while ago...all those guards dead, by this man's hand. He squeezed her hand tightly and clenched his other into a fist.

Oita stared on passively, seeing the blood and murder and not showing a flicker of emotion. He told the men to get out of there, the moment an attack happened to start people leaving. Maybe one or two had done so, but the others should have listened. He was standing a bit behind Kano, wondering if this was the head of the attacking force.

Hinji showed up a moment later, looking over the scene quickly. He wasn't sure about this man's powers or strength, so he had to wait before acting.

Next to Kano, Kami was the only one of them who hadn't used any chakra at all while they had been here. She was worried, but confident that between the four of them, they could handle this man... well, perhaps confident was too strong of a word.

The man known as Seyonne turned slowly to face the little ninjas who came to the aid of the fallen villagers. A growl issued forth from his throat and glared at the genin. "Where is it?" He demanded of them coldly. He had had enough of their endless meddling. He was told this was to be a simple assignment. This Island had no defenses of it's own. But sure enough, here was a horrible amount of annoying little ninja who insisted on getting in his way. He held up one finger, "One chance kiddies. Tell me where you've taken it, and I'll let you live."

"Leave now and we won't be forced to kill you." Kami said, having formerly intended to let someone else do all the talking. There was something about him calling them kiddies that she did not like at all.

"Well look who decided to finally show up!" came a loud and rather overbearing voice from the top of a small hut. Tsu grinned widely at Seyonne, wiping her nose and sniffing as she gazed at the man "Ready for round two big boy? Cause, as you can see, I'm in top condition. Or maybe this time I'll just let the kids take you down, hmmm? You are about their level after all."

"So they used it on you?" Seyonne couldn't help but grin. "Wonderful, so it really does work as the stories tell then." He glanced at Kami and shook his head. "Your little sensei there couldn't kill me, what makes you think you'd be able to?" He flexed his arms and the muscles expanded dramatically along them. "I will not hesitate to kill children, if you intend to hide behind that."

"oh please, you got in one lucky hit and distracted me with an overgrown chicken. This time I'll just break your arms," Tsu said with a dismissive wave "Actually they barely used it on me. A couple of bruises, that's it. I didn't even have to go all out. And I hope you realize, these kids won't hesitate to kill you either."

"You won't have it." Kano promised the man, stepping forward so that he was in front of Kami. "Even if you get passed us. You will never have the Heart of Ice." He made quick handsigns and his hands light up with flame. "There is one greater than us who is watching after that stone."

"Besides, she is not my sensei." Kami told him. "My sensei is The Eighth Legendary Swordsman. You should be glad that it is not him you are facing."

Oita huffed softly, placing his back pack on the floor and carefully pulling a roll of paper from it. He just wanted this over and done with. He was tired of all this talking.

"Basically... Seyonne, darling, you're going to die." Tsu said softly, frowning at the man and shaking her head "You should have quit while you still had a chance to get out of here."

Seyonne grinned wickedly and formed a summoning circle before him. "You have chosen poorly, children. This field shall be forever stained by your blood. Summoning Jutsu - Tezcatlipoca Arise!" The earth trembled as from the summoning circle came forth a creature of immense stature. Large black claws pulled the creature through the circle and an immense feline head ducked through the arch of the top as it climbed through. With a tremendous roar, the summoned creature proclaimed its presence. Great bricks of gold hung from its ears, a large green tunic clung to its waist. Its elbows, tail, and head were adorn with large feathers.

Summoning, this was going to be interesting. Hinji grabbed a card and flicked it to the ground. Where the card hit, a traditionally armored samurai stepped out of the resulting cloud. He pulled out two katanas and fell into a combat ready stance.

Well... there was no time like the present. Kami preformed three hand signs and thunder crackled overhead as clouds began to materialize out of nothing.

Tezcatlipoca turned to Seyonne and huffed a great puff of air from his nose. "You summoned me to fight children?" He clenched his great black claws into a fist and growled through his gritted teeth. When the thunder crackled overhead, the fur on the great beastman's body started to raise. He drifted a cold golden eye towards the children. His predator's gaze slowed and settled onto Kami as he traced the chakra of the coming storm to her. "Maybe they won't all be such easy kills."

