Twilight World Descriptions
Grim lumbers to the entrance to his cave. Tired and bleeding from his last ambush, he plops down his "findings" at the gaping hole that forms the entrance to his home. Getting comfortable he begins to sift through it all. Most of it is simple: Food, drink, a few weapons and armor WAY to small for him to use. All in all nothing too grand. Then he pulled over another bag which was a bit more gruesome, he opened it up and out rolled seven severed heads all with a look of agonizing pain and horror permanently fixed on their faces. He gathered up a few spears, javelins, and pikes that he had laying around the cave and set the heads upon them and around the entrance to his cave. He figured that this was a better "No Trespassing" sign then anything. With that task done he returns to the inside of his cave to eat his meal and tend to his few wounds.
As Grim finished bandaging himself, a cold wind blew into his cave. Despising the cold he got up and set about getting some wood for a fire. It wasn't hard to find wood here for obvious reasons, and it wasn't hard for Grim to cut down any tree he wanted too within a 200 mile radius. Finding a tree that seemed to suit his needs he raised up his axe to fell the tree when he heard a twig snap. He froze instantly and listened for any other sound. A few seconds pass and he hears it again. Knowing that something was coming for him he quickly turned around to find himself partially surrounded by a few humans with large waited nets. Issuing a loud roar of a battle cry he charged forward. The action and roar was so loud that Grim had already butchered two of the men by the time they had recovered. Unfortunately for Grim the humans didn't fight fair, in mid swing he felt something prick his skin and soon after he began to feel sleepy and then the world blacked out. The men quickly threw the nets over him and began dragging him back to a wagon to take him to the
Neontopia Zoo.
Grim arrived back at his cave and stood in front of it, looking at Kikano he introduced to the location. "This home." He said proudly, taking good care to point out the heads on pikes.
Kikano jumped from Grim's shoulder and quickly trotted over to the heads, mewing quietly once in front of them. He tilted his head slightly before stretching his neck up and sniffing at the dried blood coating the bottom of the neck. He pulled back and sat down before them, his tail wrapping around his paws and his ears twitching gently. "So... You made these?" He mewed, his head shifting so that he could gaze at the large beast a little of two meters away. "They are very nice." He commented with a catty smile, his lips pulling over his canines and top teeth,. but this only lasted for a few seconds before he looked back at the heads.
Grim, obviously proud of his work, walks over to them and readjusts one of the pikes. "No things bother me now." He said, "this scare away all, they know me big and mean." He stopped for a moment as if thinking before adding. "You hungry?"
"Indubitably..
" He said with a nod, hurrying back to sit on the broad shoulder of Grim once more. "Undoubtedly hungry, my friend." He said once more, curling his tail around Grim's thick neck.
"Umm....ok." Grim said, confused at the big words. With Kikano on his shoulders he walks into his cave and shuffles around for some of the food that he got earlier. Once he found it he spread it out "Eat." He said.
Kikano licked his lips and smiled once more, steadily shifting from his cat form to his humanoid appearance whilst still on Grim's shoulder. His tail stayed wrapped around the neck, only elongating and thickening as to match his size. He smiled down at Grim innocently and jumped from his shoulder, quickly going for the food strew upon the table. With his pale fingers and his long canines, Kikano pulled several chunks of meat to his mouth and tore at it hungrily.
Grim smiled at Kikano as he tore into the food. "He eat like fellow orc." He thought as he sat down tiredly on the ground.
Kikano looked curiously to the green giant and tilted his head. "You're not eating?" He pulled away from the table, some food still in his grasp, and hurried over to Grim. "Come on, eat!" He said rather happily... he seemed like a little kid..
"Me already eat, not yet hungry again. You enjoy food for yourself." Grim said gently pushing the boy back to the table.
Kikano nodded gently and smiled. "Alright..." After he was done eating he went back to Grim, sitting down beside him and licking his clawed hands. "What kind of meat was that?" He asked, yawning into the air and curling up beside the Orc's thigh.
