The echoes of howls haunt every step of travellers, the high trees of Rysallis close on Merchant Caravans incoming from Lochmore and Ravilla and they disappear in the darkness of the Night. The Forest guard is clueless, since the War of Corruption their numbers have been diminished. Two prime suspects lay of these horrible crimes, the infamous thief Gunang and his rogue archers, or the Fell druid Nissto, the Master of Wolves. The Few Rangers and Archers of the city of Deepwood cannot hold the threat anymore. Agkone, one of the few druids left in this area of the forests has placed a notice in all nearby taverns, "Those brave enough, come to the Moonwater Glade near Deepwood City".

The rural path stretches for about 2 miles, at the end of it there's a small clearing, a wall of trees on one side, and the face of the mountain in the other. The rock solid mountain wall is interrupted by a large cave. From the distance one can see a small brazier on the side of the cave entrance and footprints all around it.
Time - 11:00 am
"Ladies first,"
Irvine said as he pushed Canon forward, "I'd do the same to Elise though she;'s the one person I wouldn't want to get hurt," he added.
"haha, thanx for caring Irv hunny..."
Canon says inna girly voice. as passes Irvine Canon reaches up and genly touches Irvines cheeck. "HAAHAHAHA!!!" Canon laughs hartidly.
Irvine quickly runs to the bushes and acts like he's hurling, actualy wishing he did, the image of Canon being a woman was too disturbing. When he was done, he walked back out but looked like he was about to fall.
"Elise, you wanna walk with me? we havent talked inna while..?"
Canon asked.
Elise, who had blushed at Irvine's comment, turned to
Canon "Um.. sure.." she replied walking ahead until she was near Canon. "We're closing in on the mountain..." she said rather concerned.
"yea..better be on our gaurd.."
canon agrees. "if we run into trouble why dont try your new bow skills?" Canon chimed.
Elise chuckled at Canon's comment. "I don't thing i'm confident enough with the bow yet, i'll stick to the claw."
"alright then.i could use my bow, i havent used it inna while.." says
Canon
Irvine gave a great laugh at this, "Like you can hit anyone with that," he said, remarking the bow and arrow set of Canons.
"anyone? howa bout anything?"
Canon Takes an arrow and notches it in his bow and points it right at Irvines face.
Very swiftly, almost like a flash of light,
Irvine cuts off the arrow head with one of his shortswords, "Too slow," he said, wagging a fingr and laughing.
Canon turns a round and heads back towrds Elise muttering somthing under his breath.
"Come on, lets hunt that Gunang down!"
Irvine yelled out very joyously, as though his passion hand been enflared again. He opened his wings and flew at top speed down the path.
"if hes not carefull ill think hes a bird to eat and knock him outta the sky.."
Canon mummbled.
Kellindrel looked at Irvine and continued to follow the group.
Canon takes his long sword out and rests the blade on his shoulder and sighs.."i dont like to argue with Irvine,Elise,b
ut he can make it where i have no choice...ive tried a lot of times to be his friend but he just rejects me..." Canon says to Elise as the ywalk down the path.
"As have I, as has Kellindrel, and Manusus. Irvine just doesn't seem to care for any other life, save his own" Ke'An muttered darkly. "If he doesn't come down, he'll be seen by Gunang's men...he could give us all away..."
Canon notches an arrow and sends it flying right past Irvines head, signalling for him to come down.
Irvine land on the ground as he saw the arrow and laughed as it past him. Folding his wings close to him, he leand agenst a tree and awaited this 'team mates' to catch up.
Ke'An marched up to Irvine, growling. "If you keep flitting around up there like a little songbird, you'll give us away to Gunang, and that's the LAST thing we need!" He spits on the ground at Irvines feet and continues down the path, sinking into the shadows of the trees, moving silently.
"yea what he said!" Canon mocked, spitting towrd the ground but purposly missing and hittind Irvines foot. Canon lets out a loud laff. "HAHAHAHA!"
Irvine went up to Canon and kicked him in the leg, then got the spit off of his boot by getting it on Canon.
"oww you bloody lil basterd! your lucky i dont kill you now!!" Canon says limping along. he has his dagger in his hand.
"No it's just because you fear me you welp," Irvine said as he followed, his arms crossed and laughing silently.
Ke'An scooted ahead silently, until he reached he end of the path, where the treeline stopped. Sniffing deeply, he searched for any scent of Gunang's men... there was a strange scent in the air, human, but also something more...
"Now really... do just help Gunang along and kill each othe it doesn't matter to me" Manasus says more than slightly amused.
Ke'An recognised the scent mixtures with a shock, realisng he smelled both Wolf and Human, but there was something else in the scent: a Hauken smell, like Irvine's. rushing back to the party, he said excitedly to them all, "There are lots of wolves there. There are humans..." and looking at Irvine, he said, "and there is a very faint scent of Hauken. have you been around that area this morning?"
Irvine ignored Ke'An and just walked out into the open and took out his sword, "There's going to be some killing around here," he said, walking forward.
"Irvine, wait! they'll kill you! there's too many of them for you to take down by yourself! we have to take them one by one, by stealth!" Ke'An beseeched
Irvine.
"This doesn't bode well..." said Elise following Ke'an and Irvine into the clearing.
"by the gods!"Ke'An swore, "the wolf-stench is overwhelming!"
Ignoring Ke'An yet again and sticking to his goal, Irvine marches into the cave without a word to anyone, sword at the ready.
Ke'An drew his swords silently, sticking to the shadows and following Irvine in, motioning for the others to follow.
"I'm sure you two can see everything," Irvine says to Elise and Ke'An, "But everyone else can't, I advide we get torches," he said.
"good idea. But where from?" Ke'An asked.
"Well i was thinking we could light you on fire though it would leave a smoldering corpse for the wolves to smell, so I think I shouldn't," Irvine said with a sigh, "So I susspect that we should get them from outside."
"well, at least you're thinking again, " Ke'An said, grinning slightly.
"Ya," Irvine said with a slight grin, "Shame that you arn't," he added after a second, then Irvine gave a small laugh as he went outside and cut off a tree branch, then started to cut it into a sort of walking stick, "Anyone have some oil, or a cloth, even some fire?"
"no, sorry, I don't need fire to see. Maybe some of the other weakeyes might have some," Ke'An said, using the derogatory term for people who could not see in the dark.
"Ya maybe," Irvine said as he took some of his hirt sleeve and tore it off, then wraped it around the torch he was making. He then took his sword and sort of drilled into the top of it. Irvine took two stones then and struck them hard so a spark flew to the top and ignited the torch, "This won't last long so we'd better get going," he said and walked back into the cave. Luckily he had his long coat then.
Manasus follows the group watchful for signs of danger scimitar drawn.
Canon follows the others with his sword at the ready... "it sure is dark...hold the light a lil higher Irvine..."
Irvine raised it but hatted the fact that he was taking orders, and hated it more since the orders were from Canon.
"thank you." Canon says.
