Moonlight in California
Moonlight: Dreams & Demons pt7
A short while later with everyone dressed and in a dark colored van headed into the target zone, Caitlin had a better chance to see the members of the team. The only other female had her head down and was holding a sniper rifle in front of her. McCoy was going over his notebook and listening to an ipod, the priest was making sure he had holy water and his bible with him. The other three were checking weapons and occult items they carried on their person. Anthony was up front in the passenger seat and was talking to someone on his bluetooth headset.
Caitlin sat with her back against the side and her arms folded over her chest. She used no weapons. She needed no protection everything she had was all that she needed to do this job. If this was what happened each and every time they hunted no wonder so many died before they eventually took down the demons or other beasts out there. Cait however remained silent and to herself, even as she let her eyes turn ever so slightly to the wolven amber so she would see better in the dark then she could with ehr human eyes. She had excellent control over her abilities now and it was easy for her to let only a peice of her join the wolf inside of her.
The driver pulled into a safe location and put the van in park, then everyone began to disembark. Anthony waited until everyone was out before saying anything else, "As normal if anyone wishes to do confession or pray with the Father now is that time." The woman whose badge said Brooks joked, "Father I had impure thoughts about another woman can you forgive those?" A couple of the others chuckled as she headed off to find the best vantage point. "If no one has an needs of my services then I think we should prepare, Anthony." the Father said even though he smiled, but had looked at Caitlin to see if she showed any interest.
Caitlin stayed silent. The joke was cute but she wasn't interested in preists or women. She cared about ridding the demon. "I need to know what you want of me and what my restrictions are for playing with your group." Caitlin said softly, her eyes wolven amber as she inhaled deeply to get a better sense of where she was in the city and orient herself for the battle that was coming, in fact the wolf in her thrilled for the hunt.
"From what you said the last time we spoke that you cut yourself to try bringing it closer to you. I feel that is our best bet, You will attempt to get the demon into that." he said pointing to an area that one could discern a slight white line in a design. The priest spoke next, "It is a demon trap, once it enters I will begin to exorcise it, McCoy must be careful not to enter it but you should be able to move freely back and forth." Anthony finished, "Caitlin I believe that it will probably hit harder then you have even thought to, and I have no doubt it may break a bone of two in the three of us if it hits home."
"I've delt with more then broken bones before Anthony. I'll be fine just keep up your end of the bargain or I will kill the host and the demon to be rid of them. If I'm injured too much I won't give a flying fuck." Caitlin said pulling out a hunting knife from her boots, she always had a knife on her but this one was one of Joe's and it would be the first of possibly many times she would need it in the city. Of course she didn't need a blade but she had to keep control of her beast anyways so she needed the practice, she always needed the practice. "When do we begin." Caitlin asked as she fiddled with the blade ready to cut herself. "Want me to seem helpless or not?" She asked as an afterthought. If the demon wasn't careful about going after her it wouldn't matter, if the demon was careful she'd have to act the injured to lure him closer. She could do that it wasn't hard.
"Lure it close, we will be nearby hidden from it's sight with these." he said indicating an amulet he was wearing. Then the three of them nearest the circle moved off into the shadows, and let the silence of the area close in around Caitlin. After a long hour almost she began to smell the demons scent and heard footsteps. Anthony had done his homework htis was a usual feeding ground and most likely the thing brought victims here to feed at its leisure. Brooks radioed Anthony, "I got a visual, its an twenty something dressed in club clothes and he is solo."
Caitlin took her time and waited until his scent was on the air before she took the knife and made a cut on her upper arm and her opposing leg. The more blood in the air the better the chance of getting the demon close. Caitlin took her time though to school her beast into the demeanor and scent of a wounded beast. She was seated on the gound and put the blade away after wiping it on the grass. She had cut deep enough blood would run well, not so deep it wouldn't heal in a few moments, she only needed half an hour to an hour for smaller injuries most humans needed a few days for. She heard The rustling of grass and the footsteps of the approaching demon and host.
One of the club's regulars came around the corner after catching her scent, "My lucky night, after I was foiled at the club twice." He began to walk towards her with purpose and was only a few steps from the circle, eyes focused on the werewolf and the life he would feast on. "The pregnant girl would have supplied my old body for months after I drained her and her unborn. I intend on visiting your cop at some point, maybe I will take you over, use sex to get in his bed and drain him. Then his little girl." he said stopping two steps from the circle.
