2008-08-04 [Lerune]: There's also another toy I had that I can't recall the name of -- it had a bunch of little wheels with holes in it them, and you put the wheels inside a flat border that rested on a piece of paper -- you stuck a pencil in and let the wheels spin on their teeth around the border which also had teeth and it made amazing symmetrical designs -- swirly ellipticals and circles and such. Anyone know what it was called?
2008-08-04 [True, plain and simple]: Spirograph? :o
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: You, sir, rock.
2008-08-04 [True, plain and simple]: ^^ We have two sets downstairs, somewhere..
2008-08-04 [TheRogue]: Puffalumps...p
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: omg...Punky Brewster! Add her. =oP
2008-08-04 [Paul Doyle]: (Not sure if this one counts . . . )
Remember when Everlasting Gobstoppers actually WERE jawbreakers and were about twice and diameter and quadruple the taste of what they have now? (I can understand choking risk hazards, but this is taking it too far, in my opinion)
2008-08-04 [Paul Doyle]: Also . . . (some are happier memories than others)
---Thundarr the Barbarian (before Conan movies, before He-Man!)
---Scrappy-Doo (thank God he went the way of "New Coke")
---Polyester baseball uniforms with double-knit buttonless pullovers, ugly color choices and tight beltless knee-breech pants? (Good examples: uniforms of San Diego Padres, Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox circa 1980).
---Remember when a D and D campaign consisted of books, modules, geomorphs, little pewter figuines, Dungeon Master Sceens, lined-paper character sheets in pencil, pizza and beer/soda, and Dragon Dice rolled ad nauseaum? No computer programs or cheesy cut-rate anime shit to spoil the experience! Imagination dictated nerdiness, not Internet connections.
---Remember when Ouija boards were marketed as a "game" by Parker Brothers?
---Remember when "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" was about the hippest, most happening name for a movie sequel?
---Remember when we were supposed to be excited about Eddie Murphy, Don Johnson and Mr. T embarking upon musical careers?
---Remember when our parents could get away with a zillion and one horrible/negle
---Remember when the Russians were always the bad guys?
---Remember when "Domo arigato Mister Roboto" was a brief catch-phrase?
---Remember when Ozzy Osbourne bleached his hair and sang a power-ballad with Lita Ford that completely out-cheesed the quintessential "cheesy power-ballads" by Heart?
----Remember when it was socially acceptable for guys to wear short-shorts and perm hair-do's, no matter how awful they might have looked?
---Remember when Michael Jackson's hair caught fire, and thinking it was the funniest thing since "Caddyshack"?
---Remember "Caddyshack 2"? The . . . horror!
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: Hee -- these are great, add them to the list! I want to make a big list. :D You can put a divid--heck, I'll do it. =oP
2008-08-04 [Lothuriel]: Have you see All Things 80's? We have a huge list of Saturday morning cartoons you could add! Love this wiki!!! *stalks*
2008-08-04 [TheRogue]: Ouija Boards are still marketed as a game... LOL Says so on the label..
for the record.. I LIKED CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER by ozzie and Lita. so Poo on you.
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: I did, too. >_>
2008-08-04 [Mordigen]: omg, my mom thought it would be a hit to buy us those pregnant barbies --------I am STILL scared of those things. that is just not right to buy for a little kid XD
2008-08-04 [Mordigen]: by the by ----there was a show, and a bunch of spin-off movies of this 70s/80s type anime-ish cartoon, that was a lil doll-girl, similar to strawberry shortcake type, but it wasn't her -- it was a girl in a pale pastel/white dress, with long blod wavey hair that had three streaks of pastel blue, pink and purple in it, and she had a pegasus with her and she would often time have to go rescue this crystal castle looking thing from evil ...........I cannot for the life of me remember what this show was, and nobody I knows has any recolection of it --- anybody know what I'm talking about?!?!?!?!
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: Hmm....I'll look and see if I can find it. Rainbow Brite had a Pegasus named Swiftwind, but it's been so long, I can't remember if there was a castle. I just know there were color kids and such, and she didn't wear white, but I'll see what I can find.
Oh, and:
*Sings "Frodo of the nine fingers, and the ring of doom...*
2008-08-04 [Mordigen]: nah, it definately wasn't as LSD-trippy as Rainbow Bright, it was very washed-out and serene looking, everything in that cartoon was super super pale pastel colours....
the colouring of it is very "precious-mome
2008-08-04 [Lerune]: That does, indeed, paint a picture.
Now, I'm curious. I'll have to see if I can find it.
2008-08-04 [Mordigen]: I'm looking too XP
of course, I've been looking for it -- and those Nickelodeon shorts, for a couple of years now, and have found nothing :(
2008-08-04 [Mordigen]: LADY LOVELY LOCKS!
baha! that was it. :P i feel much better
2008-08-04 [TheRogue]: Jem is my name, no one else is the same Jem is my name.. JEM!

