Day 1
Once inside the club, where the music is blasting loudly, Jane turns to Edom. "Well I've gotta change. You're welcome to stick around and blow what little money you have." She's about to turn to leave, but pauses a moment. She leans in to say something low in Edom's ear, even though he could doubtless hear anything she said from across the room. "Listen... I might have an idea for catching Twilight. Not sure about some details yet, but I know it's not something either of us could do by ourselves. Would you be willing to help for half the bounty?"
Normally, Edom would be all over that offer like stink on poo. Half a bounty that size was twice as much as he could ever need, and two people on the job was four time better in his experience. Especially someone like Jane... she had good plans, and his back. The second counted for a lot. The fact that Edom actually hesitated showed something was up. But a moment later he was nodding. "Yeah. Flesh it out if you can, then call me up after work, lay what you have on me. You know I'll be up." Edom was mostly nocturnal, after all. "I have chores to run, though. I gotta bounce."
Almost as an afterthought, he dug a ten out of his pocket and gave it to Jane. "Cheer someone up a little for me," he grinned, a fang slipping past his lip. Then he was moving towards the door, waving to the bouncer as he passed. He was never fully sure what the bouncers here were... they smelled like a were something, but missing crucial pieces. Either way, they were huge. Then Edom was slipping out the door and heading down the street, torn between visiting the underground or downtown. ...it was still dangerous out, so Edom veered to the place Twilight was least likely to be targeting.
Jane takes the money and stuffs it in her purse, smiling at Edom as he leaves. She'll likely give the money back to him later, either by slipping it back into his pocket or by using it to buy a drink for him at the bar. It's sort an unspoken game they play. She waves to the bartender and the deejay as she heads to the back room to change. Her plan for capturing Twilight is a little fuzzy, but stripping is surprisingly meditative for her, so 4play may actually be the best place for her to work out the details.
A person walked in with an object not often seen in a strip club: a briefcase. He immediately headed to the corner. He was wearing a baseball cap advertising free mustache rides when he didn't have a mustache, a button-up shirt loose enough to hide a gun, and jeans. He also had a nervous habit of gnawing on his left thumbnail, which he was doing quite profusely as he sat. His face looked vaguely familiar, maybe in that way he had a general face, but maybe not.
A moon elf walks in through the doors, looking around at everyone, and then saying to the room with a grin, "Ladies." With all of the bills he recently earned in his hand, he seats himself down at the front of the stage, ready to have a good time. The slight fear of the Twilight vanished when he entered in the strip joint, reasoning to himself that the killer would probably kill in less populated areas, even though he killed right outside the bar. Looking around the room to see anyone he recognizes, he notices the man with the brief case but doesn't take to much interest. Looking at the stage, Lance waits for the next stripper.
After a few moments, Jane re-enters the club in her outfit for the night - a lacy pink bra and matching panties, covered by a see-through pink camisole. There are two snap buttons at the crotch of her panties that chafe her wonder-area slightly, but are necessary in the off chance some yutz spills his drink on her and her fin comes out. She walks surprisingly lightly in her large, see-through platform heels over to the manager. "Hi honey," she says in that almost-condesc
ending tone she's known and loved for. "Where do you need me at tonight?" She leans on the bar, giving any who are looking a nice view of her small, round ass.
Lance looks around at the same time Jane leans and looks at her small, round ass. While whistling, Lance clutches his heart like he's having a heart attack and calls out for her, "whoa baby, someone call the doctor I've died and gone to heaven."
A Brownie waitress dressed in a very strategic French maid outfit walked past just in time to hear that, and snort. "Da eighties called, dey want deir pick-up line back," she laughed, the sound like bells for all her thick accent. She was heading over to the corner with the stranger, noting that he wasn't giving the strippers money, so she might as well try and get something out of him. "What can I do ya fo', mistah?" she asked.
"Just wondering, is there a thin guy, balding, goes by the name of 'Garcias' here?" the stranger asked, almost hopefully. "Maybe in one of the back rooms."
"No, but we got fi'ty people heah with the name 'Smith,'" the waitress replied, rolling her eyes. "You gonna order someting?"
"...just a club soda." The waitress rolled her eyes and headed off, and the man took out a folder from the briefcase, flipping through it.
"What da hell?" the waitress said at the bar as she sidled up next to Jane. "Boy heah like he on business." She leaned up on the bar, looking over her place at him. "Funny place ta be havin' a business meetin'."
