Rika and Hiei walked together through the woods. Rika looked rather stern. Hiei looked at her, "What's wroung now?" "That girl. Something about her just...pisses me off. She's hiding something." "Just forget it. It's none of our concern what happens to them." Hiei said. Rika sighed and they continued walking.

Kisara finally stopped in front of a cave. Jin caught up with her,panting. "Do ya...have ta run...so fast?" "Sorry....but my ancestor said that there was an odd power at work. Possibly Egyptian. What we've been looking for,right?" She smiled at Jin. He frowned. "Las...I wouldnt be gettin' yeh hopes up..." "Oh,can it and follow me..." Kisara said with a gleeful smile. Jin sighed in defeat,and continued to followe her.

Rika and Hiei were lying on the ground, Hiei alseep on his side. Rika had her hands behind her head, and stared up at the stars with annoyance on her face. She sat up, looked at Hiei to make sure he was asleep, then stood up. "I can't stand here and let that girl ponder my mind." She mumbled angerly to herself. Then she changed into her fighting outfit and went off to trace Kisara and Jin.
Hiei peeked an eye open, "That girl always get's herself into troble." He yawned and turned over on his back, "Few more hours of sleep...then I'll go check on her..." he said and fell alseep again.

Kisara wandered deeper into the cave. She suddenly stopped,causing Jin to run into from behind. "Ow! Sheesh! Could've warned me,ya' know?" "Uh-oh....we have a problem..." "What that be?" "This cave leads stright down into a deeper part. It looks to be at least twently feet down off a sheer cliff." "How dy'a know that?! I cant see a thing!" "I'm a cat,remember? Cats can see pretty well in the dark."

Kurama shook his head, those were two couples that were oddly matched. Sighing, Kurama left the meadow to explore the surroundings.

Rika ran swiftly through the woods, as Hiei does sometimes. When she reached the cave entrance, she stopped and sniffed the air, "That's her. I'd smell that cat even if we were in different dimentions." Rika said through her teeth and ran into the cave with her demonic speed.

Kisara looked down the cliff. "Well,I have no ideas." "Dont look at me lass,I dont have any,either. This is YOUR adventure,afer all..."

Rika suddenly appeared a few feet next to them. She looked at Kisara and smirked, "Hi, Kitty cat. Miss me?"

Kisar acted instantly. "DONT CALL ME THAT!!!!!!" Jin Took a step back,sighing.

"I'll call you what I want. Just tell me what your doing here." Rika said, her eyes narrowed and no emotion on her lips.

Kisara was about to say somethinhg,and then turned around,turning slightly red. "Thats....none of your beez wax!"

Rika rolled her eyes and looked forward, "Fine, I'll just find out for myself." She said with her eyes closed and her voice sonded, somewhat sweet.

Kisara blinked. "Jin,lets find a way-" She paused for a couple of minutes. "Ok,this way." Jin stared at her. "Followin' it again?" Kisara put her finger to her lips,making sure rika didnt see it. Jin watched as Kiara began to move some rocks out of a seemingly stable wall.

Rika grinned and her eyes were on them as she stood with her hands laced behind her back, "Cat's aren't the only one's who can see in the dark." she said, making sure Kisara or Jin didn't hear.

Kisara uncovered a small cavern that led downard. "....It should act as a slide towards the bottom." She grinned at Jin. "Last one's theres a rotten corpse!" She went headfirts into the dark. Jin stared,startled. "Fine! 'Ave it your way!" He jumped in after her. 

Rika idoly walked over and jumped in after a moment as well, Keeping a small distance from Kisara and Jin, but still within view and sense of them.

Later on, Saphira appeared at the entrance of the cave as well. She had been staying in the cave for a while, just until she could find somewhere else to stay. "Funny...i sense a presence in here now, but deep into the cave, where i haven't bother'd to go...all well, probably nothing." She mummbled as she went to part of the cave, by the entrance, where she had made it like home. It had a clothe bed, her pack, and some candles (for light obviously) she layed down and fell asleep.

Kisara screamed as she fell down and landed hard on the craggy,cave floor. "OUCH!!" She hsouted as she rubbed her back. She heard a small shout behind her. "Wha-? OOF!!" Jin came down as well,and landed on something soft. "Kisara? Kisara? Lass,wher' ya go?" "Umdermeaf yew!" Jin bounced up,and helped her up. "Ehh...sorry 'bout that..." "Gah! No problem. Lets go." She immediatly began to walk deeper into the cave.

Rika slid down to the bottom and flipped as she came out. The she stood up staight and put a hand to her hip. The looked around for a moment, but ran up behind Jin and Kisara.

Kisara looked back at Rika,but continued to walk. "Doya HAVE to follow us?!"

"If I'm gonig to find out what's going on, then yes." Rika responded.

"Ever heard of 'private affairs'?" Kisara asked with a twitch.