"Me not sure." Grim said honestly, "Me get it out of wagon that trespassed on my land."
"Heh.. Thief.." He muttered playfully, poking Grim's side and smiling. "So, how did they capture you? I mean, you're so big and strong, obviously, and humans captured you."
"Me no thief!" Grim exclaimed. "Me take as spoils of war." Then after bandaging his wounded pride he began to explain how he was captured. "Me went out to cut down tree for fire. While me out there they attack. I kill some, but they no fight fair and use something to make me go sleepy. Then when I wake up I was in the cage."
Kikano giggled in a girly way at his outburst, shutting up as he explained. He nodded during the small explanation, turning onto his back to stare up at Grim. "A poisonous dart, maybe..?" He asked himself. "Did it kind of feel like a small bee sting?"
Grim thought long and hard before answering with a simple "Yes.". He reached back and rubbed the spot on his neck where it hit him, "It feel like bee sting."
Kikano pushed himself up onto his knees and got behind the bigger male, pushing his hand away and examining the small mark with the small droplet of dried over blood. "Poisonous dart." He confirmed gently, wiping the blood away and sitting his bottom down onto his feet. "Nothing to worry about, though. Very moderate poisoning, enough only to knock somone of your size out for a little while." His ears perked up when he saw a female standing out near the severed heads on the pikes. He tilted his head and furrowed his brows, a bit confused. "Hm? Seems the pikes aren't working too much, Grim..."
The female looked into the living space, a moderate stare emanating from her eyes. She hardly had any emotion on her features, her hood pulled over her black and blonde hair. She looked back to the pikes and placed her hand on one of the heads, running her fingers through the tresses of hair gently. Her red wings were held close to her back as she stood there, her large purple eyes staring blankly down at the bloody heads. Her tail hung low as she did this, fascination overtaking her gross factor.
Grim looked towards the heads and saw the woman, a vicious sneer formed on his lips and in an instant he was on his feet axe in hand marching menacingly towards the woman. "GET THE HELL OF MY LAND!" he bellowed ferociously.
Female's purple eyes whipped up to stare at the bellowing orc, her hand dropping from the head's hair. She frowned lightly and lightly fluttered her retracted wings, her hair moving slightly from it. She tilted her head, a small smile replacing frown. "They are just so cool..." Her voice rather innocent as it came out.
Kikano followed after him, stopping a few feet away from the pikes. "Grim, what ever you do.. don't hurt her.. or try to kill her.." Was all he said, his eyes wide slightly.
Grim snorted at Kikano, but calmed down a bit. He walked up to the girl and, with much ease, lifted the woman up by the back of her collar. Lifting her up to his face he stared at her for a few minutes before saying, "What you want little girl?"
Her dark eyes trailed back to stare at his arm, and with little effort she wrapped her legs around his waist and stared back into his eyes. She liked having her feet firmly on the ground when she was not flying, otherwise she liked having them held to something, like his huge form. "I just happened upon your little home and saw your heads.. They are nice, I used to love making them."
"Hey!" Kikano said helplessly, making his way over to Grim and frowning slightly. "Grim, maybe you should try being a bit nicer?" He suggested, more pleading though.
Grim looks down at Kikano and lets out a snort of disagreement, "She not belong here. This my cave and my land." He then returns his attention to the girl. "Now, you need give me good reason to not add your head to group."
She looked down slightly, a seemingly sad look on her face. Before she knew it, though, her coat slipped from her form and she went falling to the ground. She yelped quietly and rubbed her head, releasing her legs from around Grim's waist. A few tears came from her eyes as she looked up at her black coat with ears on the hood, frowning and sniffling. "Owwie...."
Grim stared at the coat in his hands, then down to the girl that fell out of it. Curiously he sniffed the coat, then pulled away in disgust tossing it to the ground. "Me still waiting for reason?" He said fingering the blade of his axe.