The manager tells Jane to stay in the front for now, and he'll let her know if he needs her in the full-nude room later.
Jane glances over her shoulder at the man with the briefcase. "Fuckin' freak," she says in agreement to the waitress. It's true that not many men meet for business in this place, but those who do... well, they tend to be more interesting clients. She walks toward the corner where he is, but sort of indirectly so as not to scare the guy. She watches the stripper currently dancing, pretending to enjoy the show - most customers like to think the dancers are all constantly turned on by their jobs and each other. Once she reaches the man's table, she casually takes a seat, crossing her legs. "Hey there," she says, still half-watching the stripper. "Meeting someone?"
The guy looked like he was about ready to have a heart attack when Jane sat down, almost slamming his folder shut. The font was too small to casually glance at and read, but it appeared to be terribly official. It might look like he was just avoiding eye contact to anybody else, but Jane was close enough to see him scanning the place, as if looking for somebody. "Ye--no, I'm not, but I'm keeping the table free, I'm sorry," he muttered, gaze dropping to his closed folder.
"Relax, honey," she replies in a condescending but gentle way. "I don't need to know why you're here or who you're meeting. I just wanted to let you know about our private rooms." She looks at him meaningfully. "They cost extra, but the experience is worth it, if you're looking for total privacy." She wonders if the man is getting the hint she's dropping him - that private rooms are perfect for secret meetings about sketchy topics. "When your friend gets here, you let me know if that's the sort of thing you would be into." She winks at him and smiles.
The man shook his head, gaze almost scared. "No," he murmured distantly. "No privacy. I can't be--" He looked up and apparently saw something that scared the crap out of him. "Oh fucking shit assmonkey," he swore, although it was almost like he was not used to swearing. "He sold me out."
Then he was off of the chair and hustling past Jane, darting through the crowd, out the door. Across the way, a few large, angry-looking men in fitted suits were going through the crowd, obviously looking for someone. Or something. One was heading over to Jane's table.
If the departing man hadn't been so utterly freaked out, he would have noticed the envelope he dropped that slipped almost totally under Jane's chair; the design had a fall that went almost totally to the floor. About a third was showing, having been stopped by bumping up against Jane's shoes.
Carmen turned sideways as she walked through the door to let the man pass. She scanned the room as she entered. The corner of her mouth quirked at the sight of so many suits in the strip club. Probably looking for someone; and none too conspicuously, she thought sarcastically. She took a seat at the bar. She tipped her red hat at the bar tender "Cape Cod," she said smoothly contemplating her new snatching ground.
Lance looked over to where Jane and the petrified man were when the man started to yell curses. Since he wasn't right next to the man he didn't feel threatened for his life but still made him wonder what caused him to run out of the strip joint as if the devil were after him. Getting up from his seat, the moon elf strode over to where Jane, though he didn't recognize her since she was wearing very little now. Standing near the table now, Lance leaned over and spoke to Jane without any hint of an insult, "Now you know hunny, you're supposed to make the customers relaxed, right?" All of this he said with a smile.
Jane slides her shoe over the exposed part of the envelope, covering it completely now. She turns her head over her shoulder to look up at Lance, and immediately recognizes him from earlier that night. Great, she thinks, remembering their less-than-sexy conversation. Before she can figure out a way to turn the situation around, she spies the men coming toward her table. "Plenty more where he came from, sugar," she replies to Lance, tilting her head in indication of the men.
Carmen paid little attention to the banter between the stripper and elf. She tipped her red hat low over her sunglasses she was still wearing inside. She didn't want to attract any unwanted attention... Well, as little attention as one could expect in a red trench coat and knee high black boots...
The large man that headed over to Jane's table stopped, drawing himself up. He was an impressive sight, a verifiable wall of muscle, more so when he drew his coat back to plant his fists on his hips, showing the edge of a gun holster. "Did you communicate with a man that just left?" he growled, his voice deep and booming. "It would behoove you to give us information as to his current location. He is a dangerous man."
Jane thinks about standing, but doesn't think she could without moving her foot and exposing the envelope, so she just stays seated. She responds to the man over her shoulder, acting disinterested. "Honey, I can tell you where he's not going. If little ol' me could give him the jitters, I'm pretty sure our back room would kill him." She hopes this guy is ready to buy into the stereotype that all strippers are either dumb or so doped up they can't remember what feelings feel like. She's really not in the mood for an interrogation, and her set of songs is about to start.
