2007-01-08 [Duredhel]: IMPORTANT UPDATE - From this moment on I declare RoL officially resumed! Now a pair of announcements before I go make the first general update of the year! First off, some people might have thought RoL had died or somesuch, it did not, I announced the hiatus, in any case its likely those people are not logging into elftown much these days, so if you know anyone like that, let them know RoL is back on (in person, phone, email, something!), I'd rather avoid mass dropage if possible, I'll also PM every single player to let them know. Second, I will NOT be dropping the parties as I had originally stated, for one the reaction here was not very favourable, so I spoke with Grengo and decided I'll keep the parties as they've been going, but I'll give players the option to form they're own parties whenever they want and appoint they're own GMs.

Third and this is IMPORTANT, RoL and RoLA need new blood, and badly. So for the next 3 months (might extend it if this works out well), everyone will get 500 XP for a RoLA character for each new player they bring in (after the new player has created an adecuate character and undergone a one week test period, that is). So you can mass level up your character by advertising RoL!!

I love Lemire, and would love to see it continue to do well. I have no problem allowing you Guild privileges if you require them. ;) Later, Dur, and best of luck. I would join, but we all know how busy I get when I am inspired. I would not make a good player character for full-time parties or stories.

2007-02-20 [Duredhel]: Ok, so here's how it goes. I had actually been considering closing down RoL for a while. I got very close to just doing it. But then I started thinking about all the characters and cool storylines and ideas I still have for this place and decided to keep it open. Right now unfortunately I'm horribly swamped, I'm getting a job, going to university in Peru, looking for scolarships and taking classes. So I need some time to work my schedule. SO here's how its going to go. I need to know who is still interested in RoL, a big problem is all the dropouts in the RP. So I'll wait till March 10th. Anyone who has sent me a message saying they want to stay in RoL and RoLA till then, stay, anyone who hasn't, is dropped. Also, I'm going to organize a small team to train in all RoL related, if you're interested in it, lemme know.

Also, I just looked at your Elfwood gallery and couldn't find the Niphoreans as a permanent link, and I knew I wouldn't find it here unless you posted it since the last time I looked.... I was trying to describe it to someone else on another site (www.roleplayerguild.com), and wanted to link to it, but now is there no such link.

Could we post it here, or do you have another place where it is posted? You know how much I love that race of yours... ;)