Rika glared at her viciously, "Of course I have you little-!!!" she stopped, knowing what she was about to say. About to give away her secrets. "Let's just!-...Continue!" She finished with a small embarrased blush and her eyes closed in anger.

Kisara stopped for a few more seconds,and then walked on in a different direction. "Almost there."

Rika, now a little reluctant, followed. Strangly she felt somethign in her heart, not haterid, but something warm. It was bizzare, especially since she was mad.

Kisara suddenly ran ahead. "Its right up here!" Jin quickly followed.

Rika looked at them and ran to keep up.

Kisara stopped short,making Jin run into her from behind,again. "Oy! You sure 'ave a knack for makin' people bump into ya like that..." "Can it,Jin...look for...a ruby...a big one." Jin cocked his head to one side. "Ruby,eh. Alright." The two began to search around.

Rika's eyes went wide and shiny, "Ruby?" she sounded excited then went into full chibi, dreamy mode, "Oooo, I wounder! The texture and beauty must be facinating." Then she returned to normal, "If there are gems involved, then I would be more then happy to help you out!" Rika said with big chibi eyes and a smile. Saying she would be 'more then happy to help them out' was kinda her way of asking to be friends or something...

"Yeah,a ruby...there should be-OH!" She moved a small rock,and unearthed a large,red,perfectly cut ruby. "Here it is! The Ruby of Ra!" [I make up my own Gems,just so you dont think I'm copying an egyptian legend or anything.]

Rika zipped next to her, "EEEE! It's beautiful. Soooo...You want I should help you on your little...whatever quest thing?" Rika looked at Kisara with curiosity. Odveously, gems and jewels were a way to win Rika's friendship, that is until she gets to know you.

Kisara closed her eyes. "I'm tracking down my grandfathers relics for protection. They've been sold and spreaded through the world,some of them lost in caves like this,and ome of them in like museums and stuff. They're not ordinary gems,either. My grandfather was once a leader of Egypt. The gems were put in his care,in his family only. Its important in my heritage,to colect and be the guardian of these gems,for the sole reason that every one has a bit of each one of my acestors in it. The Ruby holds a part of my...well,a very great aunt."

Rika's excitment turned to whoa, "Oh...then....I can't have the jewel?" she went all chibi teary, then back to normal with her hands on her hips and her back turned from the two. She sighed, "Oh well...Tomorrow's heist will make me feel better." She winked, but to no one. Then she turned to Kisara with a small smile and her fingers laced behind her back, "So, we done here?"

"Yeah,were done..." Kisara slowly let her eyes drift towards Rika. "Well....there are a FEW of these gems that need mere protection and dont have anything in them...I guess,for payment,if you wanted to help..."

Rika beamed a big smile and nodded, "Ok, but if we're going to work together, then I guess we're going to have to get along." She said, no longer smiling, but her eyes narrow as they ussually are and her ussual, 'no expression', to her face.

Kisara began to walk forward. "Jin,you've been quiet." "Ah...well,jus' been thinkin'...ow' do we get back?" "Uhh...same way we came?" "But...wasn' that,er,a straight drop?" Kisara froze. "Ummm...well...we could...think of something! Unless...like,someone came...but I dont think anybody would LIVE in this cave!"

Rika thought for a moment, "I can get us out with a spell."

"A spell?" Kisara asked,blinking. "Oh! I've heard of spell energy! Go ahead."

Rika nodded, then closed her eyes with her hands to her sides. Then brought them up across her chest and her hands grasped her shoulders. Then she opened her eyes and they were glowing. Then she flung her hands in the air and looked up at the hole. The hole grew wider and parts of it crumbled as the cave shook a little. When it stopped, the hole has become much bigger. Rika bent down a little, still looking up, then she hoped up and flew into the air. Then Kisara and Jin floated up as well. Quickly, until they reached the top and landed on the edge.

Kisara looked at RIka. "Impressive." Jin shook his head. "Never been on a trip like tha' before.."

"That was just a simple spell." Rika said with a smirk. "Ok, now let's get outta here."

"Yes...lets..." She paused a moment. "Ummm....Rika.....what is this jewel you're stealing tonight?"

Rika blinked, "Well it's tomorrow night, and it's called the Sages Stone. A wonderous and powerful gem. Used by many sages in the past. It was used to increase spells."

"Ah....usually I would stop a thief,but I got you to know you and whatever floats your boat,I say."

Rika couldn't help but smile a little, "O..k..."

Jin laughed. "Tha's jus' like Kisara!" Kisara looked back at him with a smile and a nod. Then she paused. "Hmmm...I could've sworn I saw something at the entrance to the cave earlier,but...well,I dont know,it looked kinda like a camp...maybe somebody DOES live in that cave..." She asked,wondering aloud.

"Well let's find out." Rika said.

Kisara smiled,and her ears perked up. "All right! Come on Jin!" Jin sighed slightly. "Always havin' ta satisfy that curiousity..." He shrugged with a smile,and walked on.

Rika followed with a small smile.