should have been a warning sign XD
2008-08-04 [Paul Doyle]: Also:
---Remember when Metallica and R.E.M. were making groundbreaking
---Remember when groups like The Cure, Echo + the Bunnymen, Sisters of Mercy, and Siouxie + the Banshees were making Goth-ish, gloomy music that was good, 15-20 years before the superficial Emos had to ruin it all?
---Remember watching "60 Minutes" in the 1980s and thinking, "Damn, is that Andy Rooney a cranky old coot." And then now, all these years later, still seeing the same old Andy Rooney on "60 Minutes", still being a cranky old coot.
---Remember all those wonderful 1980s B-movies with names like "Yor, the Hunter from the Future", "Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn" and "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-A-Rama"?
---Remember the 1985 Chicago Bears "Super Bowl Shuffle"?
---Remember how flippin' awesome Ricardo Montalban used to be? Whether as Mr. Roarke, Khan or the dude from Chrysler Cordoba "Corinthian leather" commercials, that dude seriously rocked for a middle-aged upper-crust Mexican guy.
---Remembering which was a bigger travesty: the Howard the Duck movie being a travesty of the "Howard the Duck" comic book, or the "Howard-the-DU
2008-08-05 [TheRogue]: Hawk the Slayer....::st
2008-08-05 [Lerune]: Hehe, this is great! XD
2008-08-05 [Paul Doyle]: One thing that struck me about "Hawk the Slayer"---how the bloody hell could Jack Palance be the good guy's older brother when ol' Jack was about 30 years older than him? And what was up with that lopsided, utterly impractical mock-Vader helmet? This film made "Krull" look Oscar-worthy.
2008-08-06 [TheRogue]: hey.. I like Krull.. :(
yeah every time they said his name.. he'd strike a pose, the camera would focus on him, and his theme music would play.. it was awesome! The movie stunk on ice, but it was just funny as hell..
2008-08-06 [Mordigen]: this reminds me :