"Fuck you!" Caitlin snarled angrily acting as if she was struggling with her bleeding leg and arm. she was scooting backwards a little, just a few inches. Trying to entice him forward. "Even wounded you couldn't take me!" Caitlin growled angrily holding the still bleeding cuts on her body as she struggled to her feet to face the demon. She didn't doubt herself and if she needed to she would drag the bastard into the circle herself. she was no where near wounded enough to effect her performance.
He looked at her up and down, stopping when he noted the odd path in front of her, "A demon trap oh please where would a puppy like you learn this?" Anthony gave McCoy the signal and the man charged out knowing he only had to knock it a little way back into the circle. The demon turned and they both struck each other hard, McCoy flying back into a junked car and it flipping over and the demon winding up with one leg inside the trap. Anthony moved forward and tried as well to knock it further back into the trap. The demon batted him away and laughed, "Nothing better to go against me you lesser beings are pathetic!"
Caitlin tackled him from behind. Clutching the body hard but not enough to injure the host she fought the urge to rip into the body with her own and instead put all her strength and weight into keeping him on the ground. "Nothing so less that you cannot be handled!" she growled out deeply her arms locking the hosts against it's body. Caitlin wouldn't let this go down easily, if it gave fight she would finish said fight. However she needed to.
McCoy got back on his feet and while the demon struggled with Caitlin he moved up and punched the demon knocking it back as the extra weight knocked him off balance. The two of them fell into a heap of arms and legs, Anthony signalled the priest who moved forward. "Young one get out of there now!" he ordered as he opened his bible to the correct page. He began to speak in a language Caitlin recognized as latin and the demon cried out. McCoy and Anthony moved away, the exorcisim apparently affected them too, Luckily Caitlin was not and would be able to escape.
Caitlin scrambled away on all fours, she stood and shook herself as all the hairs on her body stood on end and she growled at the uncomfertable feeling. She was completely under control but she really didn't care for it. She listened as the preist spoke it's latin even while she was standing. She hadn't gotten injured anymore then she hd done herself harm by cutting her flesh. She didn't care about that though she ws already stopping from bleeding from her wounds little by little. she did watch curiously though as the demon writhed in the body it was in as the preist continued to speak. "thought you said it was going to be difficult Tony." Caitlin asked shaking herself again to rid her feeling from what the preist was doing.
"It isn't over yet little friend." he said back watching it unfold. He still had another concern if the host died during the ceremony. The Father went through the paryers and watched as it writhed in pain, "I command you to leave the body of this child of God, begone unclean spirit I order you back to the pit and your master." Slowly Caitlin could see a small trail of black, inky smoke flow from the hosts mouth and could hear him choke and gag. The priest continued until the smoke swirlled above the host then burst into flame and died away.
"Even if the host was killed the job has been done the demon is gone humns are safe." Caitlin shrugged her shoulders. It was interesting to watch but the preist said the same thing in english he had said in latin nd Caitlin thought that was a little silly, what would the demon care what language you spoke in, but it wasn't her people and so she kept most of her remarks to herself. the demon hadn't been that much of a hassle to tell the truth but then what was she supposed to think really this was her first demon.
McCoy turned and put his arm back into socket with a slight grimace, Caitlin could smell something strange about him. Anthony and the priest approached the young man, to see if he was first still possessed and two alive. "I think we have won this time Anthony, defeat of the demon and saved the host, but we should get him to a hospital." "I agree padre, I'll call for an ambulance and Brooks can keep watch while we get a move on. Everyone back to the van." he ordered into his radio and smiled at Caitlin.
"what is McCoy." Caitlin said outloud, her nose couldn't pinpoint it and she didn't like not knowing, she had finally noticed it and she did not want to wait for an asnwer. Besides the man was fine they didn't have to stay there and babysit the human. HEr question was more of a demand on the people around her. Caitlin was watching McCoy, he had to move from the circle like anthony had but McCoy was not a vampire, Caitlin was almost sure of that.
McCoy turned having heard her and motioned with one finger for her to come to him. Anthony and the others were too busy getting in the van to stop and talk. The priest quickly poured some holy water around the boy and placed a blessing, it would keep any demon from appraoching and make Brooks' job that much easier. She could see McCoy's mouth move, he talked quietly but her ears could pick it up easily. "If you wish to know them come ask me, I hate to have the others bumble over the explantaion for anyone new." He smiled and waited last in line to get in the van.