She sat herself up and pulled her skirt back down over her legs and underwear, pushing herself back from Grim's large legs and straing up at him with her head still on her head. "Because I'm lost and have nowhere to go..." She finally said after a moment's hesitation.
Kikano walked up and stood next to Grim after grabbing the coat he had thrown. He looked over at Grim and sighed quietly, his ears drooping slightly.
Grim looked from Kikano to the girl and then back again before sighing defeatedly. Sitting down infront of the girl he leans forward and says "What your name?"
"My name is DaiMika Toko." She pulled her hand from her blonde hair and held it out to Grim, overing a hand shake. "And your's is Grim, as I heard him say. Nice to meet you, not so nice to slip from your grasp...." She blinked when she said this, looking at her coat in the cat's hands.
Grim examines her hand, and after not finding anything in it simply ignores it. "Where you from Daimika?"
DaiMika let out a type of "Oh" sounding sigh as she let her hand fall to her lap. She looked up when she was asked the quesiton of where she was from, frowning a bit. "A place where I will never be permitted to go again."
Kikano sat on his knees next to Grim and folded the coat in his lap gently, holding it gently. "Same place as me, Grim. You did not noticed her wings?"
"Ummm..." Grim says scratching his head. Then he points at Kikano, "Where you from?"
Kikano smiled and sighed quietly. "You forget things so easily, my friend. I am a fallen angel, so obviously I am from heaven. This lovely young lady is a fallen angel, and she is from heaven. He wings are drenched read to note this factor, mine aree only dipped red as my hair was transformed." He explained with a few hand gestures, finally handing the coat to the female.
She took the coat greatfully and slipped it around her form, her wings popping out through small holes in the back of it. "You're smart for a cat..." She said, nodding at his explination.
Grim faked understanding to spare himself more explanation. He got up and offered the girl a hand. "You hungry?"
DaiMika took the offered hand and pulled herself up, nodding softly at his question. "I'm starving!" She said enthusiastically, smiling sweetly at him.
Kikano sighed and stood himself up, turning on the heel of his boot and heading back to the shelter, his tail drooped to the ground, curling slightly at the end.
Grim pointed inside the cave "There food in there, help yourself."
"Thank you, Grim!" She said happily, pulling away from him and runing into the cave past Kikano.
Kikano stopped and perked his ears up, turning and looking back at Grim. "Coming Grim?"
Grim looked around before looking back. "No. Me stay out here for awhile."
"Sure?" Kikano sighed and rubbed the back of his head, shrugging slightly after a moment. "Alright..." He said after the pause, turning back around and heading into the cave. When he came in he noticed that she was already eating, stuffing her face which was now covered in cool blood from the meat and bread crumbs. He laughed quietly and placed his hands into his pockets, his ears laying flat slightly.
"This is so good! Where is Grim at?" DaiMika asked, her wings fluttering a bit. When she recieved the answer she nodded and went back to her food. When she was done eating she found a nice spot in the corner and curled up, shutting her eyes and going to sleep like she were a dog or a cat.
Kikano shook his head and walked over to her, sitting down right behind her and rubbing her back. "Sleep tight..." She whispeed down to her, his tail wrapping around his waist.
Grim plopped down in the middle of all the heads, the smell hasnt gotten bad enough to be noticed. He looked up at the clear sky trying to recognize the placing of the year so he will be able to find his tribe. He knew that those that came after him could just as well go after his tribesman and he had to warn them. He just had to decide whether or not to bring along Kikano and DaiMika or if it would be to dangerous.
After a little while Kikano came otu of the cave and made his way over to the orc, his tail wrapping around the thick neck of his. He let the tail drop as he sat down next to him. "What are you thinking about?"
Grim sighed loudly before answering, "I must warn tribe, if men come for me they might come for them. It dangerous though, and me not know if you and girl should come with."
"I see. Well, you do not need to worry about that descision because I am coming with you period.. I don't know about DaiMika... I don't know if she should come along.." Kikano said hesitantly, his ears drooping back against his head slightly as he rubbed the orc's arm softly.
