Never Ending 3rd Floor main Hall
The hall is large with cream off white colored walls, wooden bambo floors and a red and glod ornate carpet running down the lenght of it. The doors have numbers in all different fonts, custumized to the students liking
Kiley, deciding she would stop, dropped her bag and sat on it in the middle of the hall. She would wait for Tazi or one of her other friends that didn't have the arm strength of a little kid like she did. She blew her bangs out of her eyes as she waited.
Daniel grunted as his suitcase got caught on the stairs, the sudden force causing him to nearly fall over it and topple down. He gave the thing a yank but it did nothing, he breathed heavily and then tried again. This time the suitcase came free and allowed him to continue towards his room.
"Hey Daniel."
Kiley said to the quiet boy. Because she was so friendly she talked to anyone that came by. She put her elbows on her knees and rested her chin in her palms with a sigh.
Tazi made it up the stairs and saw Kiley sitting there. She gave a laugh and pounced on her friend, dropping her bag and giving Kiley a hug. "About time I caught up wid you!"
"Oh hi-"
Daniel had been about to answer when suddenly Kiley was jumped by Tazi, he stared for a second and then continued to pull his suitcase along.
"TAZI!"
Kiley said as she was knocked over. "How are you? Is Matt here?" she looked over Tazi's should looking for the wolf boy. "How was your summer?" She asked when she didn't see him.
With a smile,
Tazi nodded. "He is here. I saw his naked self on the grounds. He was just getting back from a run, I dink." At the mention of her summer, Tazi's face fell a bit and she turned, searching for another topic. "Hello Daniel!" she said, just spotting him. "Sorry about ignoring you."
"Oh no it's fine,"
Daniel was itching to get away, he was never good with the post-summer conversations. "It's, erh nice to see you again." He quickly grabbed the handle of his suitcase and turned to leave.
"Nice to see you too!"
Kiley called after the boy as he turned to leave. She turned back to Tazi and rolled her eyes. "Think Matt and B. will get it on this year?" She referred to the running bet she and Tazi had on when the two wolves instincts will take over. She didn't really want it to happen but it was almost a definite.
"He likes you too much to give in dat easily,"
Tazi said. She had more faith in Matt's brain than her friend did. And she
knew things her friend did not. She gave Kiley a smile. Tazi knew she had an unfair advantage in their bet.
"Come on Tazi, get real."
Kiley exclaimed rolling her eyes, she didn't believe that, she never had. "Hmm, How about Valentines Day just to be ironic?" She chuckled sitting back up on her bag.
Daniel made a quick escape into his dormitory, shutting the door quietly so as to not disturb the girls conversation.
Tazi half watched Daniel go through his door. She turned back to her friend. "Never. It is not even a full moon." She tried to think. "Unless you two are not dating, it will not happen until late in the summer."
"Wait..Huh? Were dating huh? I'm so confused! Your powers leave you with a huge upper hand."
Kiley sighed standing up and trying to drag her bag along. She wanted to get out before they scared off any more boys.
Tazi picked up her own bag and walked over, picking up Kiley's as well. "The future is fluid until people make choices. There are so many possibilities, so many things that could change what happens." It was hard to explain visions to someone who never had any.
"Thanks Tazi."
Kiley sighed, "I really doubt he'll
EVER go out with me, he likes that other girl...ER...wh
at's her name?" she huffed.
"Blanche?" Tazi asked, heading towards the stairs. "No, he does not. He only is attracted to her because she is de same as he. If you shifted into your wolf form on a full moon, he would be just as attracted to you."
Kiley shook her head starting up the stairs to Never Ending 4th Hall after Tazi. "That's only his PMS, He would only be attracted to me because I'm a wolf." she said as she climbed.
Milo sauntered into the hall, seeing Daniel's door at the end of the hall he yelled over to him. "Yo, Buddy! Whats up?" hoping he'd hear.
A flash of cloth and fur went by Milo as Matt ran up the stairs to Never Ending 4th Hall.
"Woah Dude!" Milo yelled as Matt blurred past. Figuring Daniel was busy Milo sauntered up to Never Ending 4th Hall.
Tazi made it down the stairs only to miss the last step, her heel slipping slightly. She caught herself on the wall, scraping her hand slightly. With a hiss, she summoned her healing waters from within and healed the scrape, but she knew that Kiley would have seen.
"Oh Tazi! You fell! But you healed! But you fell! And....um thats good but bad right?" Kiley exclaimed kind of confused, happy that Tazi healed her self but upset she fell. The heels immediately turned to fancy flip flops.
Matt smelled the slight taint of the blood on the wall. He shivered and his grip tightened slightly on Kiley's hand.
"I'm fine," Tazi said with a frown. She dropped a few inches as the shoes changed and she smiled. "Danks," she said to her friend, finally able to walk again.
Kiley felt Matt's grip on her tighten and she squeezed his hand back and lent on him trying to make him feel better. She smiled at Tazi, "Welcome!" she chirped.
Tazi proceeded down the stairs, thumping loudly with a few giggles as she did so.
Kiley giggled and looked up at Matt happily, "Are you going to be okay?" her face fell a little bit when she saw he was fighting his beast. She blinked up at him her eyes loving but worried about him, she always worried about him. She didn't want him to be upset, it made her upset. She squeezed his hand, trying to reassure him that she believed in him. "If you really don't want to go down we don't have to. We can go back to my room?" she left the question pretty open ended so he could interpret it anyway his wolf mind wanted to. Being the daughter of Artemis the full moon had her feeling a little giddy and emotional, as it always did but this time, it was stronger. It must have been her new powers. She thought, trying to dismiss the scene that played in the back of her mind. Her judgment was already a little dazed from the moon but kissing Matt and her raging hormones made her a little more ditzy and flirty.