"Then speak. I'm not gonna repeat my question." Caitlin said before simply getting in the van and taking her seat. She hated vans. She had to travel in one with the pack when she wasn't allowed to ride with Dallas. But that was a long time ago though she very much so still disliked vans. She was especially unhappy at the moment from how easy it was to take the demon and all this secrecy about McCoy. Caitlin was tired of being treated like a child when she knew more then probably this team did about most of the world.
"I was a roughneck worker on an oil field and one night I got possessed. Managed to fight enough to make my wife and kid take off, Father Burke fought one hell of a fight. Unfortunatley, the demon more or less died so I got free, but still carry the taint of it. Strong, fast, with their senses and everything, Anthony sends a great deal of what I make to my family, won't go home in case the demon is playing possum." He smiled at Caitlin before finishing up, "You did real good, they never tell the newbies too much in case it don't work out."
"If it makes a difference. I don't give a shit. As long as you do your half of the job... and nextr time. Don't let it outman you like it did. I won't always be around to save all your asses." Caitlin said with a small grin before entering the van. She was content with the answer and now she would always be on guard around McCoy. Anyone around her that she could not trust was a threat and she would always be careful, it was always the very first rule she lived by other then never let anyone find out about herself.
Anthony up front told the driver to head for Caitlin's facility and had them stop a couple blocks away and got out. "Caitlin, time to secure you for the night before the turn gets too strong." he said low enough for only she and probably McCoy to hear. Once she was secured for her time to change he would walk back to Foundation and wait until his driver brought him back to let her out for the day. Father Burke looked back towards Caitlin and gave her a small smile, the same went for McCoy who opened the door for her to get out. She wasn't the first werewolf they had seen although she seemed generally more concerned about hurting innocent people.
"I will be strong enough one day not to need a cage." Caitlin swore to herself under her breath. That was the true goal of what she worked so hard for. For enough control to never need to be caged, to be in unisen with her beastial half and live freely. Caitlin went inside the area and took a meditation position once the moon was in the sky she began her training once again. In the morning she was asleep when Tony arrived and she was still in wolf form, she was practicing and this was something she had learned to do well... keeping one form or the other even while sleeping, though if she was completely unconcious she would be human. But the moment she heard the door she changed back to her rightful form and waited for Anthony, though her eyes would give her away until she was around her things and a more human setting.
Anthony disengaged the locks and the door slid open with a whisper, the facility was hardly a cage it stretched almost a football field with living grass and a tree or two. UV lights and a watering system periodically turned on to keep them healthy and infared cameras to keep an eye on Caitlin and allow her to see herself during transformation
s. No one was permitted access to the tapes except Anthony and of course Caitlin, but she had let Robin see one once. And unlike the one that she had used earlier, no werewolf or anything short of Kronos himself could break free. "Ah beautiful Caitlin, just awake and naked as the day she was born!" he said with a smile lifting a cup of coffee and what smelled like rare steaks in a bag.
"Coffee first flirting later." Caitlin said inhaling deeply, sipping some of the coffee she nearly moaned, Anthony always brought the most delicious coffee, she didn't know where he always got it but she liked it. She then leaned over and kissed his cheek in return for the coffee. At contact she could smell the blood on his breath and she could tell he had fed already. It didn't concern her, he always said he got the blood by donation. However he did it Caitlin didn't care it wasn't any of her business.
He sat and watched her wake up, "So, I am still a little amazed that last night went so well it seemed almost too easy. Considering the last time I had to find a way to cover up the gestruction of an entire apartment building." His first thig before coming to get Caitlin was to get a little blood, he kept a couple pints around to take care of his need. "So, what is your plan today before I lock you back up for the night?" he asked cautiously. It was then Caitlin remembered that she, Gina, and Robin were going to the charity event today.
"Some kind of charity thing. Robin is making me go with her and Gina." Caitlin said softly sipping the coffee it was delicious and she took a seat on the ground as well looking up at tony. "So... why was it easy? I've taken down pure wolves that had more fight in them then that demon." Caitlin stated looking up at Tony from the ground. If he thought it was too easy then she surely thought it was far to easy. She wanted to know why he thought that and she was willing to wait for the answer.
