ATTENTION ALL ROLE PLAYERS AT GRIFFINDORM!

(Sorry about the caps just need people to read this stuff.)

1. All Griffindors attend the SAME classes no matter which year they are in. (That's to avoid the messiness of everyone rushing about all over the place.)

2. HARRY POTTER, HERMIONE, NEVILLE, the WEASELEYS, and STUDENT CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK ALL DO NOT EXIST. Therefore I think Sirius might not also. Though Lupin might if you want to make him our Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher...some opinions please? (I apologise that this was not written earlier)

3. I WOULD ALSO ADVISE PEOPLE TO AVOID USING TERMS LIKE "THE GIRL" OR "THE BOY" OR EVEN "THE WOLF". IT ONLY CONFUSES YOUR READER. example as thus: "The girl said to the wolf."[Who said to which wolf?] YOU HAVE A NAME, USE IT! TRY TO USE THINGS LIKE "ANGELICA'S WOLF SAT IN A CORNER", OR EVEN BETTER, "MOONFLAP, ANGELICA'S COW, SAID TO DRUNKO...". THIS WOULD AVOID A LOT OF "Huh?" "What?" "Who?" "Are you talking to me?"

4. No Powerplay. Example: If you want someone to fall, type stuff like "Donny put out his leg to trip Girly with a snigger." Leave it there and then allow "Girly" to react to it. If you get impatient, go message the person you are tripping to inform him/her that the rp is in need of his/her to react.

5. No editing or deleting of other people's work unless you have asked their permission or have a valid reason. When you have edited, kindly put in [ in brackets ] who have edited and why.

6. OUR TIMETABLE is as followed for now until we get more teachers:
i)Double Transfiguration (Done)
ii)Lunch break in the Great Hall (Done!)
iii)Potions (IN 15 MINUTES TIME!)
iv)Defense Against the Dark Arts next to Transfiguration classroom. (Next)
v)End of classes (can't have quidditch because there's no other house)
vi)Dinner in Great Hall
vii)Bed!...Next day...

Thus, the tale begins...

A new student of Griffindor walked in to the dormetory cluching her stuff."Wolfs come here please"she said as a black wolf came to her side.

Moira cheerfully opened the door to the dormatory for the fifth year. She couldn't believe she was in fifth already, it all went so fast. In a year it would be her last, and then it would be all over. She didn't know if she should be happy or sad, she loved this place but sometimes she found the days really long and dull. She was also happy to see her friends again, she hadn't seen anyone for the whole summer, living so far away was very annoying, now she wouldn't see her sisters in a year, but she would write them every week as usual. She walked to the bedrooms and put away all her clothes and books. While looking at the window she saw the teachers busy with all the preparations for a new schoolyear. Moira sighed happily, what would this new year bring for her. She awokened from her daydream because her cat was trying to get attention. She picked Siofra up and pet her. 'Now now, you're happy to be back aren't you, me too.'

Katty was singing happily when she climbed the stairs to girls dormitory. It felt so good to be back again! Though she was a little worried of her cousin Bech And her dear friend Janey... Where had they gone? She hadn't got lot time to think that because the stairs ended and her young cat Linga ran trough the floor.
"Linga!" She called angrily and when she stepped in she saw her cat watching closely another cat in the arms of a girl of Kattys age.
"Sorry... She's so exited of being here..." Katty apologized and smiled.

Moira smiled 'I can see, my cat is too, she was acting crazy on the train! Your cat is beautiful, what's her name, Linga?' Moira smiled again:'Pretty name, mine is Siofra, it means little elf, it's an Irish name.'
Moira was talking real fast, she was very excited about being back.

"Siofra sounds very beautiful... And she's a beautiful cat." Katty said with a smile.

'Thank you, yours is too, maybe they'll become friends, lucky yours is not a male, Siofra is such a flirt.'she said laughing and pointing at her cat licking her nice fuzzy fur.
'What's your name again, I can't remember it, there are so many people at this school.'

"No, Linga's female. I hope they become friends." Katty gave a little laugh. " My name's Katherine. But please just call me 'Katty', Katherine's so long."

Moira laughed and said:'Nice to meet ya Katty, I'm Moira.  Will you be sleeping in this room? I hope so, I'd like some new friends!' Moira looked out of the window and made an ugly face;'Oh no Snape, isn't he on retirement yet, he's going to make my year a hell again, I tried so hard to pass his stupid exam, and he failed me with one point to short! bastard! I hate him sooo much

"Well you're not the only one!" Katty said with an evil grin on her face. " Someday I'll do something... Oh, don't mind about that." Katty laughed. "It's my ultimate how-to-kill-Snape-plan. ANd yeah, I'll sleep at this room. New friends are cool... And you'll meet also my cousin Bech and my friend Janey... I just wonder where they've one..." Katty said and looked worried.

Moira giggled:'well I hope you succeed!stupid Snape, he always says my last name wrong, he thinks it's to long to jell it. He mostly just leaves away the O, oh righ my last name's O'Flaherta. Oh and I'm sure your friends will be here soon, maybe Anderling was being annoying again.'

