This is the odd one out; the only painting I've done of a machine, and subsequently it is one of the last things I've painted before completely dedicating myself to drawing. I strangely like it very much, and one of the reasons it was the last one is because I wasn't able to reproduce the effect in the things I tried afterwards, so I left it at that. It reminds me of a heart, but that's pretty much all I can say about it - the good thing when doing a drawing is that it takes so long that I have more than plenty of time to think it all through and through, making the artwork an agent of thought, and not only a byproduct of it.