A very silent voice whispered right beside Kami's ear, so quietly that she could just about hear the words. "Will you do me a favour? keep them still, but make sure they keep looking up." Since Oita's lips hadn't moved it was difficult to tell he'd just spoken, but perhaps the chakra strings dangling from his fingers were a good indication he was doing something. Strange thing was, he didn't seem to attach them to anything. The strings just dangled there.

There was a strange sound as though the air was sucked away from the space around Tsu, as back at the other gate Vik'tor released the seals. Screams of pain echoed through the entire encampment as every victim of the beastman's bite awakened.

Seyonne crossed his arms and grinned as he felt the seals awaken. He looked right at Tsu and laughed. "So much for you killing me, little girl."

Hinji heard the screams, but remained unphased in appearance. However, inside his mind he was wondering what in the world was going on.

"I don;t think it's going to matter much..." Kami whispered back to Oita as they began to hear the screams.

Kano's skin bristled when the sounds of the screams filled the air. That didn't sound good at all...He didn't like the look of this summoned creature either, but the screams....the screams unnerved him more.

Tezcatlipoca grinned savagely and looked at his summoner. "Still using that jutsu eh?" He shook his massive head and chuckled, an odd sound indeed to come from a creature such as he.

Tsu had opened her mouth to bring back a terrible retort, but as she was about to oita cut in quickly with "don't even bother replying. They need you out there. We can cover this here. Go!" Then he seemed to bring his attention back to Tezcatlipoca "Tell me. How does it feel to know you're doing the bidding of such a weak man?"

Kami wanted to unleash the gathering storm overhead, but she felt that striking first wasn't right. Not if they were supposed to be the good guys any way. Thunder crashed again and she felt rain wanting to fall to the ground.

Hinji waited impatiently for any sort of sign to act. He also knew that Kami was preparing something and didn't want to be the reason why it failed. So, he continued to wait.

Tsu's resistance finally caved in. She'd been standing there, trembling, pretending to be fine. But the curse was working it's way across her like a disease. She arched her back, let out a scream of pain like the others, then slammed into the floor she'd been standing on. She let out a long growl of pain, gripping onto the floor as she... shrank. Which was strange, since you'd imagine a curse like this would make her grow. She let out a rolling growl, arching her back as she dug her fingers into the ground. She let out a high pitched, and rather pained, meowing sound.

Kano gasped as his sensei fell and started changing. "What did you do?!" He demanded of their enemy, holding a flaming hand out before him.

Tezcatlipoca laughed as the boy with glasses attempt to goad him. "Seyonne is far from weak. Do you honestly believe that just anyone can summon someone like me? I am Tezcatlipoca, I'm known also as Ilhuicahua Tlalticpaque, the Possessor of the Sky and Earth." To emphasize his point he stamped a massive foot into the ground and the very earth itself shook from his touch. He reached a hand skyward and literally pulled one of the clouds from the sky. "I am the Heart of Mountains known as Tepeyollotl, god of the earthquake. No weakling can summon me to this realm."

"No. But apparently a simple boy can make you fall for something obvious." Oita said with a shrug before he raised his hands; the chakra strings that had once dangled seemed to tighten, but not to something in front of or behind Tezcatlipoca. They were heading straight down into the ground. The softened floor, which Tezcatlipoca had done himself to show off, suddenly shifted and a wooden hand gripped Seyonne around the ankle. Not the summon, but the summoner. Another hand, one of Oita's strongest puppets, rocketed up with a speed that was capable of splitting rock, but no longer had to thanks to the so called God's display of power. What would have been a devastating blow to the weakest part of a man, AKA Seyonne's testicles, became possible of an even harder punch than before.

Kami took her chance while Oita distracted them with his puppet. It didn't matter that Tez... Tezca... The cat thing had taken one of her clouds, she still had plenty left to create her lightning. With one tiny adjustment to her hand sign, they condensed into one massive bolt and struck Tezcatlipoca in the center of the chest.

Hinji took this as the right moment and mentally commanded his samurai forward. Without a word, it rushed forward quickly and brought his swords down in an attempt to cleave the beast's head from his shoulders.

Seyonne folded over when the puppet's arm connected with his groin. The force of the impact threw him up into the air, where he twisted and turned until he landed on his feet again. He groaned and shook his head, looking directly at the puppeteer. Through gritted teeth, he cursed and glared at the boy, "I take it your keeper there didn't tell you everything hmm?" He smirked and pulled the front of his tunic aside to show the dented cup in his groin. "Granted...that still hurt, but not as bad as it could have."