"Probably so." Katty smiled widely. First day at this period and she already had a new friend! Hogwarts was the best place to be.

Not far away from them the floor was filled with the sound of shoes clapping against the stone. Swiftly Audrey swooped out from the staircase.Lean and properly dressed in her newly cleaned robes the girl trampled her way to Katty and Moira. Her eyes gleamed and a calm smile spread across her face as she looked upon the two 5th years.

Katty looked a girl who had just came in to the room. Then she gave a delighted smile.
"Hello Audrey!"

"Hi.." she said as if embarrased. "I just came back from calming down Fabian. *giggles* It seems he got loose and started terrorizing some of the first years." She paused and her face now turns to a sudden joy and laughter.
"He's an awfully stupid bird sometimes! I trust you've unpacked and are getting adjusted to the the new year fine.. yes?" Her face gleamed.

"No, actually I'm just starting to unpack", Katty laughed. "I'm not so energetic that I'd already done that.. Though I'm back here."
Suddenly Katty hugged Audrey. She did that sometimes.
"It's so good to see you again! Have you seen Janey? Or Bech?"

Moira watched them kind of at a distance, smiling and searching for her diary and her discman, a very fun muggle thing she thought. She also got out her violin, she ahd been playing it since she was 7 and was quite good at it.
When the friends finished hugging and smiling she waved:'Hello Audrey.. I didn't know you had a bird? I hope you don't keep it round here cause my cat well..'she pointed at the fluffy Siofra who was sitting near the window looking quite like a viscious little lady. 'she loved to be naughty, altough she's a darling, so I would look out.'

Katty gave a little laugh.
"Yeah, I warn you too, my friend.. Linga is on that age that she hunts everything that moves... I guess she'll be happy with all those mice... If she don't, Linga likes to tease Bech's owl... I'm just afraid that Mrs. Norris will be mean at my lil' Linga.. She's still so young."

Rebecha walks to the door and stays there. Evil smile comes upon her face and then she suddenly opens the door with a big shout: "AAAAAAAAAARGH!" and runs inside the room with her Aikido stick infront of her. Then she stayed there and laughed. "Booo. Hey, don't be afraid Katty, I'm just fine! I heard you were worried about me, you should know already that I'll survive from everywhere! And I don't know about Janey, she was with me but then she went somewhere, I think she saw a good looking boy somewhere..." Naughty grin. "But I'm save, like always..." Stops speaking for a while. She saw school books on Moira's bed. "oh no, why me?? I hate potions, I don't want to see those books, I'm allergic for school books... Hei, who are you" Smiles bigly to Moira. "Nice to meet you! So you sleep in this room too? Then we will be room mates! I'm Rebecha, but I don't like that name its too long and difficult, just use Bech, it's easier!" Then she turns to Audrey. "Hi Audrey, how was your summer? Nice to be here again! Yeah, I like this place but.. oh well, I don't like studying..." When Bech finally speaked enough, she sat on the free bed and put her stuff next to it. Then she took a very tiny bird cage on the bed and opened it. Only five inches high owl came from it and flied to the roof shouting quietly. Linga and Shiefra ran under it spiting and mewing. Bech laughed.

Katty laughed at her cousins arrival. " Are you sure you want to play with that stick here inside? If you wanna take a match, I'll beat you again.. But outside..." Then Katty turned to smile to Moira. "Just to warn you, Bech' mouth is always in a hurry."

A blond haired girl stepped in with an owl sitting on her shoulder. She looked quite angry when she looked the four girls, all older than her. Stubbornly she masched right in front of Katty.
" You!" She shouted. " You... Thief! You took my owl again! Look at her! She's exhausted! What was in that letter you sent? Bricks?"

Kattys smile faded.. Then it turned to an evil grin. " Yes. I BORROWED your owl. I admit. And it was just a regular letter. No bricks, or stones or fruitcakes. And here your owl can rest well... And I don't need to borrow it anymore at this period, I'll use the owls of school."

" You better do so... Because you're not allowed to borrow my owl until next summer! And it likes more to rest with me, so don't try anything stupid. I know you." With that, Sarah turned and left the room quickly.

"My little sister..." Katty said with a tone of apologize in her voice.

Audrey let out a slight giggle and turned to Katty.
"No actually I haven't seen them, but they should be along soon enough,"she said. Her cheeks were still pink with laughter.

A girl walks in looking around at the beds and the other girls. she walks to the far wall putting down the bundle she had in her arms and sat down on her bed.

Meanwhile, outside the Gryffindor Common Room, Rose was pleading with the Fat Lady to let her in. Apparantly she had heard the password wrongly from a Gryffindor prefect. "Please, Fat Lady I don't really wan't to stay out here all night..."

Sarah stops in front of the Fat lady. "have you a problem?"

"Oh hi," Rose replied. "Thank goodness you've arrived. I've got the wrong password so Fat Laddy wouldn't let me in."

"No problem..." *Says right password* "your welcome." *steps in*

Rose sighed as she entered the Common Room. "Just so wonderful to be back isn't it? So how was the hols?"

