Free Spirit

Few chains or bonds are lain upon this one,
The one's that are are by choice and not by force.
To wander freely from place to place,
It is oh so much fun!

With no chains of forced bondage,
One would think it would be delightful.
But reality is harsh and quite frightful.
This one rides itself with in sorrow's carrage.

This one has a hard life full of more woe than joy.
Always falling into the pitfalls at the end of the chain.
Then comes the sensation of pain.
Used by the master of the chain then tossed away like a child's toy.

Though they are as frail as a white rose,
They cannot be easily plucked without the thorns pricking you.
So this one is bound to them and you haven't a clue,
Of how much I suffer on account of your rouse.

When this one has broken free of your bonds you will know.
I'll be there with my hurt, and hate filled eyes set on you.
But nothing will happen to you, because this one isn't like you.
I'll be the nicer of the two and just walk away and forever in the opposite direction I will go.

For this one is free of you once again
And won't be bound to do what is best for you anymore.
No, no, this one will neither adore nor abhore,
This one is a free spirit once again.

A Walk Between Friends

Come and walk with me,
Walk with me, and by my side.
Never again will we be loenly.
In each other shall we confide.

Yes walk by my side I'd like that.
Walk with me and together side by side,
We'll never have to worry about lonelyness again.
It would be pleasent to have someone to share my woes with.

For the rest of time, 'til death we part,
We'll walk together, then in death the same can be said.
It's too much, if we part in death, for my heart.
I'd wait for you, i'd wait with the dead.

Don't worry together we shall always walk.
We will walk straight through this life and continue to walk in death.
You're right to never see you again it would be too much to bear.
I'd wait for you in death, I'd wait alone for you.

How long, how long has it been?
I can't remember how long this pleasent walk has lasted.
All I remember now is your warm grin.
You're still with me and that means my life isn't wasted.

How long you ask, why does it matter?
This pleasent walk has lasted for longer than we can remember.
All I need to remember is the comfort you offer.
As long as I'm with you I'll never be alone and nothing is for not.
