2007-08-26 [Elmiira]: :D hehe.. but I still don't like it when people "use" the wide themes.. I don't mean anyone in this contest because they are all very well, but in many other ones.. Like when there is a theme like this, they just add any old photograph they like and make a long story and explain and explain to get it fit.. I know I've done it once or twice, but I regret it. It's stupid. That's the only bad thing in themes like this. But in any other way they are cool :D

I think that you are allowed to change the pic so many times you want as long as it is during the same day :)I would like to see the clear version of your pic. :) It's a good pic othervise :)

2007-08-26 [Elmiira]: I mean, even if you cannot change the focus, a photo has to be focused somewhere.. if everything is unfocused, then the focus is somewhere in the air where there is nothing to be focused. :) But I understand that it's something you cannot change or do anything about in your camera, which is bad :/

I just thought it would be a good subject because it can have many meanings. It could be as simple as taking a picture of a pattern on some clothing to something more complicated like behavior patterns or the patterns of nature. Ex...nature follows a pattern in changing seasons.
I hate to see you give up. You are extremely creative. I'm sure you can come up with something. :)

I know it is going to be a harder one and might not make a lot of sense. It is just one that came to me at the very beginning and stuck with me. You can interpret it any way you wish, but I thought it might less confusing if you knew where I was coming from. There is a song with the same name by Simon and Garfunkel that is extremely full of imagery and I found it really inspiring. 2009-05-08 [Cillamoon]: So to make everyone happy for the moment, I want you all to get the Black & White cravings you've been talking about OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM. lol. Thus today's theme, that way we can go on with other photography thoughts other than Black & Whites. As much as I love them, I don't want it to be a standard thing, black and whites only being done each time, we still have to keep things varied I think. Just wanted to explain my reasons for choosing the theme for today, enjoy it, I want to see amazing photo's from as many as possible! Have fun, I'm looking forward to it.
