Méadhbh Aoibh:
Méadhbh is pronounced mæov & means 'intoxicating' or 'she who intoxicates'
Aoibh is pronounced eev & means 'beauty'
Aodh's guitar is a custom design by Guitar innovator Les Paul
and after Aodh requested her manufacture, he went on to make his famous Gibson Les Paul.
She is ofcourse a one of a kind!
she combines elements of the Acoustic, Steel and yet to be made Electric guitars,
but also some never to be duplicated faery magic designs
that enable Aodh to play her without an external electrical source or amplifier,
for she feeds off Aodh's own magic.
Aodh also refers to her as a living being, and she gets into almost as much trouble as him.
She is part of his soul.

2007-10-24 [Trist]: yeah, well, i sort of see why the LP cos of the curves. but gibson makes the flying V too. and les paul's major innovation was the hum-canceling pickup. i think he also put parts from a record player into his acoustic guitar when he was a kid to make it kinda electric.
so now why is it rediculously out of proportion?

2007-10-24 [moira hawthorne]: b/c the V didnt come till after this design... if this guitar is 'suppose to be' the before the first LP gibson... than its deisgn would be the same as the first LP... doesnt mean Aodh cant have a flying V as well... he has many instruments.. not just guitars... he is an immortal musician ... his first instrument was a hollow stick flute

2007-10-27 [Trist]: yeah ok, so then Les Paul made the body bigger and the neck the right length, and got bloody rich.

2007-10-27 [moira hawthorne]: this one is a bit small... tho the neck the correct length.. 2 feet for a LP... but instead of the body being 13" at its widest.. its only max 11" and with sanding and smoothing.. maybe it be abit smaller even... but that the widest piece of wood we could get.. and this isnt a real guitar... its a cosplay guitar

the body is just pine... the strings on this one are just being tiger tail beading wire... the pick ups are just balsam wood
