"can living here be counted as a dumb thing?cause hate to say it but this house is as drafty as hell."miroku adds.

"I like this place. It's been passed down in the Inu family ever since, well, forever I guess. You don' tlike it, get a blanket." Sesshoumaru mutters.

"It's ok, Sesshoumaru. I like it." Kirara smiles.

Miroku smiles pulling alexiel into his lap."I have a living blanket that's quiet warm thanks."

"More than I needed to know." Sesshoumaru mumbles.

"Poor baby. His mind is damaged enough as it is." Kirara inserts.

"what do you mean?we didnt do any damage.It was damaged from birth."alexiel grins.

"Now, now. You have to admit that you might have helped it along a tad." Kirara says calmly. "He didn't get this be this obsessive on his own."

"I am not obsessive." Sesshoumaru huffs.

"Of course not."

"no.never."alexiel says sarcasticly.

"Do you people have to fight every waking moment of the day?" Kirara asks.

"Why do I feel like we're being mediated?" Sesshoumaru sends a look a Kirara and she shrugs innocently.

"what was the brother?"alexiel smiles.

"he didn't say anything." Kirara says and receives a glare from Sesshoumaru.

Alexiel shrugs."so...what do you guys wanna do now?"

Kirara curls up into a ball on the bed. "Sleep..."

"Didn't you just take a nap?" Sesshoumaru asks.

Kirara shrugs. "So? I'm a cat. What do you expect?"

"for you to take a cat nap?"alexiel says helpfully.

"...Exactly..." Kirara mumbles.

Sesshoumaru rolls his eyes.

alexiel laughs."yea."

"Well, I'm just going to go and work on some things. Care to join me, Miroku?" Sesshoumaru asks as he stands and heads for the door.

"coming!Dont wanna hear girl talk."miroku smiles following.

Kirara cracks open an eye to make sure they were gone and sits up as soon as the door closes. "So he can do something right every once and a while."

"he gets lucky sometimes."alexiel smiles recling on the floor on her back.

"That he does." Kirara moves to lay with her head hanging over the bed. "Do you remember that locket Sesshoumaru gave you?"

Alexiel looks confused."yea why?"

"I had an intersting conversation with Sesshoumaru earlier conserning that locket. He said that as long as you wear it around you neck, you shouldn't have anymore lapses into your demon nature. It's your bloodsealing item. Perhaps not as sharp or power or painful as Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga, but just as effective in retaining your demon blood." Kirara explains.

"i'd ratehr not have a sword.With my luck I'd probably fall down and kill myself by accident."alexiel smiles.

"Knowing you...most likely." Kisara grins. "Face it, you're not the most graceful."

"I'm scared for riku.A lecher and a un-graceful demon for parents..."

"But then he has me!" Kirara smiles widely.

"and sesshomaru...god help him."alexiel says seriously.

"Oh, he's not that bad. He's just stressed out about a few things right now." Kirara admits.

"Like what?"alexiel says concerned,wanting to help.

Kirara thinks for a minute. "How much do you really know about demon matings. And I'm not talking about the actual 'thing'. You know. All the stuff before it and all."

Alexiel laughs."nothing."

Kirara raises an eyebrow. "Really? Claming marks, formal stakes, the whole enchillada?"

"ok I do know they mate for life...after that nothing.Well if they did tell me I dont remember."

"Yeah, well he has his hands full at the moment planning for the whole 'formal' thing I mentioned." Kirara mutters.

"wow....poor guy."

"Do you even know when the season starts." Kirara asks. "We actually caught a bit of a break on that one."

"no...why?"

"Wow...You don't even have a guess? Hello! It's on your wedding day, of course! Why else do you think Sesshoumaru called all of the lords together? They wouldn't have come for something silly like a wedding. They want to know if the announcements Sesshoumaru wants to make has anything to do with the season. Some of them having been pushing daughters at him left and right since he became lord. I was even pushed at him by my father long ago." Kirara grins.

Alexiel laughs."ok now that I think about it that does make sense.They wouldnt just come to my wedding but they'd come to see what sesshomaru was up to."

"He's a sly one, he is. He knew that there had to be a way to get them here without coming out and actually saying anything. If he just showed up out of the blue like that, this place would be crawling with demons trying to figure out the secret." Kirara giggles. "Besides. He wanted you to have a good day with a bunch of people there. A real wedding."

Alexiel smiles."See!I knew he cared!"

Kirara rolls her eyes. "You ever doubted that?"

Alexiel scatches her ears."yea....a long time ago I did."

"But that was a long time ago. He hurt you real bad back then, I was there to see it remember? He's changed and this should just be another sign that he really does feel bad about the past. He's trying to make it up to you every way he can. People, even demons, make mistakes."

"yea I know it was a long time ago....but it's still there in my memories....hard to forget that."

"Yeah. Bad memories are hard to forget. We have to live with them no matter what. They become a part of us, but what we need to do is make sure that they don't eat at us from the inside. The past happened and it might not have been good, but it's not going to happen again. Give your brother a second chance, uninhibitated by thoughts of what once was and you just might find that the past isn't quite as vibrant as it once was."

"good idea...I do feel back about messing up his papers though..."

"Don't. I saw what they were. It was nothing important. He can just get a tad obsessvie compulsive at times."

Alexiel laughs."that he is.but that's why we love him."

Kirar shrugs. "Or part of it."

"yea...but unlike you I dont love him because he's cute."

"He has his moments thats for sure."

"yea.."alexiel grins."one in every two hundred years."

"Once in a blue moon." Kirara agrees.

"see?the guy cant take a break for being obessive compulsive long enough to be cute!"

"But then again, he does look cute when he's being obsessive compulsive some times."

"that's true."

Kirara giggles.

Alexiel rolls her eyes."on;ly you'd find sesshomaru,the ice king,cute and adorable."

"He's not that cold...Sometimes...." Kirara grins. "I'm pretty sure that I can melt all that ice if given enough time...OR if I got bored enough."

Alexiel shakes her head."better make a fire and pput him in it...then you have a chance at melting the ice..."

"I really don't think that there was much ice on him in the first place. I think he just made it look like that."

"uh-huh.And inuyasha's the smartest of us all."

Kirara shrugs. "Who knows."

Alexiel rolls her eyes."yea....."she looks around."wonder where they wandered off to..."

"No clue. Don't we see enough of them as it is?"

"probably more then that's healthy for us."

"Most likely."