"I'm not sure my little friend, I mean granted it showed the proper strength with slaming McCoy pretty far. It's almost like it wanted to be sent back to the pit, I've never seen a demon want to go back before. But, that is for me to pour over the chronicles about here is what you were promised, or not promised." Anthony handed her a cashier's check in the tune of eight thousand dollars signed by himself for consultation fees. He grinned at her knowing the whole amount would go into her restuarant, "Time is getting late I should get you home to prepare for your charity event."
"Anytime you need any help Tony you call me. I'll be your muscle." Caitlin promised before leaning forward and giving him a firm kiss on the lips. She gently took the check and held it in her hands, it was another step closer to her dream. All she had to do was continue saving as much as she could. "I'll get dressed so you can take me." Caitlin said with a smile as she stood up properly. She didn't guess about the demon situation, it was taken care of and the next thing that would happen would also be taken care of as far as she was concerned.
They got into the limo and left the facility and drove to her apartment Anthony would answer questions when he knew the answers of course. "Please give Robin my regards and I'll leave you to clean up. Do you want me to give you a lift tonight as well, I believe I can fit you in before moonlight." In truth he had been going over several cases including her police detective friends, and things were begining to look up a little. "Make sure you put that in the bank, in this neighborhood it would make you a target."
"I am a target no matter where I am or what I have with me. You could pick up a phone and give her the regards yourself you know." Cait said with a grin at him. The check was in her bra. It was where she kept most things of importance. As for fitting her into his schedual. "I can take care of myself, I still have my truck." She shrugs the answer out. She wondered what tonight was going to be like. She wasn't really looking forward to it. Since she had left the pack she stayed closely to herself and tried not to become to familiar anywhere or with anyone.
Gina and Robin arrived almost the same time at the apartment and waited for Caitlin to open the door. "Good morning Caitlin ready for our little adventure today?" Gina asked showing that she brought her digital camera and smiled brightly. Robin gave her a little hug and stepped inside, unlike Gina the older woman knew where Caitlin had been last night and they would talk later. Robin wore a pair of dark slacks and a blue blouse while Gina had a grey mini and a red silk shirt, both outfits would work well in a charity function.
"Tell me what to wear while I shower." Cait said shrugging her shoulders. She didn't want to go smelling like dog, so now all she needed to do ewas shower and dress and she'd be ready to go. She hoped all would be well. Though Robin would never stear her wrong... hopefully. In any case she scrubbed up and rinsed quickly before walking out in a towel. Once they showed her what clothes she was going to wear she'd change and they would leave. She still didn't know what exactly was going on.
The drive was a short one, Gina allowed Robin to drive since her car was much nicer than the beetle. And upon arriving they were shown to their seats and the photographer took the stage, "Welcome ladies and a few gentlemen my name is Colton and I shot the pictures for the calendar this year. (mild applause) And without further conversation you ladies will get a chance to pick our men in uniform calender models from the pictures and meet them as well. Then in a week a silent auction for a date with the men of the months will be held for charity." Gina looked at Caitlin and smiled, "Great I doubt we could afford any of them?"
"Why would you buy a man when you can find one for free?" Caitlin asked Gina curiously. She was still unsure what all this was. Porn? It kinda seemed really too formal for porn but then again Caitlin knew very little about the world at large still all thanks to her abandoned pack. So perhaps this was some other type of slavery... if not porn? "What's he mean men in uniform?" Caitlin asks anyways.
Robin took her hand and smiled, "This is for charity people bid on them to take them on a date and the money goes to help the hospital. And men in uniform refers to firefighters, police, military, any job like that the 'heroic' archtypes dear." The photographer was showing the first couple men and his assistants passed out papers with names and pens so the audience could vote. They began to show the pictures of several men in various poses and all around them Caitlin could hear the women talk about which ones they fancied. Gina nudged her and pointed to a name on the list, Detective James Banner, "Did you know he was going to be in a charity calender?"
"Nope. He said nothing about it. He's a wonderful man and a great lover you should give him a go Gina." Caitlin said looking over the list and the pictures. She wasn't interested. Instead she would rather donate just money or hard work. This seemed like a round-a-bout way to ask for money, and the wolf inside of her disliked the idea all together. If she saw the men in real life first and saw how she took to him perhaps but other then that. "So why then am I here 'aunt' Robin?" Caitlin asked sipping her water watching the goings on with bright and interested eyes. This was how normal humans did things in the world and she wanted to learn how to be normal. In fact she spent a lot of time studying people to learn how people did things.
