Teacher: This classroom is in need of a new teacher.

About 3000 years ago, King David came to Jerusalem. He had servants, priests, soldiers, subjects, and writers who wrote the history of the nation - The Bible. It was written in Hebrew. For about 2000 years, this language was not in use.
This day, the only country in which Hebrew is a formal language is Israel, but it is spoken once again. Of course, some changes took place, but anyone who knows modern Hebrew can read the ancient one. This is the Hebrew classroom, the place for you to learn a 3300 year old language.

2004-11-11 [IChester]: That's a great idea, but I want to have one or two more vocabulary lessons, so people would be able to write sentences :)

2004-11-11 [Sunrose]: Okay! *^^*

2004-11-11 [sprattel_dvaerg]: ichester, Hebrew Adjectives, but i dont know how to spell them :P

2004-11-12 [sprattel_dvaerg]: there is a missing space between the "-" and "verbs" in -Verbs :)

2004-11-12 [IChester]: Thanx

2004-11-22 [IChester]: I'm sorry I didn't put up lesson for a long time - I'm working on my driving licence now, so it takes all of my energy :) Tomorrow I have the final test, so wish me luck!

2004-11-22 [Sunrose]: Good luck!

2004-11-22 [sprattel_dvaerg]: Lycka till! as we say in sweden :)

2004-11-24 [IChester]: בהצלחה in hebrew... And I made it - I have a licence now :) I'm guessing I'll put up another lesson in a day or two...

2004-11-24 [sprattel_dvaerg]: Gratulerar! i would need to get myself a licence too, but ive been to lazy :/

2004-11-24 [Sunrose]: *pats* :D

2004-12-15 [cobi]: hey, Reut, do you need any help orginizing the lessons?

2004-12-15 [IChester]: Umm... not yet, actually, but I could use some ideas for practices :)

2004-12-18 [sprattel_dvaerg]: write a little story using the words you have used, so one can try practice reading skills. or a conversation to translate.. :) much easier when learning stuff in a context than just a word ripped out alone

2004-12-18 [IChester]: I know what you mean... I'll add a practice very soon. anyhow, i'm tired of making those verb lessons (it's a must - you can't build a sentence without a verb, and you can't use hebrew verbs without knowing how to conjunct the buildings, but still... It's boring...)

2004-12-19 [Wolfga]: Wow, this site looks really cool. I just joined up. ;)

2004-12-19 [IChester]: Welcome, Baruch Haba, ברוך הבא...

2004-12-30 [Ihsahn]: greetings ive just joined this class

2006-02-01 [Sunrose]: I wish there were more (present time!) verbs. And more like 'I am, he is, we are' (to be), can, do, go etc. Just the whole riddle present, past and future for verbs that are more commonly used..  and more greetings too... -whines- I can't make nice sentences, not even sentences that at least somehow have the right words :P

2006-02-01 [Sunrose]: I'm working on Yiddish words in Dutch..it needs some more organisation I guess =)

2006-06-21 [Cia_mar]: this is cool!
