Alexiel laughs sitting up."it's gonna be weird being married."

"I would think that it would come naturally to you after being with him all this time." Kirara props herself up on her elbows. "I mean, you've already had his kid. This is just something that lets everyone know about it."

"yea that's true."

"Nothing's going to change. Everything won't magically appear differently. If it makes him feel better, then do it. There's no harm done."

Alexiel smiles."rememer when I first rejoined you guys?you found it strange he was following me around like a lost puppy."

"Hmmm....Was that before or after we almost died?" Kirara laughs. "Just kidding. Yeah I know."

Alexiel laughs,"maybe we should see about getting him a set of dog ears.He's still follwoing me like a dog."

"You may be on to something here."

"he'd look cute with ears."

"Perhaps."

"on second though maybe not.NOw I know someone who would.Sesshomaru."

Kirara think for a second. "Hmmm........Perhaps......"

"come on admit it.You know he'd look good.cute fuzzy puppy ears."al;exiel starts laughing

Kirara laughs "I could just imagine how pissed off he would be!"

"he's gettin old.We can always outrun him."alexiel says seriously.

"Hey! I'm almost the same age!" Kirara yells "Are you calling me old?"

Alexiel tries not to laugh."yes."

Kirara lunges at her. "Why you little!"

Alexiel rolls out of the way scrambling to her feet."kidding kidding!"she yells running off in seach of sesshomaru to see if he'd call off kirara.

"Get back here, traitor!" Kirara yells as she runs after her.

Sesshoumaru was in the dining room eating food.

alexiel runs in hiding between mikrou and sesshomaru's chairs panting.

"I'm going to kill you!" Kirara skids into the room after her. She looks aorund and sees Alexiel. "I can see you over there!"

"epp!"alexiel crawls between mirkou's legs sitting under the table."okok you and sesshomaru arent old!just older then me!"

Sesshoumaru raises an eyebrow. "She called us old?"

Kirara growls. "She sure did."

Alexiel looks up at her brother apolgeticaly."I'm sorry."she says trying to crawl further under miroku's chair."stay away from me."

Sesshoumaru stands and walks over to where Kirara was. "She said to stay away."

Kirara grins. "That she did."

They both walk off.

Alexiel looks confused trying to crawl back out but was stuck."they left..."

"Think we freaked her out?" Kirara asks.

"Probably." Sesshoumaru answers. "I think she was expecting us to kill her or something."

alexiel smiles curling up in miroku's lap while he tried to eat."what are you doing alexi?"
"sleeping..."

"Maybe we are getting old." Kirara mutters.

"Don't talk like that. You're younger than I am after all." Sesshoumaru says.

"yea but you're both older then us."alexiel and miroku walk up behind them smiling.

"Thanks for that." Kirara mutters.

Alexiel laughs."so cute!I told you he'd look good with ears!"alexiel smiles poking sesshomaru.

Kirara throws her hands up in defense. "That one was all her."

"Oh really?" Sesshoumaru takes a menecing step towards Alexiel.

Alexiel smiles standing her ground looking up at her taller brother."hey dont blame me.She's the one who agreed with me that you'd look cute with ears like inuyasha's."

"Only after she goading me into it!" Kirara says in her defense.

Sesshoumaru sighs. "You two sound like a pair of bickering two year olds..."

Alexiel frowns,"then what does that make you?a five year old?"

Sesshoumaru shrugs. "Don't know, don't care to know."

Kirara pouts. "I am not a two year old."

"me either."alexiel pouts cutely.
miroku laughs,"how can you stay mad at those faces?"

"Not easily, but it can be done." Sesshoumaru answers.

"I'd like to think that it was impossible." Kirara says.

"me to.our cute faces could melt the coldest hearts!"alexiel smiles.

"Yeah!" Kirara agrees.

"Sure...."

"see?they melted fluffy's heart!"

Sesshoumaru growls. "call me 'Fluffy' one more time and die."

Alexiel sighs."you're no fun."