2008-08-07 [Paul Doyle]: I could add a zillion more things, but I don't want to get too spammy. so I'm waiting for more people to post :)
2008-08-07 [Mordigen]: Spyrographs, or the original Magnedoodles, Etch-a-sketch, Cigarette Ads, commercials & Bilboards
2008-08-07 [Lerune]: Oooh, cigarette ads. They can't even do those anymore, but they CAN still run beer ads.
Because...smok
2008-08-07 [Lerune]: Oooh -- Big Wheels!
2008-08-07 [Mordigen]: or actual MUSIC on mtv *gasps* blasphemy!
2008-08-07 [Mordigen]: **just a side observation** it is completely revulting, and absolutely hilarious that they put the dude with the horridly 80s version of the pudged-out-elv
2008-08-07 [Lerune]: I found some Jem cartoons on Youtube, I've been watching them. It's...interes
2008-08-07 [Mordigen]: lmao -- i can't do that :( *sniffles* i have shitty dial up via. my cell phone .......so not only is it insanely slow, but they have a pretty pissy proxy *grumbles*
2008-08-08 [Jitter]: I remember O_O *watches wiki* *giggles*
2008-08-08 [TheRogue]: OOH OOH!! The little hand gesture thing! I think it was with pepsi commercials.. like a one handed egyptian thing.. anyone remember that? I think they said 'good to go' or something..
2008-08-09 [Paul Doyle]: I don't remember that one too well, but I do remember Avoid the Noid, from Domino's Pizza. We had a nerdy, forward kid in class (we're talking junior high school here, 7th or 8th grade, circa 1986) named Stephen Boyd. The little joke in school was, "Avoid the Boyd!" I'm sure he's doing quite well wherever he is now.
2008-08-10 [Lerune]: Ooh, remember when people said "radical?"
2008-08-10 [TheRogue]: i still say radical tubular, bodacious, chill, etc.. LOL
2008-08-10 [Lerune]: Tubular! XD
2008-08-10 [Paul Doyle]: All right, that's it! Time to diary-doublepo
2008-08-10 [Paul Doyle]: In the meantime, some Frank Zappa (with Moon, of course. That's Moon Zappa, not Keith Moon!) . . . it's not easy anymore, having some wonderfully explicit, naughty Frank Zappa CD's but hardly ever being able to play them because there's a growing boy in the house who can't hear that stuff till he's a teenager. Anyway . . . FZ didn't get huge amounts of commercial airplay, for obvious reasons, but as I remember this one was a hit, back in the day.
2008-08-11 [Mortified Penguin]: Yes, I do remember Tommy, Jason, Billy, Zach, Trini, and Kimberly...
2008-08-11 [Lerune]: Oooh: "Where's the beef?"
The movie "Stand By Me?"
Stompers!
And for the record, I thought Tommy was cute. >_>
2008-08-11 [TheRogue]: MENUDO!!! New Kids On The Block!!! AAAAIIIIIIEIEE
2008-08-11 [Lerune]: "Blame it on the rain, yeah, yeah..." XD
2008-08-11 [Calico Tiger]: Btw, Rogue! When I was still a little girl and in girl scouts, I went and saw a recording of Punky Brewster on a field trip to Hollywood (one of the joys of growing up in Southern Cali!)
And you know... I keep thinking about jacks. When I was in kindergarten and through first grade, we had the chinese jacks craze going on. And I can't really remember the rules XD I just remember throwing up my little stack of colored rings in the air and grabbing stuff. But I loved my little stack of plastic, colored rings XD
2008-08-11 [Lerune]: omg! Pound Puppies!
2008-08-11 [Paul Doyle]: Which oe was Milli, and which one was Vanilli? :P
2008-08-11 [TheRogue]: Who cares? LOL.. though sadly one of them eventually committed suicide.. might have been the shame of it all but I don't know..
2008-08-11 [Paul Doyle]: The Pound Puppies were depressing because the puppies always wound up going back to the pound in the end. (The only reason why I know this is because of hand-me-down VHS tapes given to my son, Patrick.)
2008-08-11 [Daisy_Sandybanks]: Awesome, awesome wiki! So many damn memories. I can't believe Im not the only one who remembers Popples! I always bring up 'Popples' with my friends, and they just think Im nuts. :/
And Care Bears! And Rainbow Brite! And Pound Puppies! And My Little Ponies! Everything! Whoo!
I've totally forgotten my childhood ... Thank you for the memories. :D
2008-08-11 [Mortified Penguin]: I wonder if anyone remembers Mystic Knights... or Beetleborgs... or even Masked Rider...? Maybe not, since I was a 90's kid... you all seem a bit older than me...
2008-08-12 [Grandamelf]: Who remembers 8-tracks! hula hoops! The green machine! and pogosticks! jacks, hop scotch, and Captain Kangaroo! Tee Hee, Grandma is so old!
2008-08-12 [Calico Tiger]: I was *just* thinking about pogo sticks XD I remember always falling off the darned thing. And Captain Kangaroo was a must watch! I mean, granted, I'd be horrified at how terrible it was if I watched it now, but as a kid, it was awesome, lol.
8-track players sucked, but they were better than my record player since I had a harder time making it skip just by bumping into it >_>
Let's not forget.... Sergio Valentes! And Sean Cassidy! And.... JELLIES! Omg, those things used to melt on the playground and give you blisters something fierce, lol! *goes to add that to the list*
2008-08-12 [Lord Dog]: Fraggle Rock & You Can't do that on Television (with an obnoxious but cute little girl named Alanis) on Nickololodeon, When MTV played mostly videos. Acid wash Two tone Jeans with bandanas attached on Leg. Fringe on Everything from jeans to leather coats
2008-08-12 [Lerune]: I loved my jellies. :O And [Mortified Penguin], I do remember Beetleborgs, but not so much the other two. =o)
2008-08-12 [Lord Dog]: I remember all three my nephews collected them

2008-08-12 [Mordigen]: *snorts* So I'm not the only one creeped out by Bob Saget now XD
good, good...
and yes! I loved my jellies too....they sell them at target now, but they are not the same - they are horrid, absolutely horrid. They ruined them, just like they ruined my lil ponies
i loved those pudgy ones :(
2008-08-12 [Mordigen]: ooooo --

