I am back on Elftown after a long, long time.

If there's still someone out there that used to be my friend, here's an update on my life.

I am getting a divorce. I was so unhappy with him that I didn't want to go home anymore. And when I was there, I had constant headaches, I was moody and I wanted to cry.

I fell in love with my best friend, [Weet-weet]. She is the best thing to ever happen in my life.

Finally, after we had our lot of stormy days and difficulties, we have earned this day: the first day of living together in our own place, that we can make truly ours, with no one else’s mark or intrusion.

We were sitting in the balcony with view on the Seine, enjoying the spring warmth - here at last -, smoking, leaning against each other’s shoulder, a peaceful moment before starting cleaning and unpacking. And I was thinking, this is a day to remember. It’s the first day of the rest of our lives, as the cliché goes, but this rest of our lives will be spent together. It’s the first day of our two lives merging.

I felt at peace, and I realized it was the first time I was imagining my future by someone’s side and I was expecting much more happiness than difficult times. And she is also the first lover that I see myself aging with, till the end of my time. It’s such a great feeling, when you see safety ahead and can finally trust the future will bring you peace and happiness and fullfilment.

I was leaning against the bookcase, open boxes and books spread at my feet as I took a break from arranging them to write the first entry about her. I have been looking for something to start my tumblr blog with — and the quietness of the flat, the spring light coming through the large windows, the muffled sound of her washing a wall, almost covered by the music - our music, the band we both love — all this build up to what feels quite much like happiness. And it inspired me to write, even if my words are still clumsy after the long writer’s block period.

Schumi, my sweet little furry Schumi, is dead.
Who's guilty of it? A surprisingly strong thunderstorm that made his little heart beat way too fast. I hold him in my palms, as he was trembling at all the noises outside, but he kept struggling to escape each time a thunder rolled and made him startle. I kept caressing him with my finger the way he liked to be caressed, until he started making weird noises, something between sneezing and puppy cry. Then he didn't move anymore. His poor heart had given up. He died in my hands. They're such sensitive, fearful animals that any shock or strong noise can provoke a heart attack.
I will miss you my little furrball... I will miss you so much.

I was having a very catchy dream this morning. I was at my gandma's house with my mother and sisters and lots of family. There was a vampire attacking the village, and then he came in our yard, grinning at us with his teeth dripping blood, and saying: "You think you can stand up against me, you poor little mortals?" I took the little baby that was with us in my arms, held her close, kissed her and put it in my grandmother's arms, and pushed her behind me so I can protect them. The vampire approached slowly with his evil grin while I was saying that the phoenix will surely appear and kill him*, and he laughed in my face. Then suddenly, there was a beautiful yellow and orange bird flying in circles above us, getting closer and closer, and I smiled triumphantly and showed it to the vampire. He turned to look at it, and the phoenix dived, aiming at his chest, and... drrrrriiiiiing!! the phone rang. Really insistently.