The guy's fingers flexed, and for a second it seemed to be on the verge of something a little more serious than a few questions. Suddenly he seemed exactly the type to gun down a whole strip club... or shoot a stripper in the foot if it would help jog her memory.
But the other came up behind, rested a large hand on the other's shoulder, and murmured something inaudible. The first nodded, then turned back to Jane. "If you see him again, call the cops," he growled. "He's a wanted man." With that, he turned on his heel and left, the two exiting the doors, pulling out cellphones on their way out... obviously continuing the hunt.
Throughout the entire encounter, Lance was on the verge of using his innate abilities to turn invisible, just in case things got a bit rough. Not really one to be chivalrous, he just stood there listening intently during the whole banter. Afterwards he just shrugged it off and turned to Jane. "What the hell was that all about?"
Jane reaches down to adjust the strap of her shoe. She stealthily snatches the envelope, folds it in half and stuffs it into her bra. She straightens back up and stands, turning to face Lance and leaning sexily on the table behind her. "It was about how lonely the stage will be without you sitting up front, babe." Her tone is more sarcastic than cheesy. "Now if you'll be so kind as to step aside, I'm up next." She winks at him as she passes, heading quickly to the backroom to stash the envelope before anyone sees.
The envelope peeked Carmen's interest momentarily. What was peeking her interest was the elf. He was looking more and more familiar the more she watched him. Maybe it was time to make herself a little more available. Carmen undid the belt around her jacket and undid the first button, revealing a thin black dress beneath. She crossed her legs and looked seductively in the elf's direction. Even with the sunglasses on.
Lance knew it was just a line to get his attention, especially from his wallet, but Jane was good and the line worked. Looking over briefly at where Carmen was, the moon elf saw her seduction and without a second thought he smiled at her. Normally Lance would go over and flirt for a bit, but it was Jane that was going to strip, not Carmen. Never hurt to flirt a bit more though, Lance thought to himself, and with that he threw a wink at Carmen. Sitting down in the front of the stage, the moon elf got out some money to enjoy the entertainment.
Jane throws a signal at the manager indicating she needs to use the restroom. He gives her a dirty look and throws her back one indicating she needs to hurry the fuck up because she's up next. She winks at him, and the only thing that stops him from firing her on the spot is that she's so damn good at her job. Once in the back room, Jane ducks inside a bathroom stall and pulls out the envelope. She vaguely remembers there being some way to open a sealed envelope without damaging it or leaving evidence that you've opened it, but she doesn't remember what that trick is so just rips it open. Oh well. If anyone asks, she'll just say it was like that when she found it.
Immediately, a photo, the size found in wallets, falls out: a profile of an older teenage boy. He's frowning at the camera and looks pretty solid for his age. In the sense that he could break your face with his skull and not care. Folded papers were also in the envelope, waiting to be open and read. They were about 'Project McGruff' and had the official Pierce United heading. If skimmed, it appeared to be human experimentation with genetic hybridization... but was very technical. Another report was included, titled a genetic test, and a sequence of nucleotides under a section labeled 'X-23' was circled, with a handwritten note to the side: "Emery-Dreifuss."
On the back of all the pieces of paper was written a single word, sloppily, in pencil: 'Twilight.' ...or maybe 'tuilyh.' It wasn't that neat, like the person had been in a hurry beyond belief, but it mostly looked like 'Twilight.'
Jane purses her lips. If this is what it appears to be, she talked to the right creeper today. She stuffs the materials back inside the envelope, then leaves the stall she's in. Then she walks over to her purse and puts the envelope in it. So many names and scientific things to look up later... Edom will be thrilled to have a study adventure with her. Talk about excitement.
She comes back out into the main room and approaches the stage just as her first song begins.
Carmen narrows her eyes when the elf doesn't approach. She might have to bolder with this one if she wanted information. Carmen sipped her drink and contemplated her next move. In the mean time she could enjoy the entertainment. The girl on stage was actually pretty, which was a change from the girls she usually saw at these seedy underground joints. A nice change from DC.
A well Dressed man by the casual and common name of Trey walks in the front entrance and looks around,"Heh, nice place to be after all the excitement at the bar."He thought to him self as he took a seat at a nearby table and motioned for a watriess.
The same brownie from the other table headed over, really only interested in the guy's dress in so much as it might get her a better tip. Or any money at all. "What can I do ya fo'?" she asked, tilting her head. Brownies had no eyelashes to flutter so she was at a distinct disadvantage.
