Put your arms around her
Don't ever let her go

["let there be light"]

Before she came…few occasions filled my life with light and gave it meaning, but in the absence of experience I did not miss it.
*
When she came… it all blossomed to a beautiful summer with greater light and warmth than ever.
But then she turned her face and I went jealous, seeing her light shine on someone else.
*
Now…it’s dark…but I’m still addicted to the light…. but I don’t dare approaching the light in fear of burning myself and to be left in the night with nothing more than the burn-marks to fill my mind…

This poem was written by a friends of mune, here back home in Siljan,Norway.
