warrior's dream
I wrote this for a very special woman
based on a true dream I had of her...

I was a warrior
I had been trough many dangers
Arrow in my armor
And right trough my chest…

On my left arm
I see the tattoed rose
With your name on it
I see myself
Covered in dirt and blood
Fresh blood, but not of me…

Blood on my face
Blood on my hands
Blood on my bandana
Wich holds my bloody hair…

And I am standing in nothing
Fully armored
With a battleworn
Halberd and shield…

A voice calls to me
Telling me to run
To a grand hall
As far as the eye can see
The candles dip the hall
In a warm and divine aura…

But then I see
You in the distance
You looking at me…

You dressed in divine white
And a glow around your being
With pearlywhite wings
And eyes even deeper
And mysteriouse then
The hall I was standing in…

I want to run
Towards you, yes
But my armor is to heavy
And I cannot move on…

I abandon my armor,
My weapon and my shield
To the eternal darkness
Behind me, it yields..
So I can finally run towards you now

I pull the arrow
Out of my chest
And if it is by magic
It became the rose next to my chest…

The rose I had put in your hair
And gave a gentle kiss
Yes, I do care

And ashamed
I searched for a cloth
My dirty lips
Have tainted your cheek
But still you laugh
As you kiss
me, oh so gently
Me on the lips…

A music comes
And followes
The soul of the light
I ask you to dans
And you accept…

We dans
Trough time, space and fire
Never keeping a moment
Out of eachother's eyes…

But then…
In happyness
A tear escapes you eye
I try to catch it…
But the moment
I have…

It...
I…
awake...