Lance looked up at Jane as she approached the stage, "Hey there sweetie, I was beginning to think you weren't gunna show up." Pulling out a wad of bills, just so he'll get the most attention from Jane. Throwing Jane a wink, he waited for the dancing to start.
As Jane steps onto the stage, a cliche rock anthem begins to play. She starts her dance at the pole in the middle of the stage, facing Lance because he's already thrown some cash down. Her back to the pole, one hand grips it above her head while the other slides slowly down her body, from her neck to her knees, and she spreads her legs wide. About a minute into the song she artfully loses the camisole. She does a few basic tricks on the pole, using her legs to grip it and swing herself around - but she's clearly holding out her more impressive moves for the second song in her set. About halfway through the song she loses the bra, revealing her full, supple breasts. She spots Trey at a table and recognizes him from earlier that evening, but he's not the one dropping singles on her stage. The remainder of the song is spent on her knees a mere two feet in front of lance, caressing her breasts and shaking her ass. She licks her lips, almost daring him to touch her, but hoping he's not that stupid.
Throughout the entire time Lance was captivated by Jane's beauty and grace, not to mention her supple breasts. Constantly laying down bills for Jane, damn she is a good dancer, he kept thinking to himself while he smiled and winked back at Jane. The ending part of the song where she was just two feet in front of the moon elf was the best Lance had ever seen on a stage. The thief could honestly say Jane was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, though he did not realize she was a hunter. At the end of the song, Lance waved a few more bills, saying to Jane, "So hunny, when are you on next," all the while he wore a mischievous grin.
Trey smiled charmingly at the brownie watriess,"A burbon please, on the rocks if you will."He said as he glanced up at the stage and Jane up there and pulling out his wallet,"Make sure she gets this too hun."He added pulling out a few Hundred dollar bills."And this is for the drink and for your tip."He says pulling another Fifty out.
"If you can afford it, I can be on next in one of the private rooms." Jane collects the ones from the stage floor. "Just for you, babe." She winks at Lance and slowly stands, looking down at him from her giant heels. She exits the stage, bending down to pick up her bra and cami and giving the moon elf a hint at what's to come. Once off the stage, she puts the bra and cami back on and heads to the bar. She doesn't sit, but she leans against some open space next to Carmen. "Water," she says to the bartender, reaching over and finding a towel to wipe her face with. Those stage lights burn HOT.
"Yeah they do," a sun elf stripper said, passing by Jane. Elven girls sometimes had the annoying tendency to read minds, if they had the right gifts, but this one was obviously mostly useless. "Hey, Fish, I picked up your cellphone cuz I thought it was mine. My bad. Anyway, I took a message for you. No worries, just your typical breathing-hard stalker talking about his fairy. Didn't sound terribly important."
"A bourbon on th'rocks fer Mr. High-Rollah," the Brownie waitress said, slapping the fifty on the counter and distracting the elf from her current train of thought. "Make change fer me, sweetheart. My kid kin stay in preschool another month."
"Stay out of my shit, bitch," Jane replies to the elf girl. Her tone is more playful than harsh, and she's clearly not actually mad. However, she does briefly wonder if the stripper found anything else of hers in the back room... but pushes the thought out of her head before any details of what she found in the envelope come up. No need to let the elf in on that. She takes a sip of the ice water in front of her, enjoying the coolness of it. She glances at the fifty on the counter, then looks over her shoulder at Trey. Two men eager to spend their money tonight? At least some things were looking up.
Trey glances up as if he knows he is being looked at and smiles openly at Jane, his smile telling all that he is enjoying himself.
"You need a more original ringtone or phone if you don't want people thinkin' it's their's," the elf replied lightly, ignoring yet another client vying for Jane's attention. She really didn't sound like she had been digging in Jane's stuff, mostly because it was a well-known fact that she was a terrible liar. Some people were just too dumb for it. Turning to the Brownie, she said, "if you need my stilettos again I'll be in a back room," before she disappeared. The Brownie just shrugged and went to go deposit the drink in front of her big tipper tonight, smiled a pretty little smile, and offered her further services in a vaguely suggestive manner.
He arches and eyebrow at the Browine Waitress' accent and chuckles softly to himself."So, whos the dancer up there, If i may ask?"
"The current dancah on the stage is Ceci, she's kinda a bitch," the Brownie replied. "And the one befo' was Jane. She's aiight."