Tezcatlipoca was pushed back by the blast of lightning. He brought his paws to his chest and literally grabbed a hold of the bolt as it shoved him back several feet. He pulled on the lightning bolt until it broke free of the clouds. Spreading his arms out wide, he warped the lightning into a band between his arms, holding it up to block the samurai's blades. "Fools! You cannot defeat a god!"

Hinji and Kami could take care of the cat guy. Kano felt Oita could use his help more right now. He surged forward and taking in a huge gasp of air, formed the handsigns with his flaming hands, brought his fingers to his lips and let the breath out through the flames. "Fire style - Fireball jutsu!" The great ball of flames was slightly less impressive than the boy had hoped as it streaked across the expanse towards its target. It collided with a loud explosion, shoving the mysterious summoner even further back from the others.

"We have to ground him." Kami said, dissipating her storm jutsu since it was obviously not going to work. She would have to use her melee ability to attack him from now on, but she couldn't so long as he had stolen her lightning.

"You're just lucky I didn't put an explosive tag on the arm." Oita said with a sniff, twitching a finger and making the huge puppet, Casket, crawl out of the floor. He was still his huge barrel chested self, long arms and a sturdy body. At this point the fireball whizzed past and hit Seyonne. Damn, now Casket had to run to get nearer. He wasn't good at that.

Hinji didn't let up the assault as he order the samurai to try and beat past the leopard god's defense. He had little hope it would work except maybe to distract it and allow another to score a hit.

Kano clapped a hand on Oita's shoulder and smiled proudly at the results of his fireball. "I think we've got this guy."

"You really think your little puppets can stop me?" Seyonne asked him, truly shocked the child thought that highly of himself. His clothes were burning from Kano's fireball and he brushed the flames away with a chakra emblazoned hand. He grinned savagely and looked at the two boys. "Nice trick. Want to see one of mine?" His hands moved in a blur of motion as he formed the handsigns quicker than the eyes could comprehend. "Man-beast Mimicry!" He declared as he activated the jutsu. His body erupted with power as he synched up with the animal that he had summoned. His skin became riddled with jaguar-like spots, his hair surged freely from his scalp, flowing down to the middle of his back. His muscles rippled and expanded, giving him far more strength than he had even when he mimicked the giant rhino. The thunder crackled and the earth trembled lightly as his body even mimicked the god's incredulous elemental powers.

Tezcatlipoca looked over his shoulder curiously as he felt the tremor through the earth. As the samurai pressed forward, he instinctively raised his weapon in defense, pulling up the man's weapons upward. The instinctual act drew his attention back to the battle at hand and he smirked. "It has been many long years since I have battled one such as this." He noted, looking over the samurai's head at Hinji and actually nodded to the young ninja. "It is a shame I must end this brave warrior's brief existence." He broke the lightning chain in two and jammed one end of the literal blade of lightning into the chest of the samurai.

"I'll show you man beast!" came a shrill voice. The... thing that had once been Tsu leapt at Seyonne from behind, ignored by the figure for too long. She was small, looked somewhere between a goblin and a cat, but had huge, slick claws. She hissed at him, a small ball of fur and claws, but mostly claws. She looked insane, spitting at Seyonne and slashing towards him with a set of deadly looking claws.

Oita had been about to speak... but he decided that Tsu had rather distracted Seyonne. Instead the puppet rushed forward at once, whipping an arm back as if making sure the punch held more power. But the arm kept going back... and back... and back... extending to such an extreme that it was about to punch Tezcatlipoca in the back of the head without a second's warning.

Kami had never worked with Hinji before and frankly, she wasn't sure how. Maybe while this Cat-god was tangling with the samurai she could circle around behind. Ishiaki Sensei had recently taught her a jutsu that might do well to take him down. If this lightning attack didn't work. She would be forced to use taijutsu.

Hinji saw the nod but didn't have time to acknowledge it as he was searching for his next card, which he threw out before the mist from his samurai had even drifted away. What appeared was a humanoid figure similar to what he had used during his fight with the bear man Ashikuma, except it looked like this one's body was made of stone.

