Ginza. The most expensive shopping street. Several stores even had guards outside O.O it was a tad bit scary.

The emperial palace. If you can see it, that is XD it's not legal to go any closer D:


Yes, that tiny little white building is the emperial palace XD w00t.
(Oh, by the way... did I mention I no longer live in year 2009? They have different counting system here, so currently, I live in Heisei jidai, year 21 :D wooo!)


Asakusa. Just got out of the trainstation ^^' Asakusa is a place with stores dating back to the Edo jidai (The anime/manga Rurouni kenshin (samurai X) was set during the edo jidai) :3 The only sad thing was that the place was madly overcrowded D: even worse than Harajuku on certain places D: C L A U S T R O P H O B I C >.>








It really doesn't look as crowded as it actually was on this picture... but anyway, the crowd was moving towards that gate-thing, so we couldn't really do anything else but follow XD Ended up at some temple/shrine :3
(Also, if you study the picture, you can see that there are not many foreigners there... even though this is in the middle of a sightseeing place in Tokyo during a national holiday! O.o)




























Tomb of Tokugawa Ieyasu. (Aka, the guy who established the Tokugawa shogunate, aka the founder of the Edo period (the period with samurai >:D)).