2008-08-12 [Lerune]: Remember the "Claw" hairdo? The one with the bangs curled under, but teased way up high with tons of hairspray?
2008-08-12 [Lord Dog]: We called it the pipeline hairdo because it resembled that wave..Hell remember when it was socially acceptible for girls to have bangs?
2008-08-12 [Mordigen]: A ton of girls still have bangs :P *snorts* i dont think that was ever socially un-acceptable here XD
what about the "flock of seagulls" hairdo...or the Mullet revolution when it was OK not to be a redneck and still have it
2008-08-12 [Kaeirdwyn]: Hey, I looked good with that hairdo!!!
2008-08-12 [Calico Tiger]: Aquanet.... How I don't miss you XD
2008-08-12 [Kaeirdwyn]: I never used aquanet, but I certainly spoofed up the bangs....*grin
2008-08-12 [Lerune]: That was the thing, though!
2008-08-12 [TheRogue]: a girl in my middle school had so much hairspray that her head was shiny, and you could bounce a quarter off her "bouffeaunt" One of our more unsavory pediatric sociopaths decided it would be funny to light a lighter near her head at lunch time.. Needless to say she went up like a box of matches, and ran across the cafeteria looking like a skinny screaming ghost rider...they put her out incidentally, but she didn't wear hairspray for a loooooong time.. she went straight (what was left) while everyone else poofed their hair..
2008-08-12 [TheRogue]: My Buddy.. My Buddy... wherever I go HE goes my Buddy.. My Buddy... I'll teach him everything that I know.. my buddy and me like to climb up a tree my buddy and me... we're the best friends that could beeeeeeeee...

2008-08-13 [Paul Doyle]: bobby Vinton is sometimes at Foxwoods Casino, by the way [Grandamelf] . . . still plugging away. And as awful as the Edsel was for its time, they're great at the car shows. And you see a lot more Edsels at them than you see Corvairs, which of course were huge sellers until Ralph Nader did his famous "Unsafe At any Speed" article.
2008-08-13 [Lerune]: Hehe, Bill says he remembers roller skates with a key. ^^ And man, I LOVED my hula hoop as a kid. You ever try to Hula as an adult? I remember just spinning that thing around for ages like it was nothing. I tried to do the same thing recently and discovered it's not as easy as it is in memory. =oP
2008-08-13 [Lord Dog]: Yeah it was H3, my bad..The Ramones got the Gabba Gabba from the movie they actually sing the whole chant

2008-08-14 [TheRogue]: Remember "Paint Time Barbie"? She was equipped with paint brush, and can of Paint remover/thinne

thankyou Thistle -- you have alleviated my aching brain.
2008-08-14 [Lerune]: We have the theme song for "Puff the Magic Dragon" on our iTunes. And when it comes on, Bill reminds me how sad the song is, and how poor Puff had to live alone in his cave...just to get me to cry. =oP
Oh! And the "Love is..." comics!
2008-08-14 [Paul Doyle]: Every time I think of the "Puff' tv special, I get grossed out by all that raining chicken soup for some reason, and of course when I see Puff I can't help but think of Rocky's original gravelly-voice

As a big dragon fan, than song did (and still does, to a lesser degree) make me sad.
2008-08-15 [Lord Dog]: School House Rock?
My favorite was I'm just a Bill ...In the late nineties they realeased a saturday morning album with a bunch of coversongs like Avril Lavinge singing Josie and the Pussycats. Bare Naked Ladies singing "the Banana Splits