The ears of the great cat-god Tezcatlipoca twitched ever so slightly and it ducked it's mighty head, sinking to the ground and pivoting, bringing its paw forward, slamming into the chest of the newly summoned rock giant. As it ducked, the ever stretching arm of the puppet Casket flew through the air where he had been only a moment ago. With a roar, he unleashed the full fury of the lightning bolt he had captured, snapping it free of his clutches and sending its power surging along the puppet's extended arm.

Seyonne cursed as the little catgirl flung herself onto his back. He hissed as her claws dug into his flesh, reaching back over his head, he grabbed a hold of her and pulled her from him, single handed. "I grow weary of you, twerp." His other hand snap forward and grabbed her by the throat and started to squeeze. "Now die."

Kami appeared out of nowhere behind Tezcatlipoca. Birds seemed to chirp manically from everywhere around him as Kami unleashed the jutsu Ishiaki sensei has taught her. She had not yet named it, so decided to call it what he had, "LIGHTNING BLADE!"

Hinji's rock giant stumbled back a bit and there was some black pebbly bits that fell off, but it stayed together. With an angry roar it charged forward and hoped to add impact to Kami's attack.

Oita watched as the puppet's arm blackened and writhed... but it stayed whole. Oita treated his wood. It was practically fire proof and the power hit the wood with a dead halt. Perhaps it would have done more damage, even broken the arm, but Oita hadn't left the arm still for a second. The moment it had missed he'd started to move it, heading back in the other direction. Now this punch was heading straight for Seyonne. And it had a hell of a wind up.

Tsu let out a small hissing snicker, gazing up at Seyonne as she gripped her around the neck. "Predictable." she mocked as she poofed into non-existence, leaving a log of wood and a laughing noise coming directly from behind Seyonne.

Tezcatlipoca shrieked in pain as the lightning attack slammed into his spine. All the hair on his body stood on end as the lightning chakra coursed through every cell in his mighty body. The rock golem's strength prevented him from leaping away from the attack. He clawed at the golem's rocky flesh with his talons, hoping to tear the creature apart and get away from the overwhelming energy surging through his back

When the log dropped from his hand, Seyonne cursed and leaped straight up into the air. The puppet's super wind-up punch rocketing under his feet. He hoped it would slam into the little girlbeast as she sneaked up behind him, but he doubted his luck would hold that well. He roared, holding his hands out at his sides, summoning up the clouds around him to form another summoning circle. Tezcatlipoca was god of earth and air, using the god's power over the air, he would summon forth the god of air and earth, Tezcatlipoca's counterpoint. The moment the circle was formed, he brought his thumb to his teeth and broke the flesh, spraying the blood across the cloud as his hands formed the signs. "Summoning Jutsu - Quetzalcoatl Soar!"

Lightning streaked the sky, thundering booming loud enough to make the earth tremble as the cloud circle exploded. The enormous head burst forth, sending bolts of lightning down towards the aggressive ninja as the creature's feathers and scales became evident. It spread its massive wings and roared, the clouds rippling across the sky like the surface of water when a stone was thrown in.

Kano was intending to launch an attack against Seyonne when the massive dragonic creature burst into existence. He felt his knees quake as the earth trembled. He had never before seen what others would call a god, he would not even had put Tezcatlipoca in that category, but looking up at this thing, this Quetzalcoatl...he felt small.

When Oita got scared, he became vindictive. Maybe that was why he didn't flinch when Quetzalcoatl emerged, instead he trapped his tongue between his teeth in concentrating and whipped his hands through the air. The puppet fist that had been missed Seyonne looped around again, rocketing upwards, straight towards Seyonne, who was busy after the summoning. From this angle a face punch was impossible. But... well, Oita just hoped that the blow to the cup previously had weakened it enough. Either that or it would become a metal trap around Seyonne's testicles.

Tsu hissed loudly at the creature that was summoned from the sky. "BIRD!" she yelled at it before starting to claw her way up buildings and walls, intending to get to the highest place before attacking the great flying thing. Maybe she wasn't the smartest person around, but she was quite ambitious.

Kami found the resistance against her "blade" and applied as much physical force as she could to the slicing motion as Hinji's summons kept the cat beast where he was. She felt muscle tear and blood boil as she raked the lightning blade through his body, attempting to slice his spine in two. At the moment she could sense the lightning cracking through the sky as Seyonne summoned another "god".

Hinji's stone golem stood motionless as little pieces of stone was chipped away from his chest. He knew his current task was to keep the leopard god from moving away from Kami's attack.