Kirara smiles. "That's his job!"

"that's true."

Sesshoumaru sighs. "I"m going to pretend this conversation never took place."

"why not?you know you're no fun."

"I think he knows that." Kirara says.

"Nor do I really care."

alexiel pouts."you're not fun to make fun of anymore sesshomaru."

"That would be the purpose of being a total jackass, I assume." Kirara suggests.

"Seems I have been found out."

alexiel rolls her eyes linking arms with miroku."I think we'll leave you to lovedemons alone.We need to talk about our wedding anyways..."

"Funny, Alexiel. Real funny." Kirara gumbles.

"A real comedian that one." Sesshoumaru mutters.

Alexiel's ears twitch and she smiles."I know.I could make a living off of annoying you sesshy."

'It's not that hard." Kirara points out. "I do it all the time for free."

"yea but imagen how rich we'd be if we did it for money!"

"Yeah...but it would take the fun out of it. Put too much on the line." Kirara answers.

"that's true..."

"Well, if you're done discussing the living you may or may not make from annoying me...."

Alexiel grins up at him."but its so much fun!"

"Right....." Sesshoumaru says sarcastically.

Kirara shrugs.

Later...right before the tourement.

"I'm fighting!I dont care what you say I can fight!"Alexiel pouted up at her older brother,inuyasha.

"You could always keep me company in the stands." Kirara says with a shrug. "I'm not allowed to fight either."

"its my wedding!I should have a choice in this!Just cause they"pointed towards her brothers"say I cant doesnt mean I shouldnt!"

"Shouldn't you be keeping your husband company then? Or is he fighting in the human tournament?" Kirara asks.

"he's fighting."alexiel sighs."now tell them I can fight to!"

"What is his reason for why you can't." Sesshoumaru asks as he walks up to them.

"cause he doesnt want me fighting demons!"alexiel makes a face at inuyasha,looking hopeful at her oldest brother."but he fights demons all the time!tell him I can!"

"Let her if she wishes. If she loses, there will really be no horrible consequence, like death, she'll just have a few nasty bruises that will fade in a few hours." Kirara says.

Sesshoumaru nods. "Yes. You have a point. Place her in the lower class, Kirara."

Kirara nods and runs off to add Alexiel's name to the list.

"Yes!great!"alexiel grins happily hugging her older brother making a face at the younger one

"Don't hug me." Sesshoumaru says. "You have to get ready. There was only one opening and you fight starts in ten minutes."

"I'm the referee!" Kirara says happy as she hurries back over.

"okok!"alexiel smiles running off to get ready.Miroku shakes his head looking at inuyasha,"if you would have just told her she could fight she probably wouldnt be."

Shrug.

alexiel runs back over,with two minutes to spare."ok time to go!"

"Okay!" Kirara says happily. "I'll see you guys again at the class A championship. They need two referees for that one." She waves as she hurries off.

"Gods what have I done...?" Sesshoumaru mutters to himself.

Alexiel runs after kirara.

Mirko smiles at his brother in law."gotten yourself in over your head?"he supplies helpfully.

"Well, I didn't want her fighting, but I didn't want her injuring me either... So I gave her the referee job... Something tells me that she's going to do something incredibly stupid and completely mess something up." Sesshoumaru explains.

"most likely thing she'll do is get injured by an angry alexiel for stopping the fight."

"Or she'll interfere and get hurt and or hurt someone else...."

"true."

Meanwhile...

Alexiel had gotten thrown to the ground,a cut across her stomach,locket laying a few feet away."kirara..."Alexiel whisphered feeling herself starting to change.

Not good Kirara hurries into the center of teh arena and throws her red cloth into the air. "Fight goes to opponent 2. Clear the arena!" She hurries over to where the locket was laying. "Hang on Alexiel, I'm coming."

alexiel hisses pushing herself up facing kirara,eyes blood red.

Kirara grabs the necklace and turns to face Alexiel. "Now I know you don't want to hurt me. I just want to give this back to you."

