[Jitter]'s Application

_{I'll get lost if I try to do this any other way than answer the questions in order so here we go :)}

About me:

I'm a 22 year old girl named Athena (but called Nana or Jitters around here =) ) from Greece. I am an artist of (would like to believe) all sorts with my greatest love being Digital Art and Design. I have finished a Graphic Design School and am getting married in April :D Hooray!



My general knowledge about Elftown:

I know how to make wikis(Using advanced Edit), how to change a wiki back to a previous version if someone vandalised it and I've even mad ea few wikis that were quite successful (How on earth did you pick that name?, Order BirthdayCakes). I have also contributed to the The Old Wiki Candy Shop, the Council Portrait Gallery the Elftown Graphics (Elftown Graphics Jitterbug Perfume) the translators and the Elftown tutorials. I'm also slowly beginning to understand how the forums work but I learn quickly so that won't be a problem :D



English Language:

I believe I have a very good knowledge of the English Language. I avoid using net speak and I'm generally lacking spelling mistakes :)



What can I do to help:

I would like to help with Elftown with whatever I can. I like answering questions or explaining things and I can direct someone to the proper help wiki and in general I like to help in whatever way I can. ^_^
I'd like to assist remake ET a place for artists of all sorts and I think I have added a minuscule fragment to this effort by entering numerous contests and hosting equally many. Some of the popular contests I hosted were the Kissing Contest, All things purple and The HAIR contest! . I have also made several reports on users harassing me and others or breaking the uar.
I am a member since May 2004 but only became a regular in September of the same year and haven't left since then. I'm not planning to abandon Elftown if I can help it. The only reason would be a very demanding baby or lack of Internet connection. I am usually online after 8 pm (Elftown time) and occasionally at noon.



My Social Side:

I usually get along with people nicely and I restrain from going graphic even with people that annoy me. The only case I can go crazy (and that in means of becoming particularly sarcastic) is when people message me to ask for my msn or cyber, other than that I think I am a generally friendly individual. I've had my ups and downs with members (you can't get along with everyone) but I never resort to name calling and foul language. I of course stand up for my beliefs, but I also accept my faults.
I have worked as a moderator in a Harry Potter forum in 2003-2004 I know that outside forums don't connect with Elftown but I feel that the experience has helped me a lot to build up my tolerance and patience with people. I Retired from that place due to the lack of internet connection and heavy school work.



Other work:

Cathug: I have run two contests on Cathug and contributed in the Meow Graphics there. I have also been in the runner up winners of the Entrance Image Contest with this entry: <URL:stuff/cathugsoso.jpg>



The eighth point:

Considering the eighth point... What can I say? If I stand and think for two minutes I can come up with great ideas.^^
I believe Elftown is a splendid place to be and I consider myself awfully lucky for being here. My art has seen a lot of improvement since I got here. Call it inspiration or constructive criticism, there's plenty of both on the site and it surely helps!

You were one of my first friends here on Elftown and not only have you been most patient with me in my learning of "html for dummies"..co-hosting contests with me so that i could learn how to do one on my own and been helpful in just a overall friendly manner, you are also qualified for the possition you seek because in all of the time you have been here, you have made numerous contributions and additions to Elftown that have not only beautified this site but also help many other newbies such as i was almost 2 years ago... go for it...all the way! you deserve it!