Grim patted Kikanos small hand and sighing again. "I think she be ok if she comes with. She brave to stand up to me and not stink of fear. Me ask her." With that Grim stood up and went inside the cave.
"Me stay here." Kikano said, mimicking him playfully and laughing as he crossed his legs and laid back on the ground, his hands behind his head.
DaiMika's head popped up as she heard the loud footsteps coming towards her, her hand quickly slipping to her stoackings and pulling out a pair of twin daggers, holding them out towards the sillouette of the orc. When she realized it was only Grim and sighed and slid the daggers back into her striped stockings, laying herself back down and pulling her hood over her eyes slightly.
Grim didnt see the daggers and walked up to DaiMika and crouched next to her. Not sure if she is awake he nudges her with his finger, "You awake?"
The whole of her body tetered from his poke, a small chuckle finding its way out of her throat. "Yes, I am Grim." She said. She sat up and pulled her coat back down to cover her back, her hood pulling back up from her eyes in response. "What is it? Something bugging you?"
"Me need to warn tribe, but it dangerous and not know if it safe for you to come along." He paused for a moment before adding. "So you choose."
"I don't fear nor cowar from anything." She said simply, pausing as she let out a belch from her previous meal. She purred softly and wiped her mouth, her gaze finding it's way to Grim. "I'll go if you do not mind."
Grim nodded then stood fully up. "You need be ready soon then...few minutes." he then walked to the back and began gathering a few supplies.
"I am ready." She said simply, pushing herself up onto her feet and watching him. "Do you need any help? I'd be willing to get Kikano in here to help you."
Grim stood up and slung a bag over his shoulder. "No I got it." he said. As he walked past DiaMika and Kikano he added, "I hope you dont have too many problems with killing..cause we may have to."
Spellborn quickly hides behind a tree as he sees the Orc come out of the cave. He also notices that two other people are with him. "Hmmm." He thought, "Maybe I should follow them, wait till they are sleeping and then take him...that sounds like a good idea."
"Hn." She followed him out of the cave and looked over to the male lying on his back, a slight yawn escaping her mouth. She rubbed her eyes with her knuckles and stretched out, groaning softly.
Kikano sat himself up and looked back at the two, his tail wagging slightly. "Are we ready to go, then?" He quickly got up onto his hands and knees and began to shape shift, once done making his way to Grim and claweing his way up to the large shoulder.
"Yep, ready." Grim walked a few yards away from his cave and looked around. Something wasnt right, but he couldnt figure out what, shrugging he continued forward. Turning his head to face behind him to speak to Kikano and DiaMika, "We head toward main road, then walk near it for good "access" to stuff. Then we go for while then go back into forest. Then we find tribe...hopefully."
Kikano nodded from atop the orc's shoulder, a low purr of understandment coming from his chest. "Yes ole' leader."
DaiMika smiled innocently and skipped towards the two, noodding up at the larger being to her right."Yes, Grim. I hipe we find your tribe, how long have you been seperated from them?"
Grim looked as if he was in deep thought as he began counting on his fingers. Eventually Grim gave up and answered simply, "A long time. Me get real strong and become best warrior, so chieftain feel me threat and not trust or like me. So me leave to make him happy and to get to know myself."
"Well, did you get to know yourself or did you get to know some lady orcs?" She smirked, slipping her arm through his arm and his side and wrapping it slightly as if he were her escort, smiling up at him like she were a child.
"Grim know many an orc woman while he was with tribe, but not while he is in cave. Me not yet get to know self, not met spirit guide or any thing like dat." Looking at DiaMika and then at Kikano, "But maybe me find spirit guide, and get two for my wait."
Kikano smiled and pawed the large shoulder he was sittign on softly, his ears drooping slightly from the smile. "Well, you certainly got to used to be spirits, I guess that is good enough."
"Yeah, what Kikano said. You have a kitty and me, we're good enough to be any ole' spirit guide." She giggled lightly and looked around into the trees slowly.