"dont...want..."the demoness hissed lundging at kirara turning away at the last moment,and the color shifted for a moment."kirara?!?"she sounded paniced before her eyes slid back to red

"Yes you do." Kirara says forcefully. "It makes you ten times more powerful than you already are. Don't you want to try it on for size? You wouldn't want me keeping something like this all to myself, now would you? That wouldn't be nice." She holds out the locket.

"oh...no.I'm strong as it is.And to prove it I'll take on the lord."looks around sniffing running off in sesshomaru's direction

"Not good.... Not my fault... But not good...." Kirara says hurrying off, taking a short cut she knew in order to reach Sesshoumaru before Alexiel.

Alexiel stood in the middle of the crowd looking around,the scents of all the lords and demons mixing in with sesshomaru's making it hard to tell where it came from.

Kirara slids to a stop next to Sesshoumaru, "Sesshoumaru! Alexiel is coming and she's lost control and wants to kill you! And it wasn't my fault this time!"

"She doesn't have the locket!?" Sesshoumaru asks quickly.

"miroku?go...find sesshomaru!"alexiel's eyes slid to normal as miroku walked towards her.
Miroku shook his head grabbing her arms just as the demon slipped back into place."..she..must...stop fighting...this is the real us..."

Kirara holds it up. "I've got it."

"This is just perfect..." Sesshoumaru mutters. "We've got to go find her before she hurts someone."

Miroku jumped away as she tried to bite him,running towards where he left the three demons."you guys!"

"He..." Kirara laughs nervously. "We know."

"Where is she?" Sesshoumaru asks.

"right..."miroku trailed off looking behind him,finding her gone."there!fluffy duck!"Miroku grabbed sesshomaru's arm dragging him down at alexiel lundged at him

"don't call me that!" Sesshoumaru yells as he straightens to face Alexiel.

"Here." Kirara hands him the locket.

"We dont have time to disagree over your name!"miroku yells back.

"hi sesshomaru.Long time no see."Alexiel grins evilly

"he always has time to argue over his name..." Kirara mutters.

"Hello, Alexiel. I see that you changed quite a bit. Anything you need to tell me?" Sesshoumaru monotones.

"I like this body.So much stronger then the-"
"sesshomaru?where?"the real alexiel stared out of her eyes,looking paniked.

"Right here, Alexiel. You're doing great." Sesshoumaru says. "Now take the locket." He holds it out to her.

Alexiel takes it looking confused."what am I doing?"

"Well you were about to slice him in half, but I don't think you're going to now." Kirara says, moving to Sesshoumaru's side.

"She wasn't going to slice me in half." Sesshoumaru huffs. "I wouldn't have let her."

Alexiel rubs her eyes."all I remember is signing up for a fight..."

"It's ok. No one got hurt and that's the important thing." Sesshoumaru says.

"i dont feel so good.."alexiel stumbles holding her stomach,falling as more blood seeps through her fingers

Kirar reaches out to steady her. "But I think we should get that some medical attention. I'll take her to the healer."

"might be a good idea."miroku nods slipping a arm around alexiel holding her as she passed out

"You two go ahead. I'll stop by later to see if she's all right." Sesshoumaru says as he turns to go.

Kirara nods.

Miroku nods carrying alexiel up to thier room before looking at kirara."who was she fighting?usually she wouldnt lose it this bad..."

Kirara shrugs. "I wish I knew. I was just told where to make them stand and to make sure that no one killed anyone else. He was marked as Opponent 2, so I didn't feel the need to ask questions."

"lets see what we can find out before she wakes up."

"Yes. Let's." Kirara says slowly. "She should have never been beaten to that point in a Class D fight. That's the whole reason why Sesshoumaru put her there."

