Alexiel shrugs resting her head on top of her knees.

Kirara sighs. "You have to talk to him about it some time. There's no reversing what you've done now."

Alexiel looks up at her."and what did I do?"

miroku sighs looking around for her.

"You've mated and demons, even half ones, mate for life. There's no turning back now, even if you wanted to." Kirara says calmly.

"yea I know...."Alexiel smiles seeing miroku walking towards them.

"Do you want me to go so you can talk to him?" Kirara asks.

Alexiel smiles as miroku sits down."if you would."

"Right then! There has to be something to do around here to entertain myself." Kirara says as she jumps off into the trees headed back to the village.

Alexiel smiles and miroku hugs her."what's wrong?"

"you are!You had to touch her butt!with me standing there!"

"IT's outta habit.I'll touch your butt more often now...."Miroku whispers in her ear.

Kirara wanders aimlessly throughout the village before plopping down in front of an abandoned hut. "It's nice out here. I could actually see myself settling down for good here." she says to herself.

Miroku picks alexiel up bridal style heading back to her room in the mansion.Shutting the door he tosses her on the bed.
BLANK!

Kirara closes her eyes to take a nap, but then realizes something.... She's not tired. She stands up and stretches. "Mmmmm. That feels good."

Inuyasha smiles carrying onyx up to alexiel's room since alexiel said she wouldn't be in there for awhile.Smiling he pushes open the door.

Kirara wanders up to the mansion. 'I think Sesshoumaru said something about there being training courts up here. I could always use the extra practice.'' She though as she opened the door the the mansion.

Inuyasha drops onyx covering his eyes.Miroku and alexiel jump surprised falling out of bed and pulling the blanket down to cover up."ONYX?!?!INUYAHSA!?!?!WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!"alexiel says flushed with embrassement.

Kirara rushes to find the sourse of the noise. "What's going on in he--OH! SHIT! SORRY!" She says and turns around blushing covering her eyes.

Onyx covers her eyes, trying not to look when she hears something. She turns around to see a vase with a rose in it, shaking.

Alexiel blushes looking over the edge of the bed."kirara....toss me my clothes please?"Miroku grins not embrassed.

Kirara tosses her the clothes trying not to look at the same time. "I am so sorry. I thought someone was being killed or something."

The vases explodes and the water spirit appears. Onyx gives a scream and the spirit grabs her by the ankle.

Kirara's eyes widen. "WHAT THE FU--" She reaches out and grabs Onyx's arm.

Alexiel hurriedly pulls on her clothes and grabs onyx's other arm while inuyasha grabbed her waist pulling.

"Stupid mortal!" The spirit hisses, grabbing Onyx's. "You will do as I command!"

"Kazuwa koko ni watashi no ishi. Watashi ga kichou hoji suru ichi tsu wo hogo shi nasai koukan ta kara no ichi seimei soshite watashi wo nozoma reru ichi ga ara seru." Kirara says and completes the spell. Both her and Onyx begin to glow. "I swore I would protect this girl and by the gods I will!"
(Gods above. Here my will. Please protect the one I hold dear. Exchange one life from the other, and make me be the one desired.)

Alexiel and inuyasha let go both lundging at the spirit claws entended.

The spirit sees the two and lets go of Onyx and backs away, hissing again.

Kirara drops to the floor tired. "Stop Inuyasha and Alexiel. She doesn't want Onyx anymore. That was a special spell, passed down in my family for generations. Onyx can no longer be touched by that foul creature."

"I swear by the lord of this mountian, that girl will be ours!" The spirit hisses again and disappers.

Kirara sighs and closes her eyes, trying to concentrate. She feels her energy returning slowly.

inuyashsa and alexiel stop both glaring at the spirit,standing portective on each side of onyx.

Onyx gets up with much struggling.

Kirara watches smiles. "I promised I wouldn't let her take you, didn't I?"

Miroku smiles,both half demons still glowering and arms crossed untrusting.

Meanwhile...

"That stupid girl!" The water spirit hisses angerly. "Well at least its not a total waste! I still have the demon under my control! I'll have to send one of my minions to finish the job however."