As the puppet yet again attempted to strike Seyonne, Quetzalcoatl whirled around and snapped its mighty jaws closed around the little twig of an arm before it would connect with his summoner. Seyonne smirked and lowered himself onto the back of the mighty one's head.

Tecatlipoca screeched in pain and disbelief as its legs gave out beneath him. Defeat? At the hands of a female...CHILD?! He clawed at the earth, finding the truth to be dreadful. The once mighty god of Earth and Sky, felled by the stroke of a girl-child's hand. He had become arrogant in his power and age. The grin that parted his lips was one of sheer amusement. He looked skyward, disgusted by the fact that the fight must now be passed to the feather one...but he had no other choice.

The lightning blade had cleaved his spine in two, he felt the summons wearing thin and reached up with both paws. One closed around his bulky gold earring, the other tenderly closed around one of the feather adornments in his headdress. Pulling the two items free, he laid them ceremoniously at his feet. "Splendid battles deserve trophies to match." Was all he managed to say before erupting in a POOF! of white smoke.

"Damn him..." Oita muttered before the extendable arm suddenly flicked out and tried to wrap around Quetzalcoatl's jaws. It's face looked similar to a crocodile, and if Oita remembered right, they couldn't open their jaws very well, but could close them with excessive force. He'd figured it would be useless to try and tear the arm away, but if he could loop the arm around the jaws he might get a pretty good grip on the flying God.

There was resistance, then suddenly there wasn't and bathed in smoke, Kami stumbled forward. She caught herself on her knee, slightly smoking from the intensity of her attack. She would have to thank Ishiaki for teaching her that jutsu.

As soon as Tezcatlipoca fell and Kami removed her blade, Hinji's stone golem evaporated. It was of no more use to him and had to be replaced with something that could combat the new flying menace. He plucked a card and tossed it into the air above him where it split in two before bursting. In their place hovered two, four winged, humanoid creatures about three and a half foot tall. They looked unimposing except they both wielded long, solid spears in their boney, clawed hands. With a simple gesture they both dashed off towards the winged snake god and his summoner.

The air rippled as the lightning crackled across the sky. Seyonne leaped from the back of Quetzalcoatl. His arms were about as big around as tree trunks as he swung them through the air towards the two winged creatures Hinji had summoned. The static in the air made his fur stand on end as he moved to attack the creatures.

Quetzalcoatl thrashed as the puppet's arm snaked around and tied his muzzle closed. He growled deeply and the lightning in the sky intensified, the earth trembled far beneath him. Lightning arced wildly between the arch of the 'god's' feathery wings. Its cold, yet fiery, eyes stared down at the source of the puppet's movements. It followed the unseen chakra lines and growled threateningly at Oita

Kami stood, smoke flitting away from her as her arm thrummed with the residual effects of the lightning. She could still hear birdsong in her ears but she saw what Tezcatlipoca had left them and placed both items into her pack considering Hinji was currently busy. She turned to assess the situation and how best to attack, approaching Kano she did so.

Kano looked at her and for the first time noticed that Tezcatlipoca was no longer there. He couldn't help but grin, she'd taken him out, it was obvious. He gestured towards the sky battle with his head, "Can't fly can you? I feel pretty useless down here."

"No I cannot." Kami said standing next to him. "I can attack at a distance but I've not yet learned to aim it as quickly as they are traveling."

"If you're going to bring it, then bring it." Oita said, keeping calm as he stared up at the god he was muzzling. He began to retract the puppet's arms, trying to drag the flying beast down. He was trying to bring it lower... or bring his puppet up to it. either way, Oita was the one trying to bring the fight.

Hinji's creatures weren't expecting their target to charge them that way and only one managed to dodge out of the way. The other one caught a tree sized fist to the face and plummeted to the ground, hitting with an unexpected poof. The other recovered and charged after, trying to skewer the man with its spear.

"Neither can I. I'm rather limited to the throwing distance of my shuriken..." Kano replied sadly. He could do many fire style moves, but fire style wasn't exactly one for such great distances as this...