"Great!" Sarah says. "You?" Sarah looks interested...

"Brilliant! My aunt brought me to Brazil for a holiday." Rose smiled then jumped when she heard a loud screech. "Toffee!" She held out her hand for the owl to land and stroked her owl.

"Cool!!!" Sarah says and looked at Rose.

"Hi girls! Haven´t seen you for a long time!" says Janey suddenly.

"Hi Janey!" Sarah said happily. " I didn't see you coming."

The girl on her bed gets up and picks up the bundle. She looks out the window then starts to walk for the door trying to avoid the other girls even though they are right in the middle"excuse me can I get through?" she says to one trying to get to the door.

"Oh sorry..." Katty smiled and gave a way.

"thanks"said the girl quietly. she walks towards the door when she relises she forgot something and has to go back for it.

Katty looks the quiet girl, wondering does she know her.

Among most of the hustling around her, Audrey props all her things onto her bed. She places her own owl carefully onto a corner side-table and neatly begins unpacking. Carefully keeping a keen eye on the other girls who continued to rush around her. After finishing she quickly gave Fabian, her owl, a light bit of toast she had saved from breakfast. Watching in delight as he nibbled happily on it.

"ah here it is!"says the girl to herself picking up a small black leather book and a muggle pen.She stands up and looks at the gaggle of girls"well here we go again huh artemis?"with that said and done she starts walking through them slowly, moving for the door trying not to bump into anyone.

Toffee however, was screeching and sqwaking excitedly in all the commotion. "Shut up, we have enough noise here as it is!" Rose said irritably as she pinches its beak together. She yawned sleepily. "I'm leaving the packing for tomorrow. Goodnight everyone!" she went up the stairs, fluffed out her pillow and snuggled under her blankets with Toffee beside her and went to sleep.

The girl stayed up almost all night with the black furball and her little black leatherbook.

Katty was awake nearly the whole night, though she would've wnteed to fall asleep. But Sleeping was nearly inpossible on that little bed in the middle of all pets and next to Bech's bed.

Moira couldn't sleep either she sat at the window and looked at the forest, so dark and mysterious in the moonlight. Moira combed her beautiful long red hair and hummed a little song in Irish. Altough she loved the school she would miss her home. Siofra came sitting on her lap and purred. 'Hey Siofra can't you sleep either?'she whispered  She opened a storybook and read a bit.

They could hear Rose muttering in her sleep. "No! Please no!"she muttered. She was dreaming of Snape forcing her to eat Gillyweed because she got a "T" for her Potions test. She tossed and turned in bed trying to get away from Snape in her sleep.
 
Moira saw Rose tossing and turning and decided to wake her up, she was bored anyway. Moira didn't like to sleep for unknown reason. She kneeled down next to Rose' bed and whispered:'Hey rose, rose wake up, you're dreaming, rose!'

Rose woke blurily, mumbled something like, "Sorry Professer McGonagall, didn't mean to fall asleep...", then went back into deep sleep again.

Moira giggled and left her to sleep. She yawned and said:'Bored now..oh well beter hit the sack too.' She put her lovely white nightgown on and crawled under the sheets. Siofra jumped on and slept immedeately. 'Goodnight mom and dad, goodnight Shannon and Rhiannon'she mummbled to her parents and sisters far away, and fell asleep.

"Goodnight.." Audrey quietly whispered to herself. Laying for several moments she began to get a slight chill. Spying an open window she barely managed to get out of bed to shut it. Sighing as she plopped back within her comfy sheets she remained too exausted to wonder why the window was open to begin with. Especially if it had not been that way to start.

Katty lay quiet and awake in her own bed and stared the dark roof upon her. She didn't know why she couldn't sleep. For somereason she felt little sad but she didn't kno why.

Again came the reason why Moira hated to sleep, her nightmare came back. She began tossing and turning, her face crisped with fear. 'No get away from me, don't touch me, go away leave me alone, NO!'she screamed loudly waking everyone in the room inevitably up.

Rushing over to her, Audrey began screaming, "Moira! Moira! Wake up Moira!" This was no longer a laughing matter. Audrey became frightened as the room began to get colder.

The girl waitched the others as they figeted and everything but mostly ignored them.She was just looking at the girl whop screamed and the girl who was trying to wake her up.The little black fur ball crawled on her lap shivering.

Suddenly the door opened and showed a mysterious girl who was muttering"Stupid humans". She glanced at something behind her and said"Come on ". As she stepped into the light they saw the thing she was talking to was a wolf.

The girl with the black furball looked at the other girl and the wolf"see that is something of what you will look like."she says to the furball.She looks at the girl and wolf again and gave a small wave.

The girl looks at the wolf and the wolf does the same thing. "Uh who are you?"

"me? oh um I am uh Alexia Domon, uh you can call me al or alex if you want, thats a very beautiful wolf."says Alexia shyly.

Audrey peered up from her flustration at the girls as Moira still continued to squirm about. With her face very red she spoke in a very upset tone.
"I'm glad you two have gotten aquainted but would you please do something useful! Like getting a professor or at least pretending you care!"