And Calvin and Hobbes also sucked! ...the only book of it I have is this cheap thrift store one... however, I have quite a few Bloom County ones...
2008-08-16 [TheRogue]: ::stomps a mudhole in [Mortified Penguin]'s butt:: LEAVE CALVIN ALONE! ::does the whole leave brittany alone skit::
2008-08-16 [Calico Tiger]: ALF was awesome XD I remember when Pizza Hut had a special where you could buy little hand puppet ALFs that came with records that had a single on them. So I had ALF dressed in a hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, and was singing some beach boys song, lol
2008-08-16 [Mortified Penguin]: I have a small ALF on my shelf next to Waldo... don't ask why...
2008-08-16 [Calico Tiger]: Waldo sexually molests ALF every night when you aren't looking
2008-08-16 [Mortified Penguin]: I knew it! ...that's it... I'm putting Waldo next to this ringwraith... that'll teach him.
2008-08-16 [Daisy_Sandybanks]: I stil have a big ALF stuffed animal in my closet somewhere ... As [Calico Tiger] said, he's awesome!
2008-08-16 [Calico Tiger]: The ringwraith will turn to Waldo and say "Ever had a ring worm? Wanna see my ring worm?" And then the buttsecks happens
2008-08-16 [Mortified Penguin]: Why must everything on my shelf be gay...?
2008-08-16 [Lord Dog]: ummmmmmmm.....
<subject change> I used to have Bloom County Records both Deathtongue and Billy and the Boingers ...It really is more like Weighty Brass
2008-08-16 [Lord Dog]: oh and don't ever ask to see Calico's Puppet Shows ... She brings out the old 10 inch superheros collection and it pretty much follows what she described above...
2008-08-16 [Mortified Penguin]: I bet I can out puppet her anyday.
2008-08-16 [Lord Dog]: oh god, Dueling Puppets
oh wait weren't they an 80s hair band?
2008-08-16 [Thistlewood]: I really should start my own list, but remember, cap guns, coonskin caps, "Johnny Quest", Commodore computers and when Space Invaders and Astroroids were top of the line video games?
2008-08-16 [Lord Dog]: And Dragon's Lair
2008-08-16 [Paul Doyle]: And Space Ace :P
Anyone else remember way back when, when Mario was called "Jumpman" on Donkey Kong?
Remember trying to play "ET" on the Atari 2600 and nearly breaking the joystick trying to get ET away from the damn holes?
2008-08-16 [Paul Doyle]: also, the singularly demented "Land of Confusion" video by Genesis, which had life-sized puppets, a lot of Reagan-era stuff (you had to be at least ten years old and following the news back then, to make much sense of it). And this was way back when, while the jury was out before coming to an overwhelming consensus that yes, Phil Collins had become a dork since he took over Genesis singing duties from Peter Gabriel. The original "Land of Confusion", not the so-so cover that was done recently:

2008-08-20 [Perplexity]: No relation to the Hillside Strangler...
2008-08-20 [Calico Tiger]: Which reminds me of the Night Stalker alerts. Did they ever catch that guy? I should look it up on wikipedia XD
2008-08-20 [Paul Doyle]: Also, after been told "Book 'em, Dan-O", did Dan arrest them all on "Hawaii Five-O?"