"Very sensual dancing tonight," Carmen said trying to get the stripper's attention. "Jane, right?" Carmen artfully slides a hundred from her pocket and towards Jane on the bar top. "I might enjoy a private performance later, if you're interested," Carmen purred seductively. Carmen knew intel opportunities when she saw them and no doubt this Jane had something juicy for her.
Jane smiles in an equally seductive manner. While there are currently three people vying for her attention right now, she probably likes Carmen the best. Clients are always more fun when they try to be seductive back - and especially so when they're good at it. She holds up the bill and says, "This here is enough to get you a private room. I'll make sure one is on hold for you, and you can have a waitress let me know when you require my services." She stuffs the bill in her garter and turns around, facing the club again. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to separate a fool from his money."
She takes a moment to consider - Lance or Trey? Lance just basically got his own personal show from her, so chances are high that he'll stick around for more even if he has to wait for her to make the rounds to other customers. So she walks over to Trey's table, throwing Lance a wink on the way over as a way to tell him she's not finished with him yet. She takes a seat next to Trey and says, "Enjoying the show, hon?"
Lance was enjoying the dancer on the stage now but it just wasn't the same when Jane was on it. Looking at the rest of his wad of money, he wondered how much longer he should stay before heading to his place. Normally he would be out and about looking for the next great robbery, but he just came back from a successful heist so no need to rush things until he got desperate. Looking back to where Jane was, he could see she went over to Trey. That didn't bother him to much, seeing how she was a stripper and mainly likes who has the most money at work, so why even start being jealous. Returning her wink with a look that expressed Well it was fun, will definitely come back, but I'll be leaving, and throwing her a wink right back. He motioned for a waitress to assist him, he wrote down on a hundred dollar bill, "Thanks for the dance sweetie," and headed out of the strip joint, heading through downtown to get to bed.
Trey nodded at her as he noticed lance leaving,"Auctually yes, suprisingly."He said."Normaly this kind of place really dosent intrest me. But something i saw eariler tonight made me think of a few more drinks and a show...so here I am."He added."So, did you enjoy yourself up there?"
Jane smirks. She's asked this question almost everyday. "Why? Does that turn you on? The idea of me creaming my panties while I strip for strangers?" She smiles at him so he knows she's just pushing his buttons and doesn't mean anything hostile by the question.
Carmen's eyes shift behind her sunglasses and she watches the elf walk out the door. She thought leaving and following him but decided to stay put get some intel from the stripper. He'll be back, Carmen thought. She supposed he was a regular; with his nonchalance and over friendly demeanor with Jane. Jane... Carmen glanced around the room to find Jane and saw her with a customer. Carmen held a fifty between two fingers and waved the brownie waitress over with it.
It was like holding up a steak in a pack of wolves. "Can Ah help ya?" the waitress said, at Carmen's side pretty freakin' quickly. Apparently everybody in this place was loaded tonight.
Trey returns the smirk with as much intensity,"Possibly, but I'm more attracted by money, arent you?"He asked, A wide smile upon his face."I have seen you hanging around another hunter at other locations...so tel me, Are you a hunter?"He asked, almost taunting or daring her to answer.
"I hang around a lot of people," Jane replies cooly. "I'm pretty popular." She really has no idea who he's talking about. It might be Edom, but she doesn't know if they guy even knows Edom, and certainly won't give up any info she has about herself or her vampire friend to a stranger. Not without getting paid, anyway. Which so far this guy isn't doing. She's becoming bored, and glances back over her shoulder toward Carmen, who currently has a fifty out and seems more than willing to spend her money.
"I should have a room resrved with Jane. I'm ready for her to... dance for me. Inform her for me." Carmen slipped the fifty into the waitress' apron and gave her a mischievous and sexy smile.
The waitress nodded, looking over to the manager, who held up three fingers. "Go into that room," the waitress said, pointing at a room whose door was thick, rich, dark purple curtains. "Jane'll meet ya dere." She was totally not impressed with Carmen's sex joke. But she acted like she was, giving Carmen a sultry look before sashaying off to talk with Jane.
Then she was heading over to Jane, seeing how Trey wasn't stuffing ones down her bra. "Hey, babe," she said, leaning over and talking into Jane's ear. "Yer othah payin' customah is gonna be in room three."