"Well look who thinks shes the Alpha Female" the girl said looking at the wolf...

"um I'll go get a professer then!" says Alexia she gets up holding the furball and heads towards the door and down the stairs quickly.Alexia runs out of the griffendor room and into the room of stairs "Artemis you go look that way and I look this way!"she says letting the little furball down. Alexia run downs stairs and hallways until she has a hard time breathing. she stops and gasps for air. She was oviously lost and didn't know where she was. "Hello??is anyone there?!" she yells.her little fuball was still running around.

Slowly a Grumbling old man appeared to her slyly giving her a grin. holding up a lantern that would surely seem to blind her as he grumbled,
"I see we have a student out of bed. Now why would that be..?"

"uh oh um"stumbles Alexia"well there's this girl and something is uh happening to her and the other girls told me to find um an uh professer so I ame here but uh well I got lost... can you help?"she says a little frightened by this old man but sure that he would help.

Filch grumbled in annoyance. His head turned in the sound direction of Moira's screams. "So there's something odd going on in there... with one of you brats?" He grumbles to himself once more. "Well I suppose you want me to go and find Minerva eh?"

"er."Alexia didn't know who minerva was."if she is a teacher yes then!" all of a sudden a little shadow runsdown the hallways and jumps onto Alexia followed by a mean looking cat."Artemis!!"Alexia holds the little wolf pup close.

Katty was terrified. She jumped off from her bed and ran to screaming Moira and worried Audrey. " What's happening???"

By this time, Rose was also quite awake, looking quite bewildered and confused of what's going on around her. Toffee had flown off to the Owlery with a loud screech in all the commotion. She was now peering over the girls crowded around Moira's bed trying to figure out what's going on.

The mysterious girl was staring at everyone waiting for a explanation..

Moira woke up while tears showered down her face. She was greatly shocked when she saw all those people and she pressed herself against the wall covering her face with her hands. Then she realised where she was and who these people were and she calmed down some. 'Oh I'm sorry I woke you all up, I'm sorry, it was just a bad dream, nothing special, nothing to worry about really. It's nothing..'she whispered softly whiping the tears away from her face.

Bech was awake. Actually she hadn't slept all night. She looked worried to Moira. "Are you sure your ok? Do you need something? That really didn't sound a nice dream to see..." Bech took a handkertief and gave it to Moira. Then she spoke aloud so everyone could here her words: "It looks like no one of us can sleep anymore... So what if we all just stay up and talk about ourselves. Then we could find out more about each others and maybe be fbetter friends. What do you think?" Bech sat on the bed and looked others with a question in her look.

"Well of course you want to talk....!" Katty teased her cousin. Then she turned back to Moira. " You say it's all right.. well, I don't believe you." KAtty climbed to Moiras bed and hugged her. " LEt it out. Tell me what happened."

Kattypatty, what if she don't want to speak to YOU! I have never heard about a person who wants to tell problems to you!... Except me ofcourse...!" Bech gives Katty a big grin. "But hey, are you saying it's not a good idea to speak and learn to know each others?"

"Oh do what you want." KAtty said and sighed. " But, Don't ever call me 'Kattypatty'...." She said with not-so-friendly tone.

"Ok, mother... " she said and laughed. "pattykatty would have been better anyway... "

The girl with the wolf made a disgusted noise(you Know like she was disgusted)."Honestly I dont see why the others agreed to this...." she said talking to the wolf.

Katty stood quickly up. " OK, Bech, That was it." Her voice was calm but her eyes glowed like flames. She walked to her own bed and picked something up from the floor; it was long wooden stick.

"Oh would you guys please cut it out... I reckon we sleep. We have it's our first day of lessons tomorrow." Rose said with a yawn as she tucked back into bed and tried to sleep.

" Oh, sorry..." KAtty looked a little embarassed. " WEll, good night you all..." She put the Aikido-stick´back on the ground and climbed to her bed. It took only seconds until she was fully asleep.

As weird as it was the girl they had just met with the wolf slept on the floor next to the wolf.

"Hey that tickles!" Rose chuckled as the swishing tail of the wolf brushed against Rose's feet. "Oy what are you doing sleeping on the floor? Your bed's just across the room... By the way, what's your name? I can't remember. Sorry I'm bad at remembering some stuff so indulge me."

"My name is Adriane and why is it so bad that I asked him something and he laughed?"

"Oh, Hi Adriane. Huh? Don't know what you're talking about. But you really sould sleep on the bed. It's softer than the floor. Well, goodnight everyone and sweet dreams!" Rose closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Moira shivered and started talking:'I dreamed about something that happened last summer..someone used 2 unforgivable curses on me and I never ever told anyone yet. Moira shivered again at the horrible thought.

By this time Filch had figured out that he was no longer needed and trudged off with his cat Mrs. Norris lagging close behind.

Though back inside the Audrey's stress had deminished. She handed her a bit of candy that had been slightly smushed within her bag from the train.
"Here,"she handed her the small chunk, "it's not much but you'll need it."
Changing her attention to the others, "Well come on. It's nearly morning anyways."