2008-09-05 [Mortified Penguin]: Then we're taking Mexico! ...American Empire! *chants* U.S.A.! U.S.A.!
2008-09-05 [Lord Dog]: Hands Mort a bowl of Ramen,"Shhh...
2008-09-05 [Calico Tiger]: XD
2008-09-05 [TheRogue]: remember when a spit and a handshake was as good as a contract?
2008-09-05 [Lord Dog]: Remember when the closest thing to an MMorpg was a game of Manhunt? And you could play Kill the Man in school, or pull a prank without being called a terrorist with sociopathologi
2008-09-05 [Mordigen]: remember when seatbelts were at the discretion of the passenger? Remember when you could SMOKE IN PUBLIC???
2008-09-05 [Lord Dog]: (gonna get hit for this one) Remember when you could enter/not enter a contest on Elftown and it did not spark about 10 different flame wars in the comments...
2008-09-05 [Mordigen]: pphhh, I'm not gonna git you for it -- that is why I quit doing/hosting contests. Only ONE of my contests every made it to judging -- the rest of them I got so sick to death of the fighting and bullshit I just closed them down....
2008-09-05 [Lord Dog]: When Kissing in a Movie Theater during the movie was not grounds for getting kicked out due to Sexual Harassment? An unfortunately True Story
2008-09-05 [Mordigen]: when being Gay / Bi wasn't a fad?
2008-09-05 [Calico Tiger]: Actually, here's a quote from Marlon Brando from a biography of him (written by Gary Carey) published in 1976: "Homosexuality is so much in fashion it no longer makes news. Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences and I am not ashamed. I have never paid much attention to what people think about me."
So they were probably thinking the same thing ;)
2008-09-05 [Mortified Penguin]: Remeber before I joined Elftown? (a lot less "flame wars" were going on before I got here!)
2008-09-05 [Calico Tiger]: No, there were still flame wars even then. Certain members have been here for a very long time and haven't changed a bit in all that time x)
2008-09-08 [Mordigen]: ......are you talking about me.......*pout
.........or are you talking about you? XD *Snorts*
2008-09-08 [Mordigen]: aannnddd : Good for Marlon Brando. It still was soo not in-fashion back then like it is now -- I mean, now a days, especially for teens, if you aren't at Least BI, it's like you become a pariah. wtf.
2008-09-08 [Calico Tiger]: No, I'm not a flaming drama queen :O I was talking about neither of us, but don't want to start a flame war by mentioning the person I'm thinking of. I'll message you with who I'm talking about, lol!
2008-09-08 [Mordigen]: oooOOOOoooo sseeeecretssss
2008-09-08 [Lerune]: Dirty secrets. :O
2008-09-08 [TheRogue]: What's Secrets, Precciouuussss
2008-09-08 [Calico Tiger]: Dirty undies?
2008-09-08 [Lothuriel]: ewwwww....
2008-09-09 [Calico Tiger]: Star Search!
2008-09-09 [Lothuriel]: schaweeet!!
2008-09-09 [Lord Dog]: Wasn't Star Search the politically correct version of the Gong show that was even more pasteurized into American Idol?
2008-09-09 [Lerune]: I thought of something while I was out tonight. Anyone else remember where the Semeniferous (sp?) Tubloidial Buttnoids came from?
2008-09-09 [Paul Doyle]: No idea, but it sounds like something from song lyrics by Captain Beefheart. (No, not a lame third-rate superhero . . . this guy, one of Frank Zappa's buddies: http://www.you
2008-09-09 [Lerune]: Nope. Beavis and Butthead. XD
2008-09-09 [TheRogue]: Now can you share the definition of this with the class? :)
2008-09-09 [Lothuriel]: I added Beta Machines...rem
2008-09-10 [Thistlewood]: How about reel to reels and 8 tracks?
2008-09-10 [Paul Doyle]: Coin-operated Biofeedback machines?
2008-09-10 [Lothuriel]: Cigarette machines
2008-09-10 [Lord Dog]: Being able to get your smokes and your Gas for the week with a $20
2008-09-10 [Lothuriel]: And have some left over...
2008-09-10 [Mordigen]: Hey, we still have cigarrette machines here >:)
2008-09-10 [Lothuriel]: No way??!!
2008-09-10 [Lerune]: When I was in high school, I remember gas being $0.98. I used to put like, not even $10 worth in the car and run forever. :O
2008-09-10 [Lothuriel]: Yep...When I was going to Morehead State, the local gas stations would have "Gas Wars" the first week of every semester. $0.50 a gallon!!!!
2008-09-10 [Mordigen]: shit, I'm younger than both of you and *I* even remember shitting, and passing out when it hit 1.99 here after Katrina hit...........
and yes, we still have cig machines - it's a cross between those punch-button vending machines, and the new weed-venders California approved, where you have to scan a perscription code to get it........
similar concept.
You punch the buttons and get your cigs, but you have to scan your ID to use them.
2008-09-10 [Paul Doyle]: Anyone else remember table-top versions of "Joust" and "Donkey Kong" (and other classic video games) at Pizza Hut, back before Pizza Hut was bought out, and became cheap and anonymous? This was circa 1982, by the way. Pizza Hut was so much better than it is now (slower service, but vastly superior product).
2008-09-11 [Mordigen]: my grandma was a waitress at Pizza hut for 40 years :D
and I didn't like pizza hut.........I liked Franco's. Franco's was awesomenes. Though, they got bought out really really quickly.......
or hows about - Anyone remember when Mellow Mushroom wasn't a corporate chain?
2008-09-11 [Lothuriel]: Three words...
Nerf Ping Pong
Never heard of 'em.
2008-09-11 [Paul Doyle]: Table-top Joust :)
http://www.new
Nerf Football was popular (though it sucked if the dog got to it and chewed it up) and there was a popular Saturday morning cartoon advertisement for it that was parodied by my brother (who heard it from someone else)
"Nerf Football---Rah
Flush 'em down the toilet---Ha-Ha
It's amazing how silly childhood memories are as vivid as the important ones. I do remember Nerf Ping Pong, and for a while there they Nerfed everything but Nerf Herders, so it would seem.