Inuyasha and alexiel look back and forth unsure if everything was fine,but alexiel was still a brillant shade of pink.

"Right then. So I guess we'd better find something to do. Perhaps make this castle a bit more intruder proof?" Kirara suggests.

"My hair!" Onyx said, holding a lock of her hair. "Oh, I hope she didn't ruin it!"

"yea...like locks on the bedroom doors?"miroku says making alexiel get even daker red.

Kirara giggles. "That might have been a good idea, but it's a little too late, and you're hair's fine."

Onyx just sits and fixes her hair.
"Ouch!" She said after tugging on her hair. "That hurt! That horrid being pulled my hair to hard."

Kirara sighs. "Just be glad that she didn't take your head with her."

Inuyasha and alexiel relax looking around.

"It still hurt." Onyx pouted.

"You'll feel better in a few minutes." Kirara says and stretches.

Alexiel smiles poking inuyasha in the side."there is a room down the hall..."inuyasha blushes at the implied statment.

"Is that all you guys ever think about?" Kirara asks and walks over to the door.

"no...just taht I know that's why he came up..."alexiel grins.

Onyx looked over at InuYasha and blushed as well.

Kirara rolls her eyes. "Everyone's hooking up and sexing it up. I'm gonna go hit stuff." She stalks off to the training courts.

Alexiel laughs leaning out the door."there is a lord of this castle around who is at the moment avaible!"

"Actually, right now there isn't." Onyx says.

Kirara gets to the courts and sets up a few targets. She gets into a fighting stance and goes off into a series of drills the requires her to hit the target with great speed and accuracy because a wrong hit will send them slamming into her.

Alexiel shrugs."her and sesshy would make a good couple..." Inuyasha looks at her shaking his head."dont even think about it alexiel.You remember the last person you tried to get sesshomaru to go out with?"

Onyx just sits there, confused.

Alexiel smiles."Not my fault he killed her,I didnt know he didn't like sushi."Inuyasha just shakes his head.Alexiel shrugs and heads to the gym.

"You have a strange famiyl." Onyx says, getting up.

"of course,but I wouldnt have them any other way."Inuyasha grins picking her up bridal style.

Kirara hits a target and jumps back, twisting in the air to punch at a different one. She growls. "This...one's...for....you..." She grunts out and kncks the targetback sliding under the recoil to snap back and kick it on her way to the next one. 'Why does even thinking about that bastard make me angry, but there's also something else...Probably just more anger...'

Onyx giggles and snuggles next to InuYasha.

Alexiel smiles letting herself into a upper balcony that overlooks the training gym.

Inuyasha smiles laying down on the bed.

Kirara punches another one and then whips around to deliver a kick to one nearby, but forgets about the recoil and gets slammed in the back. She flys through the air, but manages to flip at the last second, landing on her knees. "Shit! That's what I get for getting so worked up about nothing."

Onyx smiles and starts playing with her hair.

inuyasha kisses her cheek laying down against the fluffly pillows,very girly pillows.

Alexiel smiles sitting on the railing."you ok?"

Kirara looks up at her. "I'm fine. I just can't seem to concentrate today for some reason."

"that's what the call love."

"Whatever do you mean by that?" Kirara asks calmy.

Alexiel grins starting to do handstands on the railing."I see how you look at lord fluffy."

"And how do I look at this "Fluffy" you mentioned?" Kirara aska slyly.

"Like your head over heels in love with him."

"So what if I am. You going to do something about it?" Kirara challenges as she stands.

"nothing.It'd just be nice if he found someone/..."

"Well, it looks like he's just going to have to keep looking. He seems to hate me if you'll remember." Kirara says and jumps up the land next to Alexiel.

"nash...he just likes keeping up appearances.He's probably in his room by now..."

"Are you suggesting something?" Kirara raises an eyebrow.

"nope.just given helpful advice.Though inuyasha would probably say I was meddliing.."alexiel smiles doing a cartwheel.

Onx snuggles against InuYasha and rubs his chest.

Inuyasha purrs a little,falling asleep.

Onyx snuggled against him and fell asleep as well.

"Perhaps a little meddling can go a long way. I have to admit that if it wasn't for you, I probably still wouldn't be around here. I would have run away like I usually do." Kirara admitted.