Bech went to her bed and tried to sleep but she couldn't. She was a bit exited of the schoolday, anyway it was the first... The night had been weird, she waits the lessons and she knows she will have "a show" with katty and the two Aikido sticks after school, because she have waited for their fights so long already, almost a week! And what is this all about those unforgiveable curses someone had used on Moira. These all things went around and around in her head and that's why she couldn't sleep. And then came the time to wake up and she hadn't sleep at all whole night. She sighed and started to dress up.

Toffee had flown into the girls' dormitories and given Rose a wake up call. He perched on her pillow and started nipping her ear. "Ouch! Yah yah I'm up I'm up...ok ok..." She pushed the owl away and rubbed her ear as she started to dress as well.

Moira was already dressed, wearing her fancy black schoolclothes, totally brand new. She was playing a lovely tune on the violin, she was really good at it. The song started really slow and sad, but suddenly the speed build up and it was amazing how fast she could play. She loved this, she got totally into her music like it was a part of her.

The dream suddenly got full of music. Katty woke up and opened her eyes.. The music didn't stop. She rose uo ti sitting-position on her bed and saw Moira playing her violin. Katty smiled. " I'm glad you're feeling better." She said and started dressing.

Adriane , already awake, once again muttered " Humans...".

Bech stayed on her bed without moving. So nice song, and Moira really was so good at playing violin! Sun shined inside from the opened window. Bech smiled, she loved sunshine and it looked like it would be a beautiful day today...

Moira ended the song and smiled at Katty. She put her violin back in the box. Too bad we ain't learning music here, it's everything to me. I like to be a professional musician playing violin or singing. In the irish wizardschool there were musicclasses, and at the end of the year I had to play alone in front of the whole school. It was dreadfully creepy but i enjoyed it. Oh well that's the past and one cannot keep lingering on that'Moira said in a dreamy way. 'What's our first class this morning?'she asked Katty

"McGonagall's" Rose said promptly. "We'd really better hurry or we'll be late." She shooed Toffee off to the owlery, snatched up her wand, and hurried off down the stairs, out the Gryffindor Common Room, and along the corridor to the Transfiguration classroom.

"Well I guess I should get going too..." adriane said then turned to the wolf." You know the way Moonshadow, can you take me there?" and with that the two left.

"Oh, no. Oh, no!!! I'm gonna be late, late late", Odain said while runnin'down the hall. "Oh, no!!! No, no, no, no, no", he said while panicking. "McGonagall's gonna be furious!!!"

Moira skipped down the stairs, holding her red wand. She giggled at the panicking boy passing by. 'Don't panic or you'll be even later!'she laughed.

As everyone came in the Transfiguration classroom they saw many other fellow Gryffindors smilling back. Just sitting down and talking. Then one of the girls came and started to talk a young boy. [edited by Wild~Fire] [remember no characters unless teachers that are originally from the books]

"Good not late this time"said Wolf(or Tona)

Then the doors to Transfiguration opened and Odian entered the classroom. "Oh, no...I'm late. I...I'm so sorry Proffessor."

From the desk in front, Rose said, "Don't worry, you're not late. The Professor is not even here yet." as she looked up from her transfiguration textbook and saw the boy called Odain hurrying hastily into the classroom. She then went back into reading her book, her glasses almost slipping off her nose.

"Oh, Thank God", Odian whisperes to himself while he quickly searches for a seat.

Moira quickly went inside the classroom and found an empty bench. She got out her transfiguration books. She looked around at all the different people and played a bit with her quill while waiting for McGonagall.

Rose looks at the empty seat beside her... since no one's going to sit there, might as well... she put her bag on the chair for convinience and went back to read the chapter on Tranfiguring Snuffboxes to Mice.

"Uhh... Can I...uhh...sit here," Odian asked to a girl who just put her bag on the seat next to her. When it comes to talking to girls, Odian is very shy. "I uhh...don't have another...place to sit."

Darragh stormed in the class dropping his books all over the place. 'damnid'he jelled, looking around if McGonagall was already in the class, relieved he didn't see her. He picked up his books and looked around the class for some place to sit. He noticed a pretty redhaired girl, smiled charmfully at her and said:'Could you give me the honor of sitting next you' He blinked.

Moira smiled and blushed. She covered her cheeks a bit with her long red hair, nobody would notice her shiny red cheeks then. 'Sur you can, nice to meet you by the way. I'm Moira and you?'she asked
Did this really really good looking boy actually like her? She was such a sucker for long dark hair.

'I'm Darragh and very nice to meet you too. You look Irish with your red hair and your name, are you?' Suddenly he noticed the tiny irish flag on her shoulder. 'Oh you are. Me too.But I live in wales since i was 9. You're the first Irish person it met here, where do you come from?'he asked curiously

Moira smiled. He was Irish!Could she be more lucky, the most good looking guy in class was irish!
'I'm from the west, connemara, i still live there but I can only get back in summer'

Audrey smiled as she moved her things so that Odian could sit down.

