The Rottweiler is second in AKC registrations. That is, {not to mention} unregistered Rottweilers and mixed breeds. The Rottweiler is very popular breed and looked upon as a guard dog.
If you leave a dog in your back yard to scare people off with and so you can say "Yes I have a Rottweiler". Yet a different dog. What I am getting at is the Rottweiler is NOT FOR EVERYONE. Please read all the information on Rottweilers before considering a Rottweiler as your "Best Friend". Thank you!
Contrary to popular belief and maybe to the media's surprise the Rottweiler is not mean or even vicious. It is the owners that are mean and irresponsible. I say this because the Rottweiler is a dog that has to be trained. With any dog training is not optional! The Rottweiler is a Part of The Family Dog. It is not a leave in your back yard and neglect it dog. It loves to be around you, with you, and take part in family functions with you. It is a sleep in or beside your bed dog. Give you a kiss good night and greet you in the morning dog. I can only describe these as true emotions!
The Rottweiler is a dog that is based around the family. It is a family dog and should be treated as a part of the family. It is a dog that is not satisfied to sit there and get his head scratched. They will want to get in your lap and be petted and loved. If you are standing they will jump up and hug you. Like I said they show True emotions and Love. This is the side of the Rottweiler that is really and Truely the ROTTWEILER! As my page grows you will be able to read my Rottweiler Articles and see that it is not just me that has experienced the Love and devotion of the breed.
The Rottweiler is a very popular dog around the world. Especially in the United States. There are alot of them that are in need of rescue. Please consider these unfortunate ones because there are alot of good Rottweilers in shelters all across the United States. Some of my links have Rescue information in them. Please consider this. There are very good Rottweilers in shelters that were not given a chance. But you can help.