"Thanks hon," Jane says to the waitress. She turns back to Trey. "You'll have to excuse me now. Enjoy your night." With that she stands up and leaves the table, headed for the room with the dark purple curtain.
Trey nodded, rising as well,"I think I shall, good night."He said, walking out the door after leaving a hefty tip.
And that paid for a lot more time of nearly-free childcare. Long live big tippers! The Brownie was more than grinning, showing off delicate white teeth and prancing over to let a bouncer know that room three was going to be occupied.
Carmen took the chair in the center of the room. It was black, old and well used; the leather wearing thin and breaking in several places on the cushion. Carmen took her shades off and placed them into a inner pocket of her trench coat. She kept her hat and gloves on however. She didn't have to wait very long for Jane to arrive. Carmen could hear the clacking of her platforms on the cement floor of the bar. Now, what to do with the little thing? What to ask? Too bad that hypno-wizard kid she ran into after a heist was hiding out in Canada. Good kid too. He thought she was a damsel in distress being accosted by some thug. When really it was a cop in plan clothes just doing his job. He could be useful at times like these...
Jane steps into the room, closing the curtain behind her. The room itself is circular, with booth-like seating lining the wall and the solitary chair in the center, all made out of the same cracking leather material. With a group of customers in one room, Jane would typically take the center chair and perform for all of them at once, while solitary customers like Carmen usually took the center chair themselves and often wanted a lapdance. The mermaid approaches her client, stopping a mere foot away from her. "I'm obliged to point out the camera for you," she says, nodding with her head to indicate a smallish camcorder that hangs from the ceiling of the room, "and remind you that the no touching rule is still in effect. But those things don't pick up sound, so don't be afraid to tell me what you want." She smiles coyly and lifts her leg up, resting it against the back of Carmen's chair and giving the woman an up-close view of her shapely leg and everything attached to it. She runs her hand along the leg, stopping near her now-empty garter. "And tipping is encouraged, of course," she says.
Carmen flipped a hundred out from her sleeve and slipped it into Jane's garter. "I have some questions I want answered." She flipped another hundred out and waved it at the stripper. "I will pay graciously for both answers and the dance," Carmen looked Jane full in the face and gave her a seductive smile and a wink. "Give me your best..." Another hundred appeared in her other hand, "And I will give you mine, deal?"
Jane is intrigued, to say the least. And slightly tuned on. But she hides both emotions well. "Well then," she says, removing her raised foot in a swift motion and rotating on her planted foot. "Let's get down to business." She begins to gyrate her hips in time to the song, her ass ever so slightly above -not touching- Carmen's knees. She glances seductively at the woman over her shoulder. "First question?"
"Who is the elf who seems so fond of you? And what does he do that is so very lucrative?" Carmen slipped the hundreds into Jane's thong as she shook her ass just above her knees. This was definitely the most interesting and arousing interrogation session Carmen had ever had.
Jane considers for a moment. Carmen is probably talk about Lance, but the mermaid never actually got the guy's name. "Hon, I just met that kid tonight. Didn't get a name, but I can guess that he's Hunted." She's recalling his words against Laud the Badass from their first meeting. "And a bit of an asshat at that. But the kid seems to have developed a bit of a crush on me, so he'll likely be back another night. I could get that info for you and get back to you," she offers seductively, running a hand from her ankle to up over her breast.
Carmen follows the line that Jane traces with her hand from her ankle to her breast. Her chest was ample and her figure shapely. Carmen well liked the look of her. "I think that would be a suitable arrangement... One more thing. What can you tell me about this Twilight character? Any additional information you provide for me in the future will always be well paid for," Carmen purred. She held out three hundred dollars more and waited for Jane's response.
Jane spins around to face Carmen, removing her cami in the process. As she continues to dance, she replies, "I just know what's been on the news - that the psycho is killing Hunted for minor offenses, and his own bounty is worth more than pretty much all other bounties combined." She pauses, considering for a moment how much else she's willing to share with this woman. Typically she doesn't like telling customers about her other job because it sort of kills the mood. She removes her bra and drops it on the floor beside her, moving her hands up to fondle her breasts. The three hundreds in front of her offer a convincing argument to give the woman at least a little something more. "And I may also know of two Hunters planning to get the bounty on Twilight together. Split the winnings and all that."