"Thanks. It's really nice of you," Odian said when sitting down.

Adriane suddenly came in with Moonshadow at her side, obviously talking to him, not noticing everyone staring at her. "-good idea grabbing a snack in the Forbidden Forest along the way. It felt so good to be back there!!"

Rose looked up at Odain, since Audrey had already moved her stuff for him, she looked down again still engrossed with the transformation of the snuffbox she was reading about. She looked at her watch. (Her Aunt bought it for her in a Muggle shop for her birthday present.) 5 minutes to McGonagall's lesson. She wondered if Mcgonagall would be late. She usually arrived 15 minutes before her lesson. What could be keeping her?

McGonagall finally came. She stood in front of class. "Sorry to be late. Now, take out your books please. And your wands."

There was a flurry of movement while most of the students searched for their books and wands.

McGonagall looked through her planner. "Where did we leave off yesterday?" she asked. She stopped and laughed at herself. "Oops! Pardon me. This is the first day. Sorry about that."

Rose looked at McGonagall curiously. This did not seem like McGonagall at all. McGonagall was strict, precise, to the point yet this stuttering teacher hardly seemed like the McGonagall she knew. Besides, McGonagall usually started her lessons with a lecture about hard work and determination and discipline. She continued to stare at the teacher through her small oval glasses.

McGonagall looked at Rose. "Have something you would like to share, Miss Fallon?"

Rose stood up, surprised. "Er..." she started, thinking of something to say. "Proffessor, I was wondering if our syllabus have changed, because I've heard some rumours about our newer, harder syllabus. Are we going to transfigure matchsticks into needles today or are we going to transfigure worms into pens?"

McGonagall stared at Rose. "I suggest you sit down, Miss Fallon. Im the teacher, not you."

"Oh yes, right, sorry." she sat down quickly. Fallon Su-Yin Rose, what were you doing getting scolded on the first day... She thought furiously. "Sorry Proffessor" she said again and prepared to pay attention to the lesson.

"Now. Let us begin. Have your wands ready please. We are going to change your frog into a bowl," McGonagall said.

Moira took her wand and still slightly blushing she waiting for further instructions. Changing a frog into a bowl, that would be a drama again.

Rose hastily flipped the pages of the book to look for that chapter, remembering vaguely whether she had read the chapter or not in the first place.

Bech opened her book too. She had come inside just in time, only a minute before McGonagall. Her wand was on her desk and she smiled to Katty who sat next to her. She was just trying to say katty sometihng but McGonagalls look made Bech silent again. She looked like she was reading the book but she was thinking sometihng what was very far from transfiguration...Actually she would have fallen asleep if they hadn't started practising then.

Katty was listening carefully every word Mcgonagall said about their practise for this lesson. The she poked Bech who was sitting right next to her.
" Wake up. Now isn't good time for day dreaming." She whispered when Mcgonagall was looking to other way.

Adriane was very good at this and other things but at the moment she was talking to Moonshadow,"No you may not eat it! We just ate remember?"But then under her breath to Moonshadow she said" But you might as well anyways, I dont see the point of doing this. Why anyone would turn a frog into a bowl is beyond me."

Odian got his books out of his bags and whispered to Audrey: "I uhh....I'm not to good at this, so will you please don't laugh if I do it wrong? I'm better in defencive arts".

Adriane bent down to Moonshadows head and whispered in his ear. Moon shadow suddenly went running out the door while Adriane worken on her toad.

Audrey let out a slight giggle so that McGonagall wouldn't hear. "That's alright. I'm terrible at potions. I'm surprised Proffessor Snape hasn't failed me yet. Anyways of course I'll help you along."
Audrey guided his hand as she showed him the proper hand motion and tried to clearly speak the words. It took her a few times of saying it to get it right but she managed to make a nearly perfect bowl from her frog. Smiling she urged Odian to try.

Finding the page on "Frog Transfiguration", Rose took out her wand tried to perform the spell. After a few tries, the only thing she'd manage to do is to give the frog a lot of poking. Fustrated, she analysed the pronounciation of the incantation properly, gave the frog a final jab and voila! The frog's a bowl.

Moonshadow suddenly burst in with a dead rabit in his mouth. He ran up to Adriane and gave her the rabbit.Adriane took it and hid under the desk and ate. When she came up again there wasnt a trace of blood anywhere,for Moonshadow had licked it off.

The doors to the class open and Alexia looks in nervously "um excuse me is this the griffendor class?" she says in a small shy voice.She had a bag on her back and her little wolf was near her feat.

"Oh no." Rose muttered. She tried to signal to Alexia that McGonagall's fuming behind her but stopped when she saw Mcgonagall glaring at her.

Alexia saw a girl trying to signal her but noticed she stopped. slowly she turned around and saw the teacher"Um um um it is then?"she says in a really small voice and shrinking back from the teacher.

Prefering not to witness the scene, Rose suddenly paid particular attention to the bowl in front of her.

McGonagall looked at Rose's bowl. Satisfied, she gave her 5 points to her house.

