Tiberius stirred from his perch. He had kept himself in the form of a Falcon to better elude people who would ask questions what the hell....it's a bike...wait he roused himself enough to wobble to the broken window sill. He glanced over at the inn well now, this is worth waking up for he ruffled his feathers tiredly, debating on his next move. He hunched down and hesitated, the House was more noisy than what he would like.

Obsidian lips curved in a slow smile as she caught sight of the falcon. Although she wasn't sure if it was a shifter, she was fairly sure and that was enough to spark her curiousity. She was above him though, and didn't really feel like announcing her presence to those below so she just watched him from her rooftop spot.

Tiberius started mumbling to himself "Damn the noise, and damn these rats" he grumbled, jumping as one darted from a corner. He sighed, side stepping past the broken glass. For the moment he was simply to lazy to fly over.

Silver eyes gleamed excitedly as Obsidian looked for a way to reach him. One hand lightly touched one of her throwing knives but then moved away as she dismissed the idea immediately. "damn it." She muttered frusteratingly to herself.

The Falcon walked awkwardly back from the window, carefully side stepping over what looked like a weapons sheathe as he began picking through his small pile of belongings "I wonder if she'll be pissed if i don't hurry my ass over" he thought briefly. He became alert at the voice "So help me....if it's another group of..." his voice trailed off as he began looking for a spot to hide.

Obsidian's eyes narrowed when she noticed him trying to hide. Her long nails tapped the concrete thoughtfully and then she smiled. She glanced down at the slender rope that lay coiled beside her and quickly secured it to a pipe stuck in the roof. She walked to the edge, holding the rope and dropped, swinging into the window. She landed in a crouch, her face expressionless as her hands started to heal from the extreme rope burn she'd just obtained. She tilted her head to one side, "You look interesting."

Tiberius relaxed slight as one of his eyes shone red briefly "Is that so?" his voice came in a slight rasp "and how might i interest you?" his senses where addled, and he was half expecting her to bolt screaming in horror like so many others had done.

"You're obviously a shifter, but you smell like a daimon." Obsidian answered. She was completely unfazed by him, in fact her curiousity got worse. If she had been closer she probably would have poked him to see how'd he react.

The poor hawk was now quite awake at the mention of his unwanted baggage, Tiberius sighed "I am both, and yet at home fully in neither" he eyed her "And you are most assuredly Daimon" he shambled up the hilt of the Katanna and perched on the chair next to it "And before you gush about how glorious it is...it's not...in fact it's quite irritating"

"To each their own. Personally I love what I am." Obsidian answered with a cheeky smile. Her own katana was strapped to her back, within easy reach if it came down to it. She reached up and flipped her long hair out of her face and took a step closer. Her slender fingers lightly brushing against the hilt of her weapon.

The Falcon ruffled his feathers slightly, then relaxed "As do i, but having two conflicting natures warring constantly can be....tiresome" Tiberius noticed the sword, but made no attempt to move. For once he was comfortable

Gwen sighed again, she was fairly bored and she could sense the things going on around her. She could feel the emotions of frustration as the guy in the corner lost his game of pool, the excitement from the potential fight, and the angry from mama Peltier. It be nice if someone would just say what all the fuss was about.

"Hmmmm I can't say I envy you." Obsidian answered. "The feel of two very different things both trying to take control." She shuddered briefly but then looked up as an idea occured to her. "You must be very strong. Your daimon self is not in control... What makes him break free?"

The Falcon inclined his head "My armor is contempt. As to what un-chains the beast....best leave that be" his irritation grew slightly, but he knew better than to let it build unless he needed it.

Obsidian's smile widened slightly as she sensed his irritation. She watched innocently, her silver eyes wide and almost angelic. He was entertaining, and he looked fun to play with. She smiled to herself and tossed her head, taking another gliding step forward. "Want to play a game?"

The Falcons' red eye glinted, if Tiberius could smile in animate form, he would "And what sort of game did you have in mind? If your game is to show the other side of me, that is one neither you nor i want to play. To much attention, and would bring far to many unwanted guests. So. Choose carefully"

Obsidian paused thoughtfully, "But a game would be soooo much fun!" She pouted, almost childishly. "Argh! I'll admit you're right on this one... I don't want others around when I bring out your dark side." She winked flirtatiously and smiled again. "I want you all to myself."