Carmen cocked an eyebrow at the stripper. This was interesting information. But what to do with it... It wouldn't hurt to keep tabs on a threat. This Twilight character wasn't a potential threat, he was an absolute threat. "I would pay considerable sums to be included in tracking and potentially capturing Twilight." Carmen paused, adding "He is a hindrance in my line of work. Rather I would see him captured than myself beheaded." Carmen allowed that bit of information. Let the stripper think her hunted, it would serve her purpose and help conceal her other identity. "What can you tell me of these individuals? Bounce a little more, I like to watch you... jiggle..." Carmen's smile quirked and she drew out another two hundred dollars from her sleeve.
A new song starts, this one with a faster beat and heavier bass than the one before. Jane dancing accordingly, jiggling more now. "They're both... um... nonhuman," she takes a breath, pausing to consider how much she wants to share. Nonhuman Hunters? There are probably thousands. Mermaid Hunters? Probably less. She doesn't want this Hunted to know that she's a Hunter, not necessarily because she'd miss out on a bounty, but because a customer like this would probably be more profitable to have as a regular. But she's got to give the woman something. "One is a vampire." It's probably not as big of a deal if Carmen figures out who Edom is. Not like she's paying him to take off his clothes. "Both fairly experienced in Hunting." She lies on her back, legs in the air, and uses her stiletto heels to remove her panties, which are surprisingly stretchy. Her pubic hair is the same shade of blue as her hair, and waxed into a small strip just above her labia.
Carmen takes a moment to appreciate the view. She looks to Jane's face and her eyes narrow. "I thought I made myself clear that I would pay handsomely for information. The veiled answers are tiresome. If you would prefer I can take my business..." Carmen paused and pulled out a wad of cash, it filled her hand completely. As it should; she was holding several thousand dollars. "elsewhere. Give me aide, and complete and answers and you will have... compensation." Carmen smiled; it was a sinister smile. "Now, tell me, are we clear and agreed?" If Carmen couldn't pay for easy information she could always track the stripper and her hunting nonhuman friend. Carmen was fairly certain that Jane was the other hunter. No matter. Easy or hard, Carmen would get the intel she wanted.
"Edom," Jane blurts, trying to maintain her sexy pose without giving away her dismay at the prospect of potentially losing such a good client. "Edom is the name of the vampire. And I can take you to him. Tonight. When my shift is over." She sits up, spreading her legs as far as she can and lightly touching herself for Carmen's viewing pleasure, but only for a moment. That would be a different kind of show, after all. "Will you wait for me? It will only take a moment to get my things from the back."
Carmen's eyebrow cocked in amusement at the sudden change in the stripper's willingness to comply... That thought made Carmen's smile spread into a genuinely amused one. "Certainly. I'll be at the bar." Carmen stood and counted out five extra one hundred dollar bills. She dropped them on the chair in a neatly folded pile. Carmen walked towards the door pausing a moment next to the stripper. "Very pretty," she said looking down at Jane. Carmen drew her shades back over her eyes and walked out the door and back into the bar.
Jane takes a moment to put her clothes back on. Then she grabs the money and goes back into the bar, headed for the back room. She glances at the clock on the wall. A little early for her to end her shift now, but with the amount she's already gotten from Carmen it's probably worth it. There isn't a shortage of naked girls in 4play right now. In the back, she grabs her purse and takes out her phone. Since the sun elf picked up Edom's call earlier, there's no alert saying she missed the call. But since she's about to take this strange woman to the vampire, she decides it might be a good idea to return the call. She finds Edom in her contacts and hits SEND.
"... Um, not exactly. And I've sort of picked up a... friend, I guess. Someone who wants to help out with... wait, what's going on? Where are you?"
Jane blinks. Lots of info at once. She rolls her eyes and hangs up, unable to think of a sassy retort at the moment, and heads out of the back room. She quickly finds Carmen waiting at the bar. She approaches the sexy woman in red. "It seems we've got a bit of a ... situation. We'll have to hurry downtown."
Carmen laid a couple twenties on the bar and tipped er hat to the bar tender. "I'll drive." Carmen took long strides towards the door, letting Jane follow. She pulled open the door and walked into the cool night air. "I'm parked behind the bar." Carmen tilted her head, indicating to the alley way that lead to the back of the bar. "Stay here if you want. I'll bring the car around." With that, Carmen began to walk down the alley.
"The owner prefers that if we leave with a customer, it's not directly in front of the club. You know... so it doesn't't look like he's running a brothel." Jane follows Carmen to her car and gets in. She gives directions to Edom's apartment and the two head downtown.
