Physical description: Anselm is nearly twenty, but still has the appearance of not really being done growing. He's a moderate height, about 5'11", but thin enough to appear lanky and out of proportion. He clearly is not the physical sort, and judging from his fairly pale skin appears to be the type to sit either at the computer all day or in the shade reading books. Anselm's face is constantly sour and moody, rarely showing a smile. His black eyes are usually furrowed in concentration, or staring at nothing in particular. His black hair is unruly and tends to cover his whole forehead and sometimes run into his eyes. The general impression is that he once had it cut short but long since stopped caring about how it grew, and now is a mess that doesn't quite reach the top of his shoulders.

Anselm is usually slouched or hunched over and wears jeans and loose turtlenecks, usually of a dark hue. His arms are fairly long, which he tries to obscure by hunching over or folding his arms in some way, giving the impression that he's curled up half the time. Anselm often appears to be sulky and miserable, wearing a constant frown and sometimes a dejected look.
