RP Types

For those of you that don't know there are several types of RPs found on this website and clear across the net.

The most common type of RP is played by cause and effect. Another common type is predetermined, and another type that I have not heard out of my circle of friends is personality applies.

Cause and effect is obvious. The moderator starts the RP and tells somebody when they are out of line and settles disputes between players. Everything that is done means that you have to wait for a reaction from the other player and thus controls what happens to the story.

Predetermined RP's already have the story planned out step by step and the players simply fill in the lines frm point A to point B until the end of the RP has been reached.

Personality applies RP is something that I am taking credit for. My friends and I create characters and define a personality for each character. Unlike other RP's where you can not control any character that is not your own, we have full control over all characters, so long as we stay within the personality that was set down by the creator of the character.