Grim smiled and nodded. "Yes..I guess you two have to do." He said jokingly. Walking awhile the road came in sight and Grim stopped. "We set up camp here for while. Wait till supplies come to us then we head on."
"Supplies as in food?" DaiMika asked softly. "Oh, and by the wai, you both can call me Dai if you wish." The female gestured softly, releasing Grim's arm and finding a log to sit on.
"What ever the wagons carry." Grim said off-handedly.
"Oh, I see. Well, you might as well take a seat, Grim, dear." She said, crossing her legs and rocking back and forth happily.
Kikano yawned up into the air and laid down on the large shoulder, curling up as if her were on a bed.
Grim plopped down on the ground laying his axe and stuff on the ground next to him. He then picked Kikano up off his shoulder and with a "Sorry." set him on the ground. Then Grim layed over on his side with his ear to the ground and froze.
The cat shook his head and trotted a little ways off to a stump, his ears twitching as he listened for the sounds of carts carrying supplies. His tail wrapped around his flanks before he let out a yawn and stretching out his body, his form curling up on the stump and his head snugglling into his paws. His wings curled up over his back in a sort of blanket of feathers.
Dai looked up from her spot on the log and watched Grim, a slight tilt of the head making her bangs ruffle to the side. "Hm.." She turned her attention back to the cat and smiled softly. "Aw, cute."
Grim lifted his head up a bit to look, giving a grunt of agreement before returning his head to the ground.
Dai laughed softly and stood up, making her way over to the orc. She stood a few feet away from him and held her hands behind her back, cuffing them with each other. She smiled softly at him. "Do you hear anything?"
Grim looked up at Dai, "Well, for few seconds me hear nothing but little girl walk." He then put his ear back to the ground, "But now me thinks I hear a creaky cart and some hoofs on ground...could just be mole though."
"Little?" She questioned, whimpering softly. "Fine, we'll go with little seeing as you are a behemoth beast..." She mumbled out harshly, not liking any variations of the word tiny describing her... She knew she was small.
Grim didnt hear what Dia had said as he was focusing entirely on the sounds coming down the road. He knew that is was a few carts and horses, and about 10-15 men. He got up and got his axe ready before turning to Dia and Kikano, "They coming now, be ready and no attack till me charge in. If you get in trouble yell and me come to help."
Kikano laughed softly at this, his wings coming out of the back of his form once more, he looked like a Chimera when he did this and it sometimes scared people. "Yes, Dai, if you need help call for Grim, okay sweetheart?" He taunted lightly, purring in amusement.
Dai grumbled something out as she walked over to Kikano, her daggers already withdrawn from her stoackings. She stabbed one into the stump Kikano was sitting on, grazing the skin right between his claws. "I really would not like to hurt you, kitty boy, but I will if you continue your taunting."
Grim grumbled as he lifted the two and set them next to him on opposite sides. "Save fight for them." He said ashe pointed at the oncoming convoy. He hunkered down and hid as the convoy started to pass. When the middle of the convoy was presented, Grim lept out with a ear shattering battle cry and attacked. Before they had time to react Grim had already cut down 3 of them, now in four pieces, and was moving on the rest of the defenders.
Kikano flew at the men with a low grumbling coming from his chest, easily hoping from one to the other's head or shoulder and clawing out their throats with his surprisingly strong and deadly claws.
Dai jumped at one of the men coming up to attack Grim from behind, appearing infront of him in the blink of and eye amd slashing his throat and pushing him back within a mere three seconds. She loved killing people, it was fun to her.
Grim was lost in a haze of blood as he just swung his axe at anything moving, as an unfortunate horse found out. Two men came at him from his side, he cut down the first one the lifted the other off the ground by his head and flung him into a tree, impalling him upon a branch, the blood quickly turning the moss on that part of the tree red.
Unfortunately, Kikano was upon that horse that Grim had so abruptly slaughtered and had lost a bit of his tail. He screeched in pain and did what his instincts told him to do, swat at the attacker and sort of retreat back against something that would make him look smaller.
