Background: At a very young age, he and his unofficial 'twin' brother Vyse were abandoned in the frozen streets of Flanaria during one of the worst storms in years. Luckily, Yami and Kaelin who happened to be caught in the storm found the two very young toddlers and brought them to safety. When they were unable to find their real parents and had determined that they had been abandoned, they adopted them. Scout finds their abandonment to be of no consequence and has forgiven his biological parents.