The feathered one did not care for being ordered around, nor did he care for the muzzle Oita was attempting to hold its jaw shut with. Stretching its great neck wide, it swung the puppet upwards from its current position. The arc moving it the opposite direction its arm had been wound around its snout. The movement loosened the precarious grip the puppet had on him, while simultaneously pulling the bothersome puppet closer to the destructive force of Quetzalcoatl's maw

Seyonne grinned with satisfaction as the first creature exploded in smoke. As the spear came in to skewer him, he pivoted to avoid the blow. The thunder boomed as he twisted in the air. He brought a massively inflated arm down on the creature's spear and grabbed a hold of it in the space between his arm and torso. He pulled the spear to him and growled savagely at the summoned creature. His fingers moved speedily, bring them forward, he slammed a massive hand into the creature's chest. A summoning circle formed on the humanoid's chest. "Summoning Jutsu - Murder!" There was an explosion of chakra as from the other side of the circle erupted hundreds of crows. They tore clean through the summoned creature's torso and burst through the other side.

A cacophony of animalistic noises, as well as the sound of tearing and rending fabric, and the crashing of buildings was the herald of Ishiaki's frantic approach. He hated running from the enemy, but these creatures that chased after him were a far cry from the enemy. They were simply unfortunates who had gotten in the villain's path. They wanted the stone he clutched in his left hand, the beastmen had hardly said any word other than Heart the entire time they chased him. They may be the ones chasing him, but he was the one leading them. He was no fool, he knew that the source of their distress and only hoped what he had planned was going to work...

The creature let out a screech as the crows burst threw it's chest before it poofed away. Hinji watched as the creature died and pondered his next summons. If Seyonne continued his trip to the ground then he could be set upon by a ground-based summons. Which was really the only thing he had left that could do anything.

Oita was watching in anger as he tried to figure out what to do with his puppet that was being tossed around like a doll, only to find Tsu flying out from a high up ledge. She bounced off of the flying puppet, pushing it back downwards hard and locking the giant flying... bird thing's jaws shut. With a triumphant cry of "BIRD!" the psychotic and tiny cat scratched her way up Quetzalcoatl's face. Now she had been given a lift up to get to it, she was starting to rip into the creature, using all the power of the beast she had been granted to do so.

Oita winced as he saw his puppet get slammed into the floor... He could see the wood cracking, the stress getting to the puppet... But it was holding the jaw shut as best it could, trying to stop Tsu from being ripped to shreds right now by causing a constant distraction at ground level. He just hoped it didn't get thrown about too much, Casket was about to fall to pieces.

Seeing Ishiaki being chased by all those... Kami didn't know what to call them but she did assume that Ishiaki needed help. "It seems we have something to do after all." Kami said, giving Kano a pat on the shoulder she took off for Ishiaki, already preforming the signs that brought a shower of lightning down on the encroaching hoard.

The only thing louder than the crashing thunder of Kami's lightning was the cry of "SEYONNE!" resonating through the air. On the sound, going directly for it's target, rode El, holding onto his hat, Akane's ocarina around his neck.

Kano couldn't help but grin when Ishiaki arrived with the horde. He was pleased to have something to attack finally. He rushed after Kami, his hands traveling to his kunai pouch. He slipped on bladed weapon between each of his fingers

Hinji watched as the "cavalry" came swooping in. These new additions would change things and forced him to throw his just formed plan out the window.

Quetzalcoatl thrashed madly as the little cat girl tore into its flesh. The Infectious Beast Jutsu granted magnicifient strength and power into whoever it infected. And now all that strength and power was being used against the Feathered One. The lightning crackling between his wings surged down their lengths and rocketed along his body, creating a barrier of lightning chakra between him and the attacking little catgirl.

Seyonne couldn't help but grin savagely as the little musician ninja came flying in on a soundwave. He swirled the air around him and kept himself aloft as he looked at the boy. The lightning crackled across his skin and traveled down the length of his arm as he fired the bolt at the mariachi.

Ishiaki was pleased that his student burst into the fray. "Try not to hurt them too much! They aren't in control of their actions." He kept the Heart clutched in his hand as he drew his sword. So far his plan was working as he had intended. He lead the pack to where there was bound to be backup.

Kami's lightning erupted into the pack of rabid beastmen, making them scatter away from their target as well. Snarling, they lot of them turned on the little ninja that had literally brought thunder.

"We have a little problem ourselves!" Oita yelled in return, flicking his wrist and having one of Casket's arms slide off of Quetzalcoatl's maw and come slamming down towards Seyonne. He was attempting to deflect the lightening bolt with the wooden puppet and throw a blow at Seyonne, but he wasn't sure how well it would work with a battered puppet.