Dai saw this and simply laughed, quickly turning and killing off the last of the men with her quick blades. She let out a small sigh and wiped off a bit of blood from her face, humming to herself as if nothing had just happened.
Breathing heavily and holding onto a large cut on his left arm he looked around at the blood and gore covered ground, making sure that no one was moving. Satisfied a sudden thought struck him and he turned around to see if Dia and Kikano where ok. He saw Dia, but not Kikano. "Where Kikano!?!" he asked Dia.
"You amputated a part of his tail and so he hid in a hollow log." She said, gesturing up to the log she had been sitting on earlier before the massacre.
A huge wave of guilt and fear ran through Grim. He didnt know what amputated meant, but he knew that it couldnt be good. So he walked over to the log, not looking in he said, "You ok?"
Having been licking up the continuous flow of blood from his snipped tail, Kikano poked his blood soaked muzzle out from the log and looked up at Grim, nodding a bit. "Just peachy." He said in raspy voice, quickly withdrawing back into the wood and licking at his wound again.
"How bad I hurt you?" Grim asked while pulling out a cloth from inside their bag and tearing it into bandages.
Kikano sighed softly and walked out of the log, his tail missing a good three inches from it. "I'm fine, really.. It's just a lot of blood.." He said, smiling up at the orc.
"Here, let me fix." Grim walked over to Kikano's tail and gently lifted it. Checking out the wound he wrapped a bandage around it, tightly Grim had lots of experience bandaging wounds so he knew what he was doing. "This be good for now, need clean it at next creek."
"I'm fine.. Don't worry about it, honest." He said, slowly clawing his way up Grim's side and curling up on the Unicorn skull shoulder piece. He purred quietly and let his tail hang about the horn of the skull.
"Me have to worry." Grim said, "Me hurt you and me sorry, me be more careful next time. Me promise."
Spellborn watched slack-jawed as the Orc and his two helpers quickly took out the caravan guards. "Wow." He thought, "Maybe this is going to be harder then I thought."
"Please, Grim. Do not worry, please? It is nothing.. I have been through worse." He smiled a bit and licked the orc's neck before nuzzling his head back into his paws.
"Ok, me stop worrying...for now." Grim said as he looked around. He had a feeling that they were being watched, but couldnt see anyone. "We need to search the wagons for supplies and move on."
Kikano shifted on his shoulder and found his legs wrapped around his neck and hang down before his chest and stomach. He gave a soft sigh and placed his hands on Grim's head, pushing himself up and over him to land on the ground. He walked over to the wagons and began to rummage through one of them, mumbling quietly to himself.
Dai looked around at the slaughtered bodies until she found what she wanted and what she was searching for. She found a few keys around a few of their neck or on their belts and pulled them from their bodies. "Look for some chests." She said to Grim and Kikano.
Grim looks at Dai confused, "Food not be in chests. Why we look in there. " He said as he was stuffing some bread and cheese into their bag.
Kikano pushed a few bags out of the way of a chest and tossed it over to Dai, muttering something under his breath as he began to rummage through the sacks. He pulled out a bit of food and walked it over to Grim, holding it in his arms and smiling up at him. "Here you go."
"You never know what may be in them, Grim. Gold, sacred scrolls, ancient text... Stuff like that, my sweet. I may be a small little chicky on the outside, but on the inside I am a collector. I love collecting rare things." She unlocked the chest and rummaged through it, tossing cloth out of it and to the ground in disinterest. "Meh, poor little peasants..." She mumbled.
"Thank you Kikano." Grim said as he took the food. He then turned to Dia, "If you want dat stuff then you can carry it."
"Aw! You're not gonna offer to help a lady carry her luggage?!" Dai sniffled out, puckering her lower lip and giving him puppy dog eyes. She forced tears to her eyes, something fairly easy for her, and sniffled quietly.