'well then...why not go find fluffy and ask him if he likes you."alexiel smiles.

"He's not here. I can smell his scent everywhere, but there's no focal point. He's not in the castle." Kirara says. "And besides...I wouldn't know what to say."

Alexiel grins."you walk up and say'do you love me?'"and she says it like it's the most obvious thing in the world

Kirara blushes. "I couldn't be that blunt. He'd probably kill me on the spot. Besides, what if he doesn't really like me after all? I think it would just be best if I left him alone. This is getting far too complicated in ways that you can't even begin to understand."

Alexiel grins sitting in a crouch on the railing."fine be that way.I'll go ask."

"Why do you care so much?" Kirara asks as she begins slowly kicking her dangling legs.

"because I have someone,inuyasha has onyx,and poor fluffy has no one."Alexiel grins walking on the railing.

"Haven't you ever thought that he might already love someone else?" Kirara wonders aloud, 'And besides, it would be all over the demon relms in a day or two. My father would finally find me. I can't risk something like that. And then people would say that I did it for the lands, since he already knows.'

"no...and he probably doesnt.Last date thing he had he killed the girl.So if you can put up with a tempermental demon he's perfect for you.and you do travel with inuyasha so I think it'd work."

"Oh that makes me feel better. So things should go uphill from here right, seeing as we gotten the trying to kll me part out of the way?" Kirara says sadly. "Alexiel? I don't think I can hide this anymore. There's something I want to tell you, but you have to swear that you won't tell a soul."

Alexiel looks worried sitting back down."ok...."

Kirara takes a deep breath. "Remember how, years ago, the wayward daughter of the Lord of the South disappeared. Everyone just assumed that she was killed, but then the great symbol of that clan, the Fire Sword, also disappeared, proving that she was still alive. The reason behind their thinking was that she was the only one capable of using the sword. Well, they were right, and I ran away because I didn't want to be a ruler. I just wanted to be normal. So I took a talisman, went to that sacred mountain and used to elixer to strengthen it. I became the loyal pet of a slayer's vllage. Then all this happened and here I am. Do you hate me for hiding myself from all my friends for so long? I just didn't want to go back."

Alexiel looks at her suprised."does sesshomaru know?"She was concerned for his feelings,cause she thought he liked her and he's not as forgiving as she was about being lied to.

"Of course he does. He knew the second he saw me. He recognized the scent. But now, things are so complicated." Kirara says grabbing her head in frustration. "I made a huge mistake and this is what I get out of it."

Alexiel shrugs."youre still kirara the others wont care...well inuyasha might not talk to you for awhile..."

Kirara grins despite herself. "I think I'll survive." She sniffs the air. "This is weird. Does Sesshoumaru normally disappear at around the same time Onyx does, and then not return even though she's been back for about an hour."

Alexiel starts to look really worried."no...."

"Then I think something's wrong." Kirara says calmly even though on the inside she's freaking out.

Alexiel does the complete opposite of kirara.She does start to freak out."Ok!lets go!we-we"she spins in circles trying to figure out what to do.

"Woah. Calm down is the first thing. I think Onyx said something about him earlier. Maybe she knows something. Hell, maybe she DID something." Kirara says and hurries to her feet.

alexiel grins."you're even sounding like him.He tells me to calm down all the time.Ok onyx it is."alexiel starts for her room.

"You spaz all the time...No surprise in that one then." Kirara says as she runs in front of her.

Alexiel makes a face at her,catching up.

Kirara bursts into the room. "HEY ONYX! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE WITH SESSHOUMARU!!"

Onyx rubs her eyes and looks at her.
"What? What are you talking about?" She asks.

"Don't lie! You know what's happened to him so tell us! We can't fin him anywhere!" Kirara says hiding her tears.

Alexiel comes in smelling kirara's tears but to worried to say anything.Inuyasha sits up."what's going on?"

"I didn't do anything to him," Onyx says. "He was the one who attacked me. I ran, trying to get away from him and then I came here."

"He wouldn't attack you. He would never attack you of his own free will you moron!" Kirara yells out.