Both of Tiberius's eyes went dark briefly "Victoria mea, non potest. To play with fire is indeed fun" the falcon shook its head, silencing the gravely voice as its own returned "Yes yes, the game seems to be all anyone is interested in" his eyes slowly regained their normal amber and red color.

Obsidian's eyes narrowed excitedly. She leaned forward, unconsciously dropping into a crouch. "Yes... playing with fire is indeed fun." She knew she'd just had a taste of his daimon side and now her curiousity raged out of control. She was dying to force the daimon out, preferably for conversation but she wouldn't mind a good fight either. Anything to relieve the insufferable boredom she was stricken with.

The Falcons shape began to distort slightly, runes of binding glowed along the edges of his feathers "Your desire to rouse the beast is tantalizingly clear" Tiberius' voice had an edge of excitement "It does not have a physical form, it is entirely spirit, and yet entirely corporeal. We share the same body" the Falcon stretched each talon in turn. He relaxed, causing the coloration of the runes to dull slightly.

"Like a shifter." Obsidian's voice was excited and she couldn't hide her excited grin. She wanted, no needed to bring out his other side. Just as usual her curiousity was leading her into trouble and she really didn't care.

Tiberius sighed, the animal in him was cornered, the Daimon was straining at the bonds "Yes, quite like a shifter" his wings bent at a slightly unatural angle. He paused, inhaling slowly "Solve vincla continentia sit temperentia animi in bellum prodire" the falcons head dissapeared as dark red shadows burst forth, consuming the entire bird quickly. In place was a tall dark skinned figure, hooded and masked, one eye showing red. The reaper chains clung to a belt. Tiberius looked Obsidian square in the eye, the Diamon was unveiled, but Tiberius was entirely himself.

"Wow... you look good." Obsidian remarked in surprise, she was smiling although she knew that she was still talking to the original person, not the daimon she was seeking to bring out. She stepped closer, and lightly ran her fingers down his chest and looked up at him; her silver eyes shining as she smiled.

His eyes narrowed "As i said before, the Daimon has no other other than this. Two minds, one body, hell" an old light bulb lit itself. Tiberius tried to ignore it, as well as Obsidian as much as he could. Dias was awake though, and he had a habit of never going quietly "You wanted a game, Daimon, and after being made aware of the consequences you persist. Now it is you who amuse me" he circled her slowly "Why this interest with fire? Boredom? I can assure you there's better to be had"

Obsidian shivered excitedly, she could feel his power and she felt completely awake for the first time in ages. She followed his movements, her eyes locked on his, watching him and careful of attack. "In this world, and because of my age, there is little to entertain me. I must take what I can." She answered calmly, and smiled cheekily. "Besides fire is always fun, and the pain is worth product if you get burned."

Your hubris begs that you bring her to heel Tiberius. Why to you let her taunt you so? Tiberius seemed to pause if only momentarily. He took in the confines of the room, while large, not ideal for his weapon of choice. He became aware of any source of fire or electric current "So why the charade? You don't need to go on about age, i know very well what ennui can do to the senses"

"Charade?" Obsidian asked with a raised eyebrow and playful smirk. She knew he was getting ready for an attack and in preparation she easily palmed one her knives. If it came down to a fight, she would only want one thing; a drop of his blood and then she could hunt him at her leisure. She came in close once more, pressing her body seductively against his, "What do you think is happening to your senses?" She asked softly, her eyes looked into his, but they were cold and cruel, demonic orbs that loudly announced her dark nature even though she seemed so quiet now.

His body dissolved into fire and reappeared across from her So Dias...yet another surprise even after all these years? he smiled at her "To much and yet nothing all at once" His hand rested on the hilt of his Katanna. He drank in the smell around him, both Daimon and Hunter where playing well together, and such a rare occasion couldn't be passed up. A game then it would be.

Obsidian grinned, her hand reached up and drew out her own black blade. She caressed it lovingly as another excited shiver ran down her spine. It had been far to long since she'd had a worthy opponent and she felt like a dog on a leash, eager for the violence to break loose. "I think you've made me want you even more." She chuckled softly.

Tiberius saw blade, and the knives making no attempt at his own "The lust for battle is a strong one yes?" he held in check his own battle fever. No runes or symbols where visible now on what little of his limbs where exposed "Is not life but a grand Charade?"

"Life is just a massive game." Obsidian answered back with a smirk. She reached up, flipping her hair away from her face as she watched him, studying his limbs and noticing the absence of the runes. "Why do you allow yourself to be bound?"