Pausing, Matt looked down at Kiley. Oh, how he wanted to take her up on that offer. But she was already dressed and ready. This was too complicated. "No, we had better go down."
"Alright. If you say so." Kiley smiled up at him shrugging. As if reading his thought she laughed, the expression on his face not helping to hide what he wanted. "You know it doesn't really matter." She let him take the lead this time, instead of dragging him around like usual.
"But it does." Matt shook his head. This was exactly what he was trying to avoid. He wanted to be a good guy, but this disease he had made him into a villainous type. Seducing the innocent girls.
Kiley pouted, pursing her lips staring up at Matt. He was reading himself the riot act. She knew it, he always did. She rolled her eyes jutting out her hip and putting her hand on it. He thought he was some sort of monster, but he couldn't be. He was too nice.
"There have been too many near misses for me not to-" Matt began to say until he looked up at Kiley. He stopped and tilted his head. "Please, don't pout. I'm sorry. I'll behave." He put on his best smile and pulled her hand up to his lips, kissing it softly.
Kiley's pout disappeared when Matt took her hand and kissed it softly. She blushed tilting her head down embarrassed. "Thank you," she mumbled, her mood changing rapidly. Butterflies fluttered around her stomach making her shiver, Matt did that to her. He was the only one that could. She was worried about her mom though, but maybe because her mom liked him so much she wouldn't kill him.
Matt swallowed his worries. It was just one evening. And there were too many people here to allow him to hurt anyone. And that was a huge relief. Okay, he would enjoy. Looking Kiley in the eye, he gave her a serious face. "But only if you do as well. I want to see you smile. A lot."
Kiley's smile widened and she nodded. "I will. I promise." she giggled a bit at the end, due to his 'serious' face. She always did, she never thought he looked quite serious doing it.
"Hey, no giggling," Matt said, pretending to be hurt. "It's not that funny." He squeezed her hand and shook his head. "A guy tries to be serious and can only get laughed at."
"Sorry!" Kiley squeaked when Matt looked hurt. She had to bite her lip to keep the giggles from pouring out, the edges of her pink lips pulled into a smile. She let Matt squeeze her hand as he shook his head. "I'm sorry. You 'serious' face is just too cute!"
Matt quickly kissed her cheek and nodded. He gave her another serious face. "I'm not cute. I'm a scary scary monster." He paused and smiled. "Who can't pull off a serious face at all."
"Oooh. Grrr. Scary teen aged boy!" Kiley giggled blushing. She brought her hand up to rub her thumb lightly across his cheek. "Your not scary. Your a snugly teddy bear!" she giggled smiling.
"Not most days," Matt said with a frown. He looked ahead again and gestured towards the stairs. "Best get going, though. We'll be late."
Kiley nodded, turning she went down to Never Ending 2nd Hall.
The elevator doors opened and someone on the elevator pushed a trunk out. Then a broom was thrown out, then a cat came bounding out. Melinda tumbled out. She stood, straightened, and grabbed her broom in one hand, the trunk in the other and marched down to Never Ending 3rd Hall North where she was told her dorm would be during her Orientation.
Matt saw the girl practically fall from the elevator. He moved aside as she went down the hall, shaking his head and following Kiley downstairs. This would be an interesting year, for certain.
Long after the raging teenage hormones were settled, Akantha climbed the stairs with a hand on the railing. She looked at the dorm numbers but saw nothing that corresponded with hers so she continued up the stairs to Never Ending 4th Hall, hoping she didn't have to lug her shit any further.
Melinda came into the hall. She turned and bounded down the stairs to Never Ending 2nd Hall.
Melinda reentered the hall smirking. She glanced at the room numbers, excited she found the boys dorm so she could escape. "You're right down there." She pointed down the West hall. She was eager to escape to her dorm.
As Amun came to the third floor and saw where Melinda was pointing, he nodded. "Thanks," he replied as he started down the hall to deposit his belongings in, hopefully, his freshly painted room. Before he got too far away, he turned as if he'd forgotten something. "I never caught your name," he said, waiting to move until he'd gotten it.
"Your welcome." Melinda nodded. She had started to turn when he called after her. She turned and smirked. "Melinda." She then turned and walked down Never Ending 3rd Hall North not bothering to ask his name.
"Melinda," he repeated in a sinister whisper. Knowing her name would make her dreams much easier to penetrate. As soon as she left, he let out a low, dark laugh that clearly identified him as a demon. Oh yes. This was going to be fun. Feeling happy with the contacts he'd made already so far, Amun drug his bags to Hall West Dormitory 111 and disappeared behind the door.
Ashley exited the elevator and wandered about the halls, looking for his dorm. However, he did remember what the cyborg on the first floor said about dorms being assigned with class schedules, so he pulled his schedule out of his pocket. How could he have missed that? He walked down the east hall to Never Ending Third Hall East Dorm 110. A little while later he exited his room and entered the elevator once more to return to Never Ending 1st hall.
Melinda strolled through the hall, remembering the rocker chick saying the party was on the fourth floor. So up the stairs she went to Never Ending 4th Hall.