"I honestly don't know where he is!" Onyx says, backing away from Kirara.

Alexiel and inuyasha move till they're standing inbetween the two."ok stop!talk rationally and slowly..."alexiel says tryingto be the calm one...for once.

"She knows! I know she knows! Alexiel! Help me please!" Kirara begs.

"All I know is that he is with the water spirit and I've only seen her once in one place." Onyx says, hudding InuYasha.

Alexiel looks worried."ok...maybe she might know but not know it...."

inuyasha looks nervously at kirara.

"Where was this place. And don't lie..."Kirara glares menecingly.

"In the castle of the master of the mountian." She answers.

"Do you know where that is?" Kirara asks trying to calm herself down.

Alexiel and inuyasha look at each other and relax at little.

"Yes, I do." Onyx says.

"Then tell me." Kirara says threateningly.

Onyx looks scared for a moment but sallows and then says, "Its hidden in the forest. Its easy to find because the beast of the moutain usually sleeps outside and you can hear him breathe."

Kirara takes off without another word. She quickly leaves the castle through the nearest window and runs as fast as she can for the forest.

Inuyasha and alexiel look at onyx then take off after kirara,inuyasha tossing onyx over his shoulder.

"You know I can run." Onyx said, shaking her head.

Kirara skids to a stop in the middle of a clearing. She stands there listening for any sounds that might lead her to the castle.

inuyasha drops onyx still running."ok then."

Kirara freezes. She can't hear athings and the scent is fading. She fears that she is going to lose him and every chance of finding him. She begins to panic inside her mind.

Alexiel stops beside her,sniffing and starting to panic again.

"We have to remain calm. Onyx said the listen for breathing and we can't do that if we're breathing heavily ourselves." Kirara says more to herself than anything.

Alexiel forces herself to be still and listens still not hearing anything.

Kirara stops breathing all together and stretches her superior hearing to the limit. She hears a faint noise, as though some was gently breathing. She points in the direction it's coming from and takes off.

alexiel follows trying her best to keep up.

Sesshoumaru saw them coming and tried to disobey the commands that attack, to kill, but he just couldn't. He moved into a better vantage point and waited, screaming out against the injustice in his mind.

Kirara continues to run her legs pumping and her heart racing.

Alexiel trips and stumbles to keep up but gets back up,looking around for sesshomaru.no matter how much they fought...they were still family.

"Kirara run!" Sesshoumaru yells out as he jumps in for the kill. He just thanks the gods that Alexiel had tripped and wasn't in his range when he moved.

"What the hell!" Kirara yells out as she moves out of his way, barely missing his poisoned claws.

Alexiel scrambles to her feet facing him,confusion written on her face."Sesshomaru?"She asks sounding scared.

"I can't control my body. Run now, you idiot!" Sesshoumaru directs his last two words at Kirara who has rushed forward to attack.

Kirara heard what he said and realized what had happened. She had known that that strange girl had something strange about her, but she had marked it down as paranoia. As she continued to attack and evade she began to think about how she could reverse the spell. Nothing was coming to mind though.

Alexiel watched in morbid wonder as sesshomaru and kirara fought,trying to think of a way to help.

"Why are you still here?" He yelled out as he jumped up to evade Kirara's attack. She shot up and did a fast spin kick. It shot him abotu five feet aways. He jumped up and charged.

'There might be a spell, but it entails....No. I can't do it. He'd kill me.' Kirara thinks as she evades his recent attack. A small sctrach appears on her cheek and she feel the poison sting.

The Water Spirit was watching in amusement. Onyx saw her and snuck up on her and pulled on her hair.

"AIEEEE!" The spirit screamed.

"Release him!" Onyx ordered.

"Why?" Sesshoumaru asks again as he reaches out to slash at Kirara again.

"I'm not leaving you here after running this far to come get you." Kirara yelled back and stelled herself for what she knew she would have to do if he couldn't fight back to spell on his own.

Alexiel swallows as inuyashsa joins her.

"You are so stubborn!" Sesshoumaru yells out as he lunges again.

Kirara deftly jumps over him and spins around to try and get a hit in at his retreating back. "Think of this as that fight you wanted."

