MINOTAUR

Minotaurs are powerful and monstrous humanoids that are half taurine, half-human. They are mainly larger than most humanoids, either in height or sheer mass.
Their Earthly origins lie within Greek mythology, where a Minotaur was kept in a labyrinth at Knossos until Thesus killed it. The beast was humanoid with the head of a bull, and thought to use simple weapons, like clubs and sometimes axes. More can be found about the earthly minotaur in these articles:

Jashnian and similar minotaurs are found to be the purest of bloodlines, mostly due to the Minoans of Zendelon. More details about the Jashnian (WFR) minotaur lands and cultures can be found on Minotaur Races.

D&D (Wizards of the Coast) rendition of the minotaur... A bit too beastly, not enough bull aspects, actually

2005-09-02 [xido]: See also Minotaur Races

2007-02-24 [Torr-maat]: you should take the crappy d&d pic of a minotaur down. It degrades the names of proper minotaurs everywhere.

2007-02-26 [xido]: We should call that ugly thing something else. Like a Beastaur....  or something. :P

2007-04-25 [Torr-maat]: I think douchetaur would be more appropriate, I like the other pictures though

2007-04-26 [xido]: lol!  Nice...  Yeah, I liked them.

2007-06-26 [Linn Scarlett]: I like the fourth image, with the padded armor and the axe. Such a sexy beast :p Good thing I am not into animals ;)

2007-07-07 [xido]: lol! XP
I cannot choose a favorite. I wish I could find some more cool sites which hosted neat pics like these...

2007-07-10 [Linn Scarlett]: then again, maybe i'd make an exception for minotaurs. and centaurs XD

2007-07-10 [Linn Scarlett]: and perhaps dryads too

2007-09-06 [xido]: lol! Whatever works, right?

2007-11-23 [Linn Scarlett]: Yeah O:3
Which reminds me, I did some minotaur art of my own rescently, ever since Linnerial got herself stumbling into a minotaur capital --how one does that? simple: run away, keep running, and dont look where you are going...

2008-02-17 [xido]: lol! Nice.

Well, guess what? That might be a really good thing, since I was just about to post ideas about what creatures would need images, and minotaur is almost number 1 on the list.

Get with [Torr-maat] about which ones he needs most of the Minotaur Castes, since they are going to need a racial lineup and some other cool pics if possible.

2008-04-06 [Linn Scarlett]: I love drawing minotaurs and I really need to get some practise on the bull-boys. I've like, 6 of them so far in my story, spread pretty fairly over the different castes. One of them actually being a coronal prince --yeah Linnerial stumbles into a lot of people conveniently XD

2008-04-06 [Linn Scarlett]: And on the count of D&D Torr (hope you dont mind me shortening your name, its what I do) but some minotaur are like that, whether the civilized *coughs* like it or not. But eh. We need to get together and work this page into the skies.

Oh and artsie, the pics are good, though I don't really like them personally :3 I am sort of picky like that. I prefer the Blood Wars rendering. Or like those in Narnia, only then less Scottish Highlander (cow type) and more English Brown. But Eh...
