THE NOBLE HOUSE OF DIKARA
Precious stones and stolen thrones vanish in a day
and your golden rings, your silver rings will crumble and decay.
Silks and satins and crimson velvet will someday fade away
but the stones will stand across the land and love will have its day.
Change will come to everyone, never question why
sticks and stones will break your bones and words will make you cry
the sun will shiver, the moon will crumble and vanish from the sky
but the hills remain, love's the same, love will never die.

Though fey are almost universally fond of poetry, members of House Dikara are known to be exeptionally adept at it. They have a large tradition for telling stories and poems of all kinds, and aynone who can't recite three sagas by heart is frowned upon. It is unknown wether this is the cause for their rather flaming passions or if it is a side-effect of this emotional flamboyantness
. They are also known for being equally passionate in most of their endeavors, though they do tend to be a little too romantic and idealistic. Most people think that this is because they fill their heads with too many fanciful tales of dashing heroes and the like.
A little explanation for the family tree below. It goes from the bottom and upwards. Two names joined by a line which leads to new names means that the two are parents of the names above.
The names with a black dot in front of them are the ones which actually belong to this house. The rest of them are merely related. The "m" in a circle mean that they were married, while a "+" signifies girl/boyfriends. The paranthesis behind each name is ease: Male or Female.