The Water Spirt threw Onyx but Onyx laid and attacked her.

Sesshoumaru spins around his eyes wide as he reached out once more. "You still remember something that stupid at a time like this?"

"You thought I was going to forget your hate for me? Wow, you really are dumb. Too bad that the facts remain that I was going to conceed to the fight." Kirara says and ducks.

The Water Spirit blinded Onyx with a mist and then kicked her in the stomach.

"Now! Destory that girl!" The water spirit comanded of Sesshourmaru.

Sesshoumaru moves to obey, but Kirara jumps on him pinning him to the ground. "Oh please don't hate me." She says and lowers her lips to his.

Sesshoumaru's mind goes blank and he feels the spell lifting seeing as he can't really think of anything at the moment.

Alexiel stares suprised at them,but crosses her fingers that it brought him back.

"Didn't you hear me? I said destory her!" The Water Spirit yelled.

Kirara removes her head and stands, closing her eyes and getting ready for the splitting pain that would tell her that she was dead.

Sesshoumaru satnds and turns to face the water spirit. "Not gonna happen." He says and grins evilly.

inuyasha and alexiel breath a sigh a relief glad to see the old sesshomaru back.

The Water Spirit backs away a little, looking afraid.

Kirara opens one eye slowly. She breath a sigh a relief and watchs as Sesshoumaru lunges at the water spirit, his claws glowing green.

"Now you get to die for what you did. Congradulations." He says sarcastically.

"She's dead?" Onyx asked, looking at the once alive spirit.

"it looks like it." Sesshoumaru says as his claws return to normal.

Kirara just stands there staring, not fully beliving the streak of luck that made it so that she wasn't to one laying on the floor in a few pieces.

"She's-------------dead." Onyx mouthed.

Kirara walks over to where Onyx is. "I promised that she would never hurt you ever again, and now she can't."

"I thought spirits couldn't die!" Onyx said.

"Spirits are basically demons deep down underneath it all. I doubt we will be hearing from her again." Sesshoumaru says as he watches from a distance.

Kirara smiles and nodds. "I think he might be right about something for once." She reaches up to wipe away the remaining traces of poison from her cheek.

Onyx looked at Sesshoumaru and then at Kiara.

"So he was the reason you wanted to find her isn't it?" Asked Onyx.

Kirara blushes. "well....um....I guess you could say that i wanted to find him....yes..."

Sesshoumaru's eyes widened. "You wanted to find me?"

Onyx smiled at Kiara.

"Thanks for blowing my cover." Kirara says. She nudges Onyx lightly in the ribs.

"No. I want to hear what she has to say. Kirara took off in such a hurry to find me?" He asks Onyx.

"Yes. She was about to kill me if I didn't tell." Onyx said, smiling evilly at Kiara.

"You're mean." Kirara hisses.

"I can hear you, you know." Sesshoumaru says and Kirara blushes even deeper and glares at him.

"It seems the two of you have feelings that are more than just hate." Onyx said.

"I never said that!" Kirara says quickly.

"Ah, but actions speak louder than words." Sesshoumaru says and takes a step forward.

Alexiel goes into a fit of giggles falling down.

Kirara jumps behind Alexiel to use her as a sheild. "Why does it feel like everyone is ganging up on me?"

"Does it?" Sesshoumaru asks calmly and takes another step.

Alexiel moves getting behind sesshomaru so that kirara couldnt hide behind her.

"You're mean." Kirara accuses as she hides behind a tree.

"Sesshoumaru smiles and whisperes in Alexiel's ear. "Go on and take the others with you. I think the cat and I need to have a little talk."

Alexiel smiles kissing his cheek,before grabbing both inuyasha and onyx running off.

"Hey! Wait! Don't leave me here alone!" Kirara says and finds herself pinned against the tree.

"Oh, but you're not alone. Now would you mind explaining to me exactly what you were thinking back there. Not only could the spirit have killed you, but, even worse, I could have killed you." Sesshoumaru says as he leans in closer.

Kirara blushes fiercely. "I wasn't thinking about that, ok?"

Alexiel grins sitting up in the branches of a nearby tree.She didnt mean to easedrop...she just was a hopeless gossip.And she wanted to know what sesshomaru had to say.