Kikano nodded and jumped back up onto his shoulders, shifting forms once more and resting back down on the Unicorn skull. When he heard her whimpering he could not help but coo out and make an Aww!.
"No." Grim said plainly. "That not what we need. It extra, you carry your own extra stuff."
"Mean old orc." Dai sighed and smacked him with the back of her hand gently on the side and rubbing the back of her head. "Well, there was nothing here, so I guess we can go now."
Grim just grunts before looking around again. He still had that feeling as though he was being watched, but he couldnt see anyone. Satisfied with the amount of supplies they had gathered he looked up at the sky to get their direction then headed off into the woods, following the road.
"Wake me up if you need me Grim?" Kikano asked before curling up a bit tighter on the armored shoulder and purring softly.
Grim reached up and patted Kikano, "I wake you if I need you." Grim said, "This will be long trip."
"Alright, I'll talk to you later."
"Hey, Grim? How long will this little journey take? I mean, no rush, I guess I was really asking how far is our destination?" Dai asked curiously, poking at her lips and following along behind Grim quickly.
"The place we going to many many miles away." Grim said looking behind him. "That only if they not moved yet."
"Then it will be further?" She shook her head and smiled, grabbing the sack that he held in his hands and smiled up at him. "I'll carry this, okay?"
"Um...ok." Grim said confused, "But no eat anything till we stop for dinner."
"Do I look fat or something? Do I look like an orc? I don't have a big appetite like you or your fellow orcs, so you will not have to worry about it. I probably will not even eat dinner." She slung the sack over her shoulder.
"Me not say that!" He said quickly and defensivly, "Me only make sure we have enough for trip."
"Geez, you're a mean old man..." She snorted, turning her nose up at him and placing her hand on her flat belly.
"You just crazy thats it." Grim snorted in response.
"You just don't know how to speak to a lady, hell, you should pick up some manners from that feline on your shoulder... Even a toad knows how to speak to a lady."
Grim laughed loudly at this. "Frogs no speak! They only make funny noise. See that prove you crazy!"
"It's merely a figure of speech I picked up from my mother, idiot. And you a so narrow-minded, imagine the possibilities in this world, hell, there could be fallens just like Kikano out there who are toads." Dai countered rasther stiffly.
"No need to call names crazy person." Grim said, now amused with this whole conversation.
"Ah, but crazy for a reason, ne?" She pushed her crimson wings out from her jacket and smacked him in the shoulder with one, smirking at him.
Grim looked at her with mock seriousness. "You really want to get into pushing match with me?"
"It wouldn't be a match, I can take you." Dai squared her chin and grinned menacingly up at him, batting him once more with her wing.
"HA!" he said loudly, "Maybe if me tied up, deafend, gagged, blinded, with both arms and legs cut off, and if I was only 3 years old."
"You think way too highly of yourself, you know that? Men, no matter what species they are they are arrogant through and through." She let out a sigh and shook her head, batting him once more with her wing to provoke him.
"Me not think highly of meself. Me know that me stronger then you. I mean....look at me." He said as he gestured at his arm and leg muscles.
"Muscle mass and body build mean not." She said simply, reaching her hand up to brush her blonde bangs from her eyes.
"No it go muscle mass and body build mean lot." Grim said smiling.
"Ignorant male mind. Well, either way, strength is not in muscle it is in stamina and duribility." She bumped her hip against his thigh and smiled up at him.
"Then what makes strength?" Grim asked.
"Your endurance, you descipline, dexterity, stamina, will power, heart, et cetera. It's just natural that thinking beings relate strength with muscles, no."
"Me never taught that way. Me prove strength through battles and trials of my people. We only show those other things towards our fellow orcs."
"Everyone is taught differently, I suppose. I'll let your egotistical male mind slide just this once, mkay, Grim?" Dai pulled her hood snuggly over her head and let out a silent yawn.
"Oh, thank you." Grim said sarcastically. He just shook his head and moved on down the road.
"Don't underestimate me, love."