"yea.So who's desguising themselves to fight a halfbreed?if anything I'd think it'd be sesshy they'd be after"

"But whoever it was, they were. They seemed to know that, in her deranged state, she would want to go after whoever happened to be in charge of these lands, thus presumably the strongest." Kirara explains. "They were obviously hoping that she would weaken him, then have destroy her in self-defense, and then swoop down towards the end of the fight and be able to over-power Sesshoumaru while he was still recouperating from the battle and the death of his sister at his own hands."

Miroku sighs looking around at the wedding guests who had assmbled in the training hall."thats true.For all the times I've seen sesshomaru try and kill his siblings I'd be surprised if he didnt feel about killing her now."he looks around."did she get any hits it?"

"Superficial ones." Kirara says. "If the demon is still around, he would have had time to heal most of the more identifying ones. But she did land a pretty good punch to his hip, so maybe he'll still have the remnants of a limp."

"at least its something to go on."miroku looks around seeing one of the lords limping around."him?"

"I don't think so." Kirara says after a minute. "It wouldn't be a lord. That class is too low for anyone powerful enough to be a lord.... Oh... This is hopeless. There are several demons wandering around that are hurt, some worse than others. It's a tournament after all, people hurting people where ever you look."

"yea."miroku looks around."lets find sesshomaru.Maybe he'll have an idea where to start."

"Maybe." Kirara shrugs. "He'll have the battle roster at least. Our demon probably used an alias, but it's a place to start."

"Where's a place to start?" Sesshoumaru asks as he comes up form behind them.

Miroku jumps spinning around to face him."to see if you'd have any idea who'd do this."

"Still got that roster?" Kirara asks.

"Yes, but you aren't going to find anything with it. I've already checked. The demon in question was using an alias that I've never heard of before. It's in my opinion that he didn't stick around for the fireworks. We just need to keep an eye out." Sesshoumaru says.

Mirkou nods.

"do you guys have nothing better to do but stand around?there are alot of demons in the house,that are just wandering around."alexiel says stopping next to her brother

"I was just about to leave." Sesshoumaru says as he walks off into the house.

"You feeling better, Alexiel?" Kirara asks.

Alexiel rolls her eyes."I'm fine.I dont even hurt."
"really?"miroku reaches over poking her in the stomach.
"OW!"

"Well you sure sound better." Kirara says sarcastically.

"I AM!"alexiel scowls."I'm going to go see sesshomaru!At least he wont poke me!"

Kirara raises her eyebrow. "Are you so sure of that?"

"yes!because he's nice to me!"Alexiel grins running off to find sesshomaru

Sesshoumaru had just finished giving some servants an assignment.

"sesshomaru!"Alexiel skidds to a halt next to him"They're being mean to me!"puppy dog eyes

"They don't believe that you're feeling better so they deicded to poke you?" Sesshoumaru asks without even looking up from the seating chart he was arranging.

"yes."alexiel pouts looking over his shoulder."whatcha doing?"

"Getting this seating chart ready for the feast later. We don't want to put two people next to each other that would rather cut off the head of the other than look at him." Sesshoumaru sighs. "That's really the only problem with these large get-togethers."

"yes that would be."alexiel grins immidating sesshomaru's voice."now lords,no bloodshed at the dinner table."

"Ha ha. Very funny." Sesshoumaru says sarcastically. "Anyways. I hate to take away from your wedding day thunder, but there is an announcement that I would like to make on my behalf at the feast. It is also imperative that I get this chart correct or there might be bloodshed regardless of anything I might try to stop it."

alexiel laughs."go for it.I'll sit here nice and quietly waiting for you to finish."

"Of course if it looks a though there's going to be bloodshed, I would hope that you would grab your new husband and take flight." Sesshoumaru suggests.

"of course.I really dont feel better,I just rather not lie flat on my back while everyone's running around."

"I figured as much."

"good to see you know me that well."

"I don't really know you per se. I would say that I know your spirit, your type. I seem to know quite a few people just like you. I suppose I've learned to adjust."

"thanks...I think."alexiel grins hugging him."I thought you had work to do."

Sesshoumaru hands the chart off to a passing servant. "Not anymore I don't."