"Were you even thinking at all!?" Sesshoumaru asks.

"Yes.....I was thinking about how horrible it would be if you died, I guess." Kirara says and turns her head downward to look at the ground.

Alexiel tries to surpress a giggle and fails miserably.

Kirara's ears twitch and Sesshoumaru winks to show that he heard it as well. He leans closer and whispers in her ear. "Let's say we give her a little show, eh?"

Kirara opens her mouth to protest, but Sesshoumaru beat her there, covering her mouth with his own.

Alexiel falls out of the tree hitting the ground laughing hard."oW!!!"

Sesshoumaru pulls away leaving Kirara to slump to the ground in shock. "Serves you right for spying." He says and grins.

Alexiel sits up rubbing her head little kid like,making a face at him.

Sesshoumaru reaches his hand out to help her up.

"You guys are all wierd!" Kirara accuses as she gains the strength to stand again.

Onyx was holding InuYasha's hand.

"Do you think Kiara loves your brother?" She asked him.

Inuyasha nods."yea."

Alexiel takes sesshomaru's hand getting up,still scowling.

Onyx smiles and rubs her nose against InuYasha's.

"How cute." She says.

Kirara scowls and crosses her arms over her chest.

"Now, Alexiel. If you don't mind. This time try not to eavesdrop. I didn't do it to you." Sesshoumaru says.

Alexiel shrugs."ok.this tinme you got smart and forbid me from doing it...so..see ya tommorow morning!"alexiel says with a sly grin.

Inuyasha smiles kissing her.

Onyx kisses him back, running her hands through his hair.

"Um. Why do you keep sending her away?" Kirara asks nervously.

"Why do you think?" Sesshoumaru says slyly. "Now tell me again why you came barreling after me, if you hate me." He took a step towards her.

Inuyasha smiles still kissing onyx but picking her up following miroku and alexiel back towards the castle.

"Because I don't hate you, but that doesn't matter. You still hate me though." Kirara says and Sesshoumaru chuckles.

"Do you think I would be standing here fi I hated you?" Sesshoumaru said and closed in, plpacing another kiss on the stunned girl's lips.

Onyx smiled and rested her head on InuYasha's shoulder.

Inuyasha smiles."so what's happening?"He whispered afraid to turn around.

"So then what do you feel?" Kirara asks shly as he pulls away.

"Do I need to make it anymore obvious? I think I might be falling in love with you, but that's not going to stop me form disagreeing with you every chance I get." He said and Kirara reached up and pulled his smiling lips down onto her own.

Onyx looked up at him. "What are you talking about?"

"what's sesshomaru doing?He told me and alexiel not to easedrop not you."inuyasha grins stopping.

"So what about you, my firey little cat? How do you think you feel." Sesshoumaru asks with a grin as he forced himself to remove his head.

"I think I might have loved you from the moment I first saw you." Kirara says and Sesshoumaru's eys widened. He moves in fast and furious this time.

"I think he's just loving her-----------or trying to explain his love to her------and no, not that way!" Onyx said looking at him with look.

inuyasha laughs."okok enough said!no more watching!"

"We should stop. We still have to figure out..." Kirara begins and Seshsoumaru puts his finger on her lips to quiet her.

"I know. Let's just sit here for a while." He says and they both slide down to the ground with Kirara resting her head in Sesshoumaru's lap.

Onyx smiled at InuYasha and contiuned to walk with him until they reached Sesshoumaru's house.

"You know something? I think they knew before we did." Kirara says calmly.

"Oh, I know they did." Sesshoumaru answers and leans against the tree.

Alexiel and miroku grin holding hands walking ahead of inuyasha and onyx.

Meanwhile.

"DAMN THEM!" The master of the mountian wasn't too pleased with what had happened. He had slammed his hand onto the arm of his throne, causing the Earth to shake a little

"We should head back. They nmight get worried." Kirara says and Sesshoumaru stand throwing her over his shoulder. "I can walk!"

"No you can't." Sesshoumaru says and Kirara hisses. Sesshoumaru just smiles. 'That's right. You'll always be my little firecracker.'
