Tap. Tap. Tap. Crack. The crack grew wider and wider until, finally, the egg crashed open into many pieces. The tiny dragon squinted in the new world and bright light. She shook some shell off her head and began to gingerly crawl out of the shell. Her pretty blue scales and gold underbelly shined in the sun that filtered its way through the trees to the forest below. The baby dragon stretched its wings full out and twisted its head to stare at them. She shook off the slime and took off and flew up through the trees into a life of glorious dragons.

Her chin enlarged and her nose and fangs. A menacing growl escaped through her throat as her skin rippled in transformation. Her eyes glowed as she growled, "Scared yet?" She fiercely began to approach him. Jason edged backwards as she came ever nearer. He slipped on some dew wet stones and fell hard on his rumpus. She dropped to her hands as the transformation completed. What stood before Jason was a fully fledged wolf. Or more precisely, a werewolf.

The sun is setting. Everyone is locked inside because tonight is the night of the full moon. The streets are silent. The playgrounds are lonesome. Parents watch over their children in the night, afraid to blow out the candle. A werewolf calls out within the full moon light. Tomorrow all will be well, but tonight is the night of the full moon - the night of the werewolf...

The house showed its eeriness with darkened windows, creaky shutters, and ivy that twined around the walls. The puny boy stood in front of it with bullies deriding him. His insolent comment against their gang is what brought him here. With the thought “I don’t believe in specters” rattling around in him brain, he stepped into the darkness...

~How I Died~
“I jumped into the car that ventured towards the vortex. I had to take a circuitous route because of the debris. I grimaced, as we got closer to the tornado. ‘I shouldn’t have propounded this idea,’ I thought to myself as the car swept into the tornado. I was rigorously bounced around in the car, and thrown out of the car. Gladly, no one else died.”

~Rebellion in the Ranks~
He had been charged with insubordination, but the others couldn’t believe it. The officers tried to quell the riot. The man’s closest friend pulled out a handgun and began shooting in the air. The officers called for backup – it was urgent! A shot hit the judging officer in the chest, and he was rushed to the hospital. The shooter couldn’t bear what he had done. Anguish swept over his face as he was stripped of his rank and thrown into jail.

~Morally Right Decision~
There was a privilege to those who had registered for classes early to attend a banquet. The officials were trying to keep the rioters away who were saying that it was unconstitutional for them to exclude the other freshmen. This was a routine every year, but this year’s riot was the worst. The ruling stayed the same in hope that soon many would pick the morally right decision.
