Welcome, Elftownians, to the very centre of the Elftown wiki! ...at least in regards to all things Doctor Horrible. You may or may not find yourself asking yourself and your buddies "what is Dr. Horrible?" - and that's okay. Especially if you are asking that question in song. And this wiki will answer all your questions (eventually). But more importantly it is a space for people to gather together to share stuff about and around Dr. Horrrible.

So. Onto the definition of Dr. Horrible. It's a movie/musical (loose definition) called Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It was conceived and completed during the Writers' Strike (remember that?) by Joss Whedon et co, who basically got their mates together and decided to make a film outside the turmoil of the industrial action. The film is in three parts that were first published for free on the Internet, but the whole is now available on DVD too. It's a story about Doctor Horrible, who battles his arch-nemesis Captain Hammer in hopes of getting into the respected Evil League of Evil. There is no way I can do justice to the awesomeness that is this film, so I'll simply gently point you in the right direction in terms of seeing it for yourself, and then wait for your return.

You can watch the film on www.drhorrible.com (if you are USAian), or you can find Dr. Horrible on YouTube, or you can buy it, from iTunes or on DVD (Amazon has it), it's not expensive, and it supports this magnificent new approach to movie-making - y'know, if that's the kinda thing you'd want to do.