Rose got another frog and started perfecting the technique. This time her bowl was not green, but she managed to get it to have a floral pattern on it, and was quite delighted at her accomplishment.

McGonagall smiled. "Well done," she said, giving her another 5 points. She walked around to see how the others were doing.

Alexia ran over to a seat and sat down not knowing what to do.

"Where have you been, Alexia?" McGonagall asked, not very pleased.

Moira placed the frog in front of her, she shivered, frogs were so slimy and grose. 'Now stay still you loathsome thing' Moira got out her wand, nicely articulating she said the spell, pleasantly she watched the frog change. It turned to be black bowl with stars on it. She had practiced a lot on her transfiguration in summer. 'Much better now'she said, happily that the disgusting frog was away.

"Excellent," McGonagall said when she went by Moira's table.

"Err...", Odian sais as Audrey holds his hand with her warm hands. "I...I'll try". The he makes the hand motion, but it went terribly wrong. His frog became a love heart that sais: "I love you Audrey". Quickly he grabs the heart of the table and puts it in his bag. "hehe...uhm...Well, where did my frog go?"

Rose, witnessing the scene behind her, stiffled a giggle and pretended she hadn't seen anything. But when she caught Odain's eye, she winked at him to show him that she knew his secret.

Odian saw Rose and his head went beet red. He tried to say something, but then he saw Audrey next to him again so he didn't say anything except: "Professor? Do you have another frog?"

Rose passes a frog to him. "There you go." she said, and added quietly, "but you owe me." She gave him a sly smile and turned back to the new frog on her table.

"Thank you so much! You're a life saver", Odian said relieved. "Uhm...I would like to talk to you after class, if it's not to much trouble."

"Oh, no trouble at all." said Rose joyfully, as she prodded her frog and turned it into a seashell-patterned, squarish-shaped bowl.

"Thanks", Odian said. Okay, let's try again. He tried to do the hand motion good and the frog he got from Rose, turned into a green, slimey bowl with a head. "Oh, no..."

McGonagall showed Odian how to do it properly.

"Oh, so that's how it's done", Odian said while paying attention to McGonnagall's Tranfiguration. "Okay, I'll give it another try". The movement went good and Odian's frog finally became a good bowl. "YES!!! Finally!!!" He shouted out.

McGonagall smiled and gave him 5 points to his house.

Odian had to try his hardest not to shout again. With his jaws firmly on eachother, he said: "Thank you, Professor".

McGonagall nodded and went back to her desk to work on papers.

"Great job Odian! That's a tough spell too." Her face now slightly blushing she asked permission from Proffesor McGonnagal to be excused.

Darragh looked at his frog and tried to copy Moira in making it into a bowl. He swished his wand and mummbled the spell. His frog did turn into a bowl, but the bowl was green and alive and ribbiting all the way. 'oh oh that's not right'he said and looked desperately at moira. 'How did you make such a good bowl!help me please!'

McGonagall sighed and helped him.

Niamh giggled and whispered:'You need to articulate and your wrist movement is too stiff, pretend you're stirring in a bowl, you need a loose wrist.' There you go, that's much better Darragh.'she said smiling greatly at him

"sorry I was late proffeser this is my first year and I kinda got lost."Alexia says shyly to McGonagall"um what are we supposed to be doing?"Alexia asks looking around at the other students.

"Sit down please, Miss Alexia," she said, really annoyed.

"um yes professer!"Alexia looks around for a seat she can't see any.

Odian wanted to whisper something in Audrey's ear when Alexia came in the classroom, but he hhit het head with his while trying to whisper. "OUCH! oh sorry Audrey..." His head went beatred again and he tried to do like nothing happened.

"Stop! Now, I want an essay due Monday on the history of Transfiguration. Class dismissed." McGonagal transformed into her cat form and waited for the next class.

"uh?great"Alexia sighs and picks up Artemis her little wolf and starts to walk out with the rest of the kids."Now where are we going. Man this is so much more confusing then normal school."she looks around at the other students.

Audrey gathered her things and after exiting peered around to see any sight of Odian.

When getting up from his chair, as if nothing worse could happen, he tripped and fell on the floor in front of everyone. "Grr...why now?!" Odian whispered to himself as he lay on the floor. When he looked up, Audrey was gone. "Oh, no...Why does it allways have to be me to screw up with girls..."

"right now how do you get there?"says Alexia after she figures out the next class is Potions she sighs then sees a guy fall over on his face she runs over and asks"um are you okay?I uh say you fall and um wondered."she held out her hand to help Odian up.

"Phew, Thanks", Odian sais as he is help up by a girl. As he stands up, he notices that he is much larger than the young girl. "Hey, are you in your first year?"

"uh yea...do you know how to go to the next class?me and Artemis don't and I don't want another scene like the last one."says Alexia shyly.

Audrey seeing that he wasn't there drudged on towards the Great Hall. She had thought that Odian wanted to say something to her. She then whispered, "but.. who would ever like me." Seeing his smile float in her mind she held back a tear. "He can't. No." She then hurried on. Not even realizing that she had dropped a small book behind. A leather cover wrapping around it as a buckle seemed to hold it closed. On the front in gold lettering were two letters 'A.F' beside an inprint of the Gryffindor seal.