"Have you not been paying attention?" Dias Ire's stony voice seemed to echo "I had no choice, and whomever forcibly bound me to this Arcadian did so and did not allow me to retain memory" Tiberius smiled, his voice now his "I had a life before this, now the world moves so slowly"

"Hmmmm... to true." Obsidian muttered. She was distracted, her mind elsewhere as she considered the other daimon's words. "Do you know who bound you together?" She hopefully asked Tiberious.

He stood unmoved "That is something i do not discuss" in truth Tiberius had spent most his time when not active or hunting, trying to forget it "I will say though that death is no where near as traumatic. At least in death there is an end"

Obsidian watched him unblinkingly for several long moments and then nodded her acceptance. "Very well." She answered. She walked over to the window and glanced down at the streets. She was tempted to steal a drop of his blood; just in case, she ever wanted to find him again. She bnibbled on her lower lip thoughtfully as she considered her next action.

Tiberius didn't so much as blink, attuned to each an every motion as if it where his own Tiberius, ease my restraints, finish this as you have so many others it was true, many before would have either met a grisly end or been driven off so what is different?

Obsidian smiled at him and tilted her head to one side. She appeared innocent as she watched him, seemingly perfectly relaxed, enough so that she sat down cross-legged and stared up at him, while she cradled her katana lovingly in her arms. She longed to know what the daimon was saying in his head; but knew, considering it was her kind, that he was probably urging for her destruction; it was this thought that brought a smile to her face.

The all to familiar metallic taste assaulted his senses. Blood, or rather the longing to shed it I have not lived this long giving into you Dias Ire, you are bound to me, and for the moment i am master of my own mind and body his eyes closed as a trance like state began to overtake him.

Obsidian watched amusedly as Tiberious went into a trance. She leaned forward a little bit, sniffing the air; she could hear his blood pounding through his body and her eyes darkened a little bit in anticipation of the fight. She was suddenly serious as she sat there, watching him, and letting her own power start to flow.

Tiberius extended his left arm, holding one of the two sickles that made up the reaper chain just think of what could happen if you let me reign fully? I don't have to govern your thoughts and actions, only augment you completely he sighed yes, and it is for that reason i keep you in check he spun out the entire weapon, the thick silver chain glinted as it spun around him.

Obsidian watched excitedly and rolled backwards into a crouch as the weapon spun into motion. Her power, that she had had been keeping hidden, broke free and flared to life and gave the sensation of the air suddeny growing cold. She grinned and fingered one of her daggers, with a quick motion she instantly sent it spinning towards Tiberious's head.

"To slow!" Tiberius arced the chain, sending the knife sputtering into the gloom. He spun the chain in a circle around his head before sending one side flying towards Obsidian, the double edged sickle blade almost sounded as if it where screaming.

Obsidian flipped backward, drawing her sword in the same movement. She stood clear and studied him for several moments, analyzing his weapon and moves. She knew that her sword was pretty much useless against his long range weapon; her best bet was to get in close to him, something that served her purpose anyways. She held her sword low as she circled him warily.

He reigned in the deadly weapon, holding it in his left hand. The hilt of his own Katanna rattled against the chains as they returned. He was enjoying this, the combination of animal instinct, and Diamon will made for a tantalizing play on the senses "Swords, and blades, How single minded" if it was exposed he would be smiling.

"Hmmm but sooo much fun." Obsidian purred and winked. She still held her katana ready, awaiting his next attack. "Do you not get bored, daimon?" She asked, directing her question to the daimon side of Tiberious, "Do you not long to feel flesh tear beneath your claws. The glorious scent of blood fill the air and feel how warm it is as is splashes against your skin?" She smiled at him, purposely trying to fuel the daimon into taking control.

"Bored? no, he does not get bored. Battle lust maybe, but a fight is always so short and....messy i believe the word is" Tiberius refused to let the Diamon speak. Like any good weapon, it must always be tempered.

Obsidian glanced almost disdainfully at Tiberious, "He can talk. Why do you not even allow him words with one of his own kind. He is not simply a weapon." She said carefully. Her pride was too great to see one of her own race bound in this way and she felt it almost as an insult.

