Poke'Events

We'll put up current events here as we get to know about them.

Be sure to check out http://serebii.net/games/currentevents.shtml in case this page hasn't been updated in a while.

How to get any WFC gift:
1. In the Main Menu go to Nintendo Wi-Fi connection settings and press "Nintendo Wi-Fi connection settings"
2. Choose "conection1",""conection2" or "conection3".
3. Search for an access point
4. Choose the access point.
*Note* If you got a protected internet setting on the wireless router then you have to write in the password at this point.
5. When that's done, go back to the main menu.
6. In the Main Menu click "Mystery gift."
7. Then "receive gift." Then "Get via Nintendo WFC."
8. Then when it finds a gift you press "receive" (might just be yes though).
9. Then back into the game, go to the closest Pokemart, and receive it from a man in green.
10. When all this is done MAKE SURE TO SAVE(!) (That is one of the most important part here.)

Giratina's Griseous Orb

Not much is known about this mission except that Giratina is hunting down the Griseous Orb, the item used to help it change its forms. Found in Oblivia Ruins, you'll end up having to capture it in its Origin Forme. We'll bring more details when it's out Unlike the four previous missions, you cannot transfer Giratina to your Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver games.

Arceus' Pledge
Games Obtainable With: Pokémon Ranger: Tracks of Light
Available from: April 15th 2010 to ??
Shareable?: No
Not much is known about this mission except that Arceus is found within the fallen Air Fortress in the middle of the Oblivia Region. Your task here is to capture it, however it will send Dialga and Palkia out against you. Unlike the four previous missions, you cannot transfer Arceus to your Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver games.

Legendary Beasts
Games Obtainable With: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver
Available from: June 18th to August 31st
Available at: Movie Theatres after pre-booking tickets for the movie; Phantom Champion Zoroark
This event gives you a special shiny versions of the Legendary Beasts. You will have the ability to get one for each ticket you pre-order. These Pokémon are also likely to have a special function when transferred to the upcoming Black & White games.The details of the are as follows:

Event Pokémon Events

These events are in-game events triggered by an Item or an Event Pokémon.

Two Pichu Event in HeartGold and SoulSilver
Go to the shrine in the Ilix forest with the Pikachu coloured Pichu as your first Pokemon in your party and an empty space in your party, this will make the spike-eared Pichu appear at the shrine.

The two Pokémon will run around for a bit and then a man will appear and talk a bit. The spike-eared Pichu will join your team without a fight and the man gives you a Pokeball to keep it in. If you don't have a free space in your party then the man says that he'll wait there so that you can deposit a Pokemon. When you've gotten the Pichu this event will be over.

Event Arceus triggers the Sinjho Ruin event in HeartGold and SoulSilver
(PLEASE observe that this is triggered by the event Arceus that some stores hands outs as gift if you bring your Pokemon games to the stores)
First of all you deposit all of your Pokemon except the event Arceus(this will make it easier later) and go to the Ruins of Alps. When you get there you walk to the house and a man comes out and asks you to follow him.

The man takes you down into the chambers where you get transported to the Sinjho Ruins. Leave the ruins, and you'll meet another man outside. He asks you to come with him to his cabin where you will meet the Sinnoh Champion Cynthia. She tells you the story behind the ruins and asks you to follow her back inside the ruins. There she tells you about the triangle and the circles.

Now is the time to deposit all your other Pokémon if you haven't already. (There's a PC in the cabin you just left.) Head back to the room again. At this point you'll know that each of the circles represent each of the dragon trio, Dialgia, Palkia and Giraqtina. When you step onto the platform with the triangle with the circles you get to choose one of the Pokémon, but think wisely about it because this is THE ONLY WAY to get an origin form Giratina in HeartGold and SoulSilver (it should be noted that you can trade any Giratina to HeartGold and SoulSilver but it would be in the altered form. Dialgia and Palkia can also be traded from Diamond/Pearl or Platinum).

When you've chosen which one you want, it will trigger a little cut-scene and you'll see an egg hatch at the end of the cut-scene. This egg is the Pokemon you choose, and it'll be at level 1. After that, you'll get transported back to the Ruin of Alps and the event will be over.