"Thanks a lot "Said Wolf to Audrey outta nowhere

"Hmm...What did I forget...", Odian askes himself. "AH! oh, no! not again! Uhh...Alexia, Find others from this house, I have to find someone!" Then he storms off and leaves Alexia standing alone. "Sorry!!!" He shouts from the distance. "Oh, no...Where is she...? Uhm...Uhm...Think, Odian! THINK!" He sais while he hits himself on the head. "Of course! The Great Hall! But...I'm so far away of The Great Hall...I have to make it!" Then he tries to run through all the people in the halls to get to The Great Hall.

Alexia sighs and says to artemis"well it looks like we are going to be late again huh Art."She sighs looking for other griffendors but doesn't see any. So she starts walking and opening doors asking if it was the right one but of course they weren't. So all Alexia could do was wander.

Wolf sits by herself and starts eating at hi-speed

Audrey huridly came in and sat down close to her. Feeling after a few moments that she was being rude Audrey turned around. "Hi Tona."

Adriane,acompianied by Moonshadow came over to them and sat down. Looking at the food she said to no one in particular "Is this what they eat here? Uh disgusting!".

Alexia finally found her way to the Great Hall seeing people she recognized she walked over and sat down a little bit away from them.

"Hello"Wolf said to Audrey "May I help you "she said to the others strill eating Hi-speed got to go to the library.

"uh er well do you know what class we have next and uh where it is?"says Alexia hesitantly. [Alexia...read timetable above]

Rose followed the crowd to the Great Hall, and sat at the Gryffindor table, next to the guy called Darragh. The plates started filling itself with food but she did not feel particularly hungry. However, she ate anyway.

"uh er never mind.."Alexia got up and went in search of the library.She found it really fast. she walked up and down the aisleslooking at the covers of books.

Realising she did not really have much appetite, Rose left the table and decided to go for a walk. She walked aimlessly for a while, then found herself back outside the Transfiguration classroom. She thought she'd go sit by the lake instead. Turning to leave, she accidentally kicked something... it was a small leather covered book. Someone must've dropped it. She picked it up and turned it to face upwards. Encrested in gold lettering were two letters 'A.F' beside an inprint of the Gryffindor seal. She pocketed the book and headed back to the Gryffindor table intending to return the book to its owner.

Moira sat down at the table, not really having an appitite. She took a piece of fruit and decided to have a walk outside, she didn't like being indoors the whole day.

Darragh saw Moira leave the table. Looking around as if nobody noticed him he slowly went after her. He kept a bit distant so she would not think he followed her or something. He pretended coming from a different direction and then waved at her smiling when she noticed him. 'Oh hi again, now that i see you, what's the next class I forgot.'he said smiling, his 'oh hi' making it kinda obvious he wasn't just accidentely passing by

Moira grinned happily and said:'Potions, my most hateful course, I really can't seem to please that nasty Snape. I really do my best but noooo, first of all he never says my name correct and then he goes and laughing at me.' Moira rolled her eyes and shook her waist length red hair, constantly flying before her eyes. 'Annoying hair, it's way to long'

On the way back to Gryffindor table, Rose spotted Moira and Darragh and went over to them not noticing she had just spoilt their moment. "Hey" she started. "uh do you guys know anyone with the initials A.F in Gryffindor? My mind doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment."

'Umm maybe it's Alexia or Adriane or something, you should ask people whose name start with A!'he said annoyed a bit.

"Ok if you do think of anyone, keep me informed ok?" with that, Rose left for the Great Hall.

When Rose had left he turned back to Moira knowing the moment was spoilt. 'Well I think you should never cut your hair, you have the most beautiful red hair I have ever seen, you don't see many beautiful redhaired girls.'he said smiling, knowing his flirting tricks were desperately lame.

Moira blushed again:'Thank you, i've saved a lot to get it this long, whole my life basically and it still doesn't stop growing, in 4 years it'll reach my ankles!'she sighed 
'Well maybe we should go to class now, I think lunch is over.'she said walking a bit to try and hide her blushing

Rose headed to the Great Hall with a heavy sigh. Can't even have a break peacefully nowadays wasted so much time... She searched her bag for her timetable to see what's the next lesson. "Urgh, Potions!" she checked her watch...Right, wrong way. She retraced her steps, and proceeded to the dungeons, where Potions was usually held with Snape. She met Moira and Darragh on the way again as she passed a few empty classrooms.

Audrey who had barely eaten any of her food slowly started gathering her things. "Now let's see.. Potions book, quills, parchment, diary, ...diary..." She stopped for a second from checking her bag. "Now I know I have my diary here somewhere..." she begins to viciously empty out her bag. "Where is it!" Her face now turning red with flustration. "I know I had it when I left Transfiguration.. The hall! I must have dropped it!" Hurridly she threw her items back into her bag knowing she'd surely be late for Potions.