"Because they want to let perspective bidders see them and also because they want us to vote on where in the calender they will go." Robin said reading as well, and a little shocked that Caitlin was trying to push James toward Gina. Behind the line of chairs where the men would sit was a screen were their pictures were shown and everyone could see them. After a little while James came out and joined the others, his pictures showed up. One caught her eye, James in his army uniform holding Molly in a pretty outfit. Many of the women smiled at this one; Gina leaned over, "Twenty bucks says he goes for at least five hundred dollars in the auction."
"I'm sure that would make him very happy for the cause. James should be August. Any of the others could take anything else. Am I supposed to bid 'Aunt' Robin?" Caitlin asked wondering if it would be appropriate for her to do this too. After all Robin kept trying to make her go out and experience normal human things... Just because Caitlin didn't understand didn't mean she couldn't participate. Caitlin looked back up at the stage, there were a few that might peak her sexual interest but she wasn't really interested in sating those desires not after the full moon anyways. It was a little dangerous. Even if she had done so with James.
"We only get to decide on the placement in the calendar today, this friday will be a dinner where the auction happens. You can bid then and I'm sure he will be very happy that you want to help the charity." Robin answered her and noted a couple other men and wrote months beside them as well. Gina finished hers and leaned close to ask, "So how much are you gonna bid for him?" She knew that she had zero chance of out bidding anyone else there, so she just decided to enjoy the show.
"I'd rather just donate money for the cause... but if this is how you donate I suppose I will try a bid or two." Caitlin shrugs, she wasn't actually certain how someone went about donating. SHe had never done it before and the pack never did either. She wondered if she should ask james about it since he was in it and all... unless because he was in it he couldn't? Now Cait was just confused about this whole ordeal. "Why does it take so long for it all to happen. Why not just do it all at once?" Caitlin asks perhaps this could be cleared up for her right now.
Robin leaned close to explain, "This way perspective bidders get a chance to see the gentlemen and decide who they wish to bid on and figure out how much they are willing to spend. This Friday will be a dinner and probably a chance to meet and talk to the bachelors and make final decisions, think about when you buy a car or are looking for a place for your cafe. You make all your plans before buying the location and even check for things like local crime for instance." Gina started laughing at that comment, "I never thought I'd hear someone equate to charity bachelor auction to being like buying real estate." Robin grinned back at Gina, "It is somewhat the same, a good deal are fine as is and others are more of a fixer upper."
"Mmmm... I think I get it." Caitlin said starting to prepare a list of questions to ask each man. And of course she wanted to get the exact amount of how much she had saved up so she could figure an appropriate number to bid. Robin wanted her to do this and it was a good charity so Caitlin kind of wanted to do it as well. Besides with the money she just got from the job she preformed she could spare a bit to donate. With all this in mind she started to go over the men and information at hand more thoroughly. She wanted to be good at being normal after all.
A short while later the artist announced that the dinner Friday was a dinner/dance and the highest bidder of the night would pick the date provided by area businesses and it would go from there. "Ladies, our bachelors will be available for about an hour today to answer questions and talk with you. Otherwise, we will see you Friday at the dinner and we will have the calendars available for purchase." Gina stood up and stretched handing her ballot to the assistant and turning back to Robin and Caitlin.
"So, shall we grill the menfolk or head back to maybe get a late lunch and talk about our outfits Friday?"
"Let's talk we are already here we might as well. BEsides Aunt Robin you got me all dressed up already for today." Caitlin said with a shrug, she wasn't completely sure about the rules of this thing but aunt robin would tell her at least. She handed in her own ballot too, she didn't really care about the men per say or the calender she never psaid too much attention to months. Just full moons. they were what was important. HEr job and the full moon cycles. they were the only things she really had to pay attention to those things.
Gina whistled lightly knowing this would be a loaded conversation. "This would be a semiformal dinner so if you have a little black dress or something akin to that is what should be worn. Will we need to go shopping for something?" It was meant to both young ladies not just Caitlin, and Gina even giggled as she hadn't caught the joke yet. They watched some of the other women asking questions to the men near the stage. James emerged from the pack and moved to one side answering his cell phone, Caitlin could hear the phone conversation even at a distance. "Brenda this is bullshit, you told me that you could watch her until tonight when I got done at the office, so help me god if you do this forget getting her again for a good long time."
