Name: Corinne Walton
Age: 19
Gender: female
Occupation: bike messenger
Hometown: Derkos
Personality: The first thing anyone will notice about Corinne's personality is that she can be obscenely cheerful. While she has her sarcastic, even cynical moments, she is an eternal optimist at heart. Highly curious and very friendly, she occasionally tends to be very talkative, shooting off rapid-fire questions about whatever has caught her fancy. She is brazen, foolhardy, and prone to putting her foot in her mouth. Lady-like behaviour is not impossible for her, but it comes at a great effort and she would much rather skip 'all that troublesome etiquette stuff'. She has surmised that the time in her youth spent learning such things, along with chores, was a result of boredom; it is likely that she will try and glare to death anyone who dares to bring attention to the fact that she can embroider her own handkerchief.
Appearance: While she is fairly tall and lanky for a girl, especially one her age, Corinne is not especially noticeable in her outward appearance. She has short, messy, dirty blonde hair. This coupled with the lack of feminine delicacy in her facial features makes her, if anything, rather easy to mistake for a young boy, and her brown eyes are always twinkling in mischief. Although she has no special dislike towards skirts, her preferred wear still remains a combination of collared cotton shirts, slightly loose overalls and black working boots. She also carries with her the first functional pocket watch her eldest brother made at all times.
History: Born in the coastal industrial town of Derkos, Corinne has lived in the heart of machine development her whole life. Indeed, her family's house is only a couple of streets away from a clock factory. She never understood much in the way of technology, however; as a child, she was more into pranking the workers, especially her three older brothers, and when she entered her adolescent years, she made her mother teach her how to cook, sew, and tend to the house. Never one to stay still for very long, she soon abandoned her chores at home in favour of badgering her father, a shift supervisor at the factory, for even the most menial of tasks. At first she ran miscellaneous errands in different parts of the factory, but after a mishap that singed off most of her hair it was decided that she be recommended to a bike messenger company owned by an associate of her father's instead. While she grumbled at first, Corinne adapted to her new workplace perfectly well and has been employed there for nearly five years. It is, however, only lately that she has begun working full days.
Other: Ever since her accident, has been slightly spooked by fire. Being so attached to her family, it will be a bit of a trial for her to travel alone.
