Description:
Eyes
Diamonds and emeralds, rubies and pearls. All precious to lords and their little girls.
But why see knights fall for such a small token? For all that will remain, a shiny rock and hearts broken.
A jewel so precious as the life within, one that is greater than all that has ever been.
All can see the marvel except the one that beholds, its chance lost to see the dark blues, greens, and golds.
‘Tis true that beauty is the eye of the beholder. It changes naught even when he gets older.
Love is lost in this shimmer of a dream soon to be bound like a grain bag’s seam.
But, when the shiny rocks are lost and plundered, I will look into your eyes and hear my heart thunder.
Life Guider
Let nature be your teacher in loving, learning, and living. Let the wind carry you along the flow of its maze of never-ending paths. Clouds shape your dreams and daylight shows you the way. Darkness envelops the unknown secrets and shelters the worst of threatening evils. Let nature be your teacher, for it is the oldest and wisest of all elements in the universe.
Two sparrows hop through the branches, one in the pursuit of the other. A squirrel scurries up a tree trunk followed by another. Spring fill the air with love. Soon another generation will begin and the world will rejoice in sweet melody. Let nature be your teacher of love, for do we not call her mother?
A small baby bird falls on the ground, her nest high above in the tree. Her wings too feeble for flight, she lies there and calls for her mother. A squirrel buries a nut under a rock in the morning, but only bare dirt shows when he senses hunger and returns at dusk. Let nature be your teacher in learning, for if you try, try again, one day you will get it right.
A beaver gathers twigs and mud. Soon he will have built a castle on the water for his mate and babes. A woodpecker hammers away at a tree trunk with his strong beak. At the end of the day, he will duck out of the cold rain and into his treehole. Let nature be your teacher in living, for when the rain falls and lightning strikes, a roof over your head equals the importance of the warm sun on a cold day.
Let nature be your teacher in loving, learning, and living. Let the ocean current carry you to a different place in the journey of your life. The leaves of the trees make a bed of love for dreamers. Let nature be your teacher for it is the oldest and wisest of all elements in the universe.
The Princess
The Princess lit a candle in the middle of the night, to scare away the demons and things that caused her fright. But in the morning the light wasn’t there, Instead stood a knight who protected her and cared. Trust did not come easy from this maiden so fair And love was to complex to simply share. Give her heart away she dare not, But won it the knight did with all the battles he fought.
Batman
The darkness has fallen. All are safe and asleep in their beds. One faceless fear lingers in the deep black shadows of night, protecting the innocent and striking terror into the hearts and minds of evil. Though the Man of Steel rules the day, the Dark Knight guards the reign of the moon. A gargoyle of the building tops, a bat in the sky, and a wolf on the surface, he has no limits. He is only a man, like you and me, protecting what is left of the little hope Gotham has left.
