"Got it. And don't worry Knight 2," Jaxon told Cain as he ruffled Mizuki's hair. "I'll keep a close eye on your friends. In return, I ask that you keep an eye out for Liz... Don't need her getting in more trouble than she's worth." He smirked and looked back at Gwendolyn. "There probably is a cure. That's why I need to study the infected. I don't know how many scientists or doctors are out there, but I'm one of the best." For once in his life, Kells was being serious. "If anyone has hope of finding a way to end this, I do. Now keep an eye on the front door. I'm going to set up room establishments. Then we can all gather and figure out guard duty." He led the twins up the stairs.

Liz looked through the shop, picking up random items and smiling fondly at them. She noticed something in the corner of the garage... It was hidden under a tarp. She yanked it back and found an old truck sitting underneath. checking it over, Liz saw that it had a full tank of gas, the keys and a few red gallon bottles in the trunk. "Mm..."

Mizuki jumped, meeped, and hid behind Takumi who just shook his head.

"Thanks." Cain said as he set some of there stuff down. He turned to Takumi and whispered something to him in Japanese and watched him take off without or Mizuki. "I had him go set up traps around the permitor which I'll probably go help him with in a moment so he's not allow." He turned to Mizuki and and asked if he would be okay alone with the others and the younger by nodded shaking like a frightened child.

Lyra rolled her eyes and began humming faintly to calm down Mizuki's nerves.

Emily noticed that they lost all the infected that had been fallowing Rachel and her. "I hope they don't get hurt... Oh I... Uhh mean... LET'S get back to the others!" She quickly turned back towards the town where everyone else was at.

"Right." Rachel said with a nod as she followed after Emily.

Gwendolyn wondered when everyone was getting back to the base. Something in the air had shifted. The hair on her neck stood on edge and a chill shot real fast down her spine. "Everyone.." She said loudly. "Be on your highest guard. Something or someone is coming." She finished with a slight tremble in her voice.

001 looked down the street he was on and took note as a mini map popped up in his vision displaying local stores and life forms that were in his vicinity. As he walked down the street he changed his vision so that he could see through the walls and detect anything he may have missed on his initial check. He carefully noted movements of some of the other life forms and carried on down the road. As he approached the second block where the first life form was detected he noticed it was some form of auto shop and held no significance in his current objective.

Jaxon wrapped an awkward arm around Mizuki's shoulders. "No worries, kid." he spoke in the boy's native tongue. "I will protect you while they are gone." He gave a warm smile, trying to comfort him. He knew how scary waking up to this world was. He opened the door to a room, the spear in hand just in case. When it was all clear, he led Mizuki inside, sitting him on the bed.

Liz smiled at the truck and drove it out of the store. She was planning on telling Jaxon that when they needed to hit the road again, it would be able to drive, but saw a figure in the distance. She stopped it, grabbing her cross bow and stepping out. It didn't look like an infected... "Hey!" She called. "Are you alright?"