"I'll be back..." Caitlin said absently before getting up and walking over to where James was having his phone conversation. She was listening in, and yes eavesdropping and wasn't ashamed to admit it. After a moment of hearing the two of them continue to fight she sighed and walked silently closer before tapping him on the shoulder. "James?" Caitlin calls his name hopefully not startling him. After having his little girl she felt protective over her and if this Brenda was pulling some bullshit then Caitlin was going to protect the little girl as much as she could. Even if she had to ask Robin for help since it was around the full moon right now.
Her voice tempered the anger he was feelig from what Brenda was pulling, "I'll call you right back." he said shutting his phone. "I didn't know you were here." he said noting she wasn't alone with Gina and Aunt Robin as well. At first the tap made him think that someone was wanting to ask a question or two, this was a huge surprise. It was hard not to smile being near her and after the other day Molly kept talking about all the fun she had with Caitlin. Indicating his phone in his hand, "More problems with Brenda and this time she isn't gonna get away with it."
"That's not good... do you need someone to keep an eye on Molly? I can't promise I can help all the time... but every once in a while I might be able to. This is... My plans... Aunt Robin wanted to show support for the city and since I've never done anything like this before she brought me along." Caitlin said explaining some, she wasn't sure why she was letting him know that once again she had no knowledge about something, but something about him made her want to tell him... to get him closer to her. IT was something she had been trying to fight every time they spent time together.
He smiled at her offer and the admission of why she was here, "Caitlin, you have no idea how much that could help me out especially tonight. I can't pay much if you watched her, perhaps we could dicuss dinner or lunch for watching her." He reached out and put his hand on her shoulder, even away from from the charity visitors he felt something between them. Even though they had decided to only be friends there was this attraction between them. "So, I need to call Brenda back and find out where my girl is, I'll bring her by your place or would you like to stay at our house tonight?"
"Then I should purchase you yes? To go to dinner? That's how it works right? Gina says you will probably be sold for five hundred or more." Caitlin said with a smile on her face, the wolf inside and even herself was very pleased he wanted their help. "I'll pick her up at the park... If I can borrow her car seat from you I can put it in my truck... I don't drive it often... I try to save money even buying gas but if you need help. I don't mind." Caitlin said her cheeks pinkening just slightly, she felt warm around him. Like she wanted to wag her tail and rub against him to let him know how happy him needing her made her. But she stuffed that feeling down a bit. She needed allies not fuck buddies.
He got closer to her and whispered softly, "You don't have to purchase me for the date, I'll take you out because you're being helpful. Yeah, I'll bring her to the park and her car seat as soon as I jerk it out of Brenda's car." He smiled though she was quickly becoming the second most depenedable person after Mike in his life. And of course she was hands down the sexiest person in his life, he blushed a little thinking about that again. She wanted to be friends and he valued that, but found himself wanting desperatly to kiss her again or sleep together again.
Caitlin had to fight down her instincts to throw him down and fuck him as he whispered into her ear. Especially since he was telling her directly he was choosing her over another female, but this was not the time and she had not the allowance for distraction in her life. Even so getting on the good side of cops and even being a charity donor would help her in this city she was positive, as long as she stayed under the radar as far as supernatural went. "I'll let Aunt Robin know... as soon as you can give me a time to meet you at the park." Caitlin said softly, "But I can't keep her overnight I'm afraid... I really have some important things to get done... and I need to do it at least at night." Caitlin said trying not to make it sound suspicious.
Robin and Gina were scooting closer to try to over hear what was going on, and James smiled. "It might be about ten by the time I get through with all my paperwork, so maybe..." He was interupted by Robin, "If it wouldn't be too hard I'd watch her with Caitlin until you get done and pick her up at my house." James looked at Caitlin and smiled again, "Well, your your aunt had you live with her and I believe she's very trustworthy. So, if you are still willing to, then I'd still owe you big time."
"I'll put it on your tab." Caitlin teases with an impish smile before leaning in and kissing his cheek. She couldn't help but to want to inhale his scent, to get closer... but she pulled back without any hesitation. She loved playing with Molly and there would be no safer place then with Cait and Robin, a werewolf and a hunter. Even if it was the full moon and Caitlin had to keep tight reign over herself and her animal side. She wondered however if she could convince her other 'friend' to help her with her urges towards the sweet detective. At least until she could pull back enough to clearly define their relationship to her wolf and herself that was.
