Ah, a description? Well, I guess I could do that. I'm 18, 5'9-10"ish, 155lbs, and an avid reader. You wouldn't believe how fast I can read. I scared myself just recently in fact! I started reading a 800+ page book not too long ago that I had just bought that day, and when I finally went to sleep so that I could go to school the next day, I had finished half the book already. Dang.....
Ah, got sidetracked. I'm really curious about everything except biology. Don't know why life sciences got left out of my curiosity, but I don't like it. So that means I like just about anything. Computer, writing, english, math, earth+physical sciences, music, you name it, I would be willing to learn something about it. I focus on computer based stuff though. That doesn't limit my options, unfortunately. It just increases them.
However, I hate meaningless work. I absolutely hate having to do an a-load of work over a subject, when I already fully understand it. Which constitutes to me looking lazy. I'm not lazy, but I tend to not do that work at all. I can back up my statement that I don't need the work to learn the material with a perfect example: I never turned in or did my AP American History notes that we were supposed to do for every dang chapter. When test time came around, however, I honestly did better than ANYONE in the class on the tests. I got a "B" on a test once, and the rest of the time I generally got mid- to high-level "A" grades.
Also, another example of my exemplary test-taking and knowledge base was my ACT score. I got a 31, which pretty much automatically allows me admission to any college in-state along with at least some money, if not an outright full ride. I got the 31 the first time I took the test when I was in 10th grade.
Eat it, teachers.
Since I don't like doing that work, I use that time persuing my own interests. I have many going on right now, and I switch between them as I like. Writing stories (get to those later), building rpgs, working on music, reading massive sci-fi/fantasy epics, gaming, and anything else that interests me at the time. Whatever it might be, I like sticking a finger into it at least a little.
Personality? Well, I'm generally very laid-back, quiet, and bookish. I am the opposite of that in band, and that's about the only place nowadays. I'm their senior percussion section-leader
, so I have to be outgoing and assertive while helping everyone in the section. I'm called on to help with everything from understanding rythms, to reading keyboard notes, to tuning the timpanis. It can get stressfuf, but out concert contest just concluded with straight 1's (perfect performance, not 1st place, the contest isn't graded that way). I expect the rest of the remaining school year to be enjoyable in there.
Also, I own at video games, specifically FPS types. Seriously, if I know the controls of a game, I can kick any mid-level to mid/high-level players butt. I'm not saying I would stand a chance against people who play for tournament stuff or play the game all the time, but if you catch me in an online server, watch out! I have fun playing with friends at school, and online. It's all good either way. I only play for the fun of the game, after all. Besides FPS games, I like any genre besides sports. I absolutely abhor the whole sports genre. Bunch of lazy-a mediocre games. 'cept Wii-sports. That owns big in it's simplicity and fun-factor.

Little facts about ME
1. Well, you might not believe me, but I have no great liking for music. Before you go phht, hear me out. I *OWN* NO MUSIC CD'S. What few songs I have are on my computer, and those are nothing more than FF music and a few j-pop songs from various anime (Negi, Love Hina, and Chobits) I really just don't love it enough to spend great money on music.
{Edit}: As of this update, I now have over 20 gigs of music. BUT, I still have nothing normal I've bought. It's still nothing more than anime songs and game music, but now a whole heck of a lot more of it. The closer to syphony music it is, the more I like it! And somehow, I scored a free 30gig video iPod, so I put it all on there. However, my iPod gets more work as a external hard-drive, so usually I only have about 10 gigs of music stuff on it, and the rest of the space is used for mass storage.
2. This one you REALLY might not get. I absolutely HATE carbonated stuff. That means I hate cokes, sprite, sodas, ANYTHING like that. The only things I like are juices, milk, and water. And no alcohol, dang that stuff smells sick. Never tried it, try to never try it. Though I shouldn't say that. So, duh, that kinda leaves little but juice, milk, and water, since about 90% of the beverages (did I just say that?) people drink are carbonated, at least in this town. I think it's worse in other places. Yech!
3. Ummm, not surprising, I love manga, anime, and the whole Japanese culture. I wish to learn all that I am able about it, hopefully through first hand experience. Some day I will save up enough to live, or at least tour Japan, and finally see for myself what it's REALLY like. Otaku boy XD. Even though Otaku doesn't really have a good connotation.
{Edit} I'm probably going to go to Japan over the summer, as a senior trip. I'll go with an old childhood friend of mine, and we plan on staying at least a week and touring hopefully Tokyo, Kyoto, and maybe one other major city. Dang it's a lot of money, though.
4. Mega game nerd. I love the stuff, couldn't get enough of it. Mainly RPG's, and lately, the tactical RPG's have been fun. Go figure >_>.

5. Even bigger COMPUTER nerd. Oh, man, I want to know how to code c++, java, flash, HTML, PHP, FTP, you name it, I want to know. I am able to do decent HTML, for never taking a class and relying on picking it up from the various editors I downloaded. That's how I made my website, with constant expirimentation and built in code sets. I want to know MORE!!!
{Edit} Yeah, this knowledge started slipping, but I still know a bit. Thank goodness!
6. And finally, I have never drank alcohol, smoked (cig. or otherwise), nor ever done some kind of drug. I've been clean my entire life, amazing as it is for an 18 year old boy. I will NEVER do it unless forced bodily to do it. And I will try NOT to get into that kind of situation. Call me coward, whatever, speed-head, get your head out of the trash after a crash and say it's "Oh so good". I just don't see why you kind of people DO that to yourselves, YUCK!!!!
{Edit} I'm still completely clean, even with my 18th birthday having passed in January. You ever met a guy quite like me?
