Halloween Costume Competition

Please read the [#RULES] before entering!

Rules:

1. Costumes must have been put together and designed by YOU. No store-bought, rentals or otherwise pre-made costumes are not allowed. A heavily modified pre-made costume may be allowed if the moderator thinks significant and sufficient alterations have been made. This will be decided on a case-to-case basis. A costume will be considered designed by you if it is either sewn by you, or made using modified versions of other clothes: Knick-knacks from one store, a mask from another, a shirt here, some tape there, spray painting something and taping it together to turn it into something completely new. That's originality! And that's what this competition is all about.

2. Each member may submit two (2) entries.

3. Maximum three (3) photos per entry. They must all be of the same costume.

4. Entry must be uploaded to Elftown. To upload your image full-size you can use the feature 'Upload a folder of images' that is shown on your house.
This feature allows you to upload one, multiple images or zip-files in their original size to a wikipage.

5. Vote-mongering: Asking people to vote for you is not allowed. You may ask people to vote in the poll in general, but not specifically for you.

6. Queries: If you wish to discuss something about how the contest is run, or the rules, then please use the official contest forum: <forum:Elftown contests>! If you wish to bring up a query about whether a certain entry fits the theme, please speak up before the entries make it to the polls. You can still speak up even after the contest is closed, as long as the polls have not yet gone up yet. Complaints received after the aforementioned will not be considered valid. However, if you wish to query whether an entry is stolen art or breaks any other rules, you may still bring this up after the poll has been made.

2011-11-01 [Mortified Penguin]: If I wasn't already watching every page on Elftown, I probably never would have found this or any of the other Halloween contests.

2011-11-01 [Yuriona]: yeah... the EPRM new items hid the Halloween announcements. We only have 3 or 4 art entries atm and I think we're supposed to close it tonight. :/

2011-11-01 [Nioniel]: I made a news item reminding people about the competitions (even if it is almost too late for two of them). Fixed the note on the calendar too.

2011-11-01 [Yuriona]: I think considering how the Halloween competitions were buried by other stuff, we should extend the deadline on art and poetry to November 8 like costumes and photography.