He paused "Such is the law of all things in this world. My mind, and my body are what has been given to me to govern, through some ancient art or machination the Diamon you are so enthralled with was bound to me. Who, how and why i neither know of nor do i care if i ever do. It is now a part of me, held dormant until called upon to serve the purposes for which i have intended it to serve" Tiberius could feel the power within grow even as the Diamon strained against the ancient runes.

"He may be a daimon, but he is not simple a weapon!" Obsidian hissed. For the first time since their encounter had started her eyes glinted with anger. "Dias Ire, I call to you." She said, "Remember life with you in control. Remember when you wandered the earth with me."

"Ahh so you two know each other. Was curious as to how an why you where able to rouse him" Tiberius halted mid sentence as his eyes began to lose their color "Yes i remember in ages past" the Diamon gave a start, a flash back placed him at a distance looking at the falcon "Unfortunately he an i where both a part of a grand deception. But do not tell him this...while it is possible, i highly doubt he willingly subjected himself to our current predica...." his voice cut short as the body seized and twitched before Tiberius was once again, himself.

Frustration, anger and something that could be described as grief flickered through her clear silver depths as Obsidian watched Tiberious regain control. "Yes, we knew each other." She said simply. She longed to kill him, desperate to know if that would free the daimon but even she was not foolish enough to attempt it. It was with this feeling that realized that Tiberious now had an advantage over her. He could try to kill her but she was reluctant to kill him.

Again he outstretched his arm holding the reaper chains, except this time they sparked and had an eerie glow about them Tiberius shook his head "Unfortunate" a popping sound emanated from the chains as he let them fly, he was warmed up an ready to fight. What's more Dias was all to willing, thinking that Obsidian could some how break the runes.

Obsidian hissed, sheathing her katana and drawing out another one of her daggers. The her malice was so great that it seemed tangible; making the air hard to breath as she swayed back forth, readying herself for the coming conflict.

He smiled, retracting the chains. Tiberius then set aside both of his weapons and stood facing Obsidian "So it begins" his voice near inaudible as lightning arced chaotically towards her.

Obsidian's eyes narrowed and she leapt out of the way, sliding and rolling under the attack. She gritted her teeth against the feel of the concrete against her skin although her clothing kept her from hurt. She rolled to her feet and leapt towards him, her arms flashing out with her dagger, slashing for his chest.

Blinding energy arced towards her seemingly from Tiberius' body as he side stepped. He smiled "Again, not quite fast enough" he noticed a rip on the collar line.

"Damn it." Obsidian muttered and ducked again. The smell of scorched leather filled the air and she laughed softly. One of her daggers flew through the air, quickly followed by several needles.

Tiberius brought one hand in a vertical arc, somersaulting forward, followed by a horizontal arc. He crouched in a ready stance, palms extended outward. He thought of using his weapon, but that would only be if Dias got out of hand.

Obsidian hissed and pursued him, she jumped; coming up to his chest and letting one of her hands shoot out with her claws. She smiled again, enjoying the rush of andrenaline.

A casual flick sent her hand aside as he balled his fist up in an odd looking way and sent it into her chest. He felt her claws grate his skin. If she had a heart, the blow would have easily killed her then an there as many an unfortunate human had discovered. This time though it was simply a conduit for another energy attack. Lightning exploded between Tiberius and Obsidian. The smell of burnt hair assaulted his nostrils as he tried to regain his footing from being thrown back.

Obsidian gasped breathlessly, and she couldn't keep in the rasping cough that forced itself out of her chest. Her body shook and she was stayed down for several seconds before a smell filtered through her senses. The rusty-sweet smell of blood and she smiled. Her tactic had worked, her claws were bloody where they had dug into flesh and she stood up, lifting them to her mouth and licking them, not allowing even a drop of the precious liquid to escape her. Her body trembled, and she closed her eyes, when they were open again they were black. She leaned forward, her cool facade gone as her eyes focused on the scratches on his arm. She wanted more blood.

baited Dias and Tiberius though in unison. His hands sparked to life, he hadn't even had to use his own weapons once the fighting was getting good, and this made it even more enjoyable. The cold and heavy air was just another obstacle to overcome, and with the wind near knocked out of him that proved to be a challenge. Recovering, he readied himself again.

A chilling laugh filled the air, beautiful and horrifying in the same shade as Obsidian laughed. She stalked forward, her sword left behind and her teeth bared. Blood was her strength, what fueled her in a fight and a drug to her. She flashed forward, her body low to the ground as she ran.
