International Internet Party Day

The 29th of December is the Internet International Party Day. The idea behind this is that to have a really nice party you have to actually meet people. But let's pretend that isn't true for this day only!

So when you wake up or what-ever you do at 0:00 GMT-11 you know it's time to find some people from the very east of Asia and the middle of the Pacific ocean to party with! Then it goes on until midnight on Hawaii.

So sit down and talk to people on the Internet! Everywhere about everything. It's OK to be drunk, to have had too much coffee, drank to much soft drinks, eaten too much or just meditated your head into pieces. This is the party day for you, your computer and anyone between you and your Internet connection is a threat to the new age...

So... You can do it as the English do and say "Cheers!" or you can do as many do and say "For your health!" or you can say as Swedes "Skål!" (Shut the fuck up and drink, damn it!).

Don't send any emails you'll regret, or... Maybe you should?

2007-12-30 [Paul Doyle]: Yeah, but when the nights are really long, and you're with the one you love (and maybe someone's watching the kids, if any) the sky's the limit. There are ways of thawing frosty windows, without turning up the thermostat. ;-)