Tsu hissed loudly as she found the flesh of the beast tingling beneath her. She didn't like it. She leapt away, floating in the air a second before slamming back against Quetzalcoatl to attack if for a brief second, then she darted away again to get clear of the tingling. On one of these jumps she looked down at Ishiaki and mumbled "Snu snu..." but that wasn't important right now.

El couldn't exactly evade, but he stopped shouting and that caused him to abruptly drop out of the way, then he caught himself by whistling. This sent him rocketing high above Seyonne and as he began to fall he placed Akane's ocarina to his lips and played a very sharp bird like tune. The invisible sound slashed out in numerous arcs all around and at Seyonne, if he evaded any direction he was likely to get struck at least once.

Hinji decided he would be best suited against the pursuers on Ishiaki and turned to face them. He pulled a card and threw it so it landed behind the sensei. What it summoned was a large, reflection-less pool of some black liquid that, when a pursuer stepped in it, held them fast by the feet.

With the hold of his muzzle lessened, Quetzalcoatl arched it's grand hand and roared, tearing it's mouth open, forcing the other arm to crack and fall, releasing it's tenuous hold. The static lightning surged down along his feathered body, the bouncing little cat girl was feeling more like a flea than anything else at the moment. Chakra gathered in its maw as it angled its terrible power downwards at the puppet master. The surging lightning formed into a ball within its jaws and a terrible hatred burned in his eyes as he looked down at the pitiful humans beneath it.

The puppet arm slammed into Seyonne's back as he moved to dodge El's sound waves. The blast struck him and caused him to spin into several of El's attacks. His tunic and flesh erupted as the sound sliced into him. The bloody wounds closed quickly however, he was still within the powers of the mimicry jutsu, Tezcatlipoca's massive chakra stores were his own to command. His eye began to twitch and he laughed maniacally. "SO! The boy believes himself to be a man!? Worthy of slaying a monster, eh? It's time you learned your PLACE!" The air filled with lightning as he sent bolt after bolt hurling towards the small mariachi

Kano lunged forward, sending his kunai slicing through the air in great arcs. His fingers moved quickly and bring them to his mouth, called out the jutsu, "Fire Style - Dragon Talons!" His fire chakra leaped from his lips and turned his kunai into molten hot fireballs with sharp bladed centers

Several of the encroaching horde fell victim to Hinji's illustrious tar pit trap. Many more fell to the lightning rained upon them by Kami, and still more fell to the fiery inferno brought about by Kano's jutsu. But still, more came. There seemed to be no end to the mindless monstrosities. They sought the stone in the hand of the blind swordsman, but he would not relinquish it.

Ishiaki's sword flashed as he sliced through the horde with surgical precision. His attacks would leave them injured, but not dead. These were not enemies, simply unlucky innocents who had become puppets of a sick and demented man.

El managed to evade, but unlike Kami and Akane, he was not fast. As lightning struck him he understood what so many of those trees Kami practiced on, felt like. The strike sent him to the ground and he knew he would have to do the same thing he had done to Viktor... only it was hard to play an ocarina when your blood felt as if it had been rapid boiled.

Had Kami been wearing her weights, she would have been bitten and probably turned by now. She didn't want to kill these people, just incapacitate them. They didn't deserve what they'd been turned into, so between showers of lightning, she bounced, vaulted and twisted about the hoard, trying to strike as many as she could hard enough to at least knock them out.

His puppets cracking up, Oita was controlling Casket with one hand, while digging in his pack. He had one more puppet, and the attack the creature was winding up to throw at him looked like a big one. As he dug out the other scroll with his left hand, his right was twitching, making the final arm of Casket lunge to wrap around Seyonne, trying to stop him from doing anything and apply pressure to the wounds El had caused. He sliced his thumb, imprinted on the paper... but it didn't seem to work. There was a puff and nothing appeared. Just Oita, standing there with his pack on, looking shocked before realising what had happened. As he did he threw a kunai, trying to aim for Seyonne, who was hopefully wrapped up in Casket's grip.

Tsu hissed, landing on the very eye of the beast and starting to claw at Quetzalcoatl's eye with her sharp and sickle like claws. She then bounded away, using his eye as a launch pad, before dashing in and going for the other one. She wasn't going to let herself be dismissed by a damn bird lizard.
