The Bloendend Maria Bar: Page 2
Akari walks in and glances around, moving to a corner.
Ranashi, after her 32 win, had sat at the counter drinking some bottled water and watched as most of the drunkies who were still conscious leave. Growing bored of the game, Ranashi sees a new face in the corner of the room. The figure looks nervous while glancing.
"Let's see..." mumbles Ranashi, taking out her M.R.S. book. Without effort, Ranashi opens to the exact page to where the person's bio was. Skimming over it, Ranashi reads the name out loud, "Akari." She then get's up, swaying slightly, and walks over to Akari. "G'day, chap! How's et *hick* goin'?" she asks.
Akari raises an eyebrow. "Very well thank you. And what about your day, Miss?"
Ranashi puts a finger on her chin, as though in deep thought, but didn't look it.
"Well, I drank, and then *hick* gambled, and then, drank *hick* again, and *hick* drank in a contest, and then sat at *hick* the counter! *hick*," she cheered to loudly. She then laughed at herself while she then tried to ask, "And you?"
Akari edges away slightly but unnoticably. "I've just come from the road, I was just out for a walk."
"Ey, I hope I'm able to get back to the Inn *hick* tonight. But before I *hick* go, why don't 'choo tell me 'bout yerself," Ranashi says while drinking more water while sitting down.
Akari seems to shrink a bit. "My sister's name is Rasuke. I am 18, she is 15. WE don't get along too well, but then again, I don't get along with many people at all.."
Ranashi laughs.
"I have a sister as well, but she's a human, and she's mah younger sister. And man, is she a pain in the *hich* ass!" Ranashi says, the water surprising starting to sober her.
Akari looks up. "Really now? What's her name?"
Ranashi continues to smile while saying, "Sayo Ozawa. Oh! I forgot to introduce mahself. Name's Ranashi Ozawa, a Death Widow or 'the Grim Reaper' at your service!"
"Heh," Akari smiles and holds out a hand. "You apparently already know my name but, I'm Akari, Panther Sshadow Cat."
Ranashi beams.
"Well 'o course I know who you are! Name, Akari; race, Panther Shadow Cat; is part of the Shinigami Clan. Powers and weapons, Blood/Shadow magic, two Sai's, Shurikens, and Dagger Claws," she says as if reading out of a book.
Akari Raises an eyebrow, still smiling. "Very well done. But may I ask, how do you know all this?"
Ranashi grins.
"I Basically know everything about every living creature that is alive or dead. I already told you before, right?, That I'm the Grim Reaper. Great to know that I get to know about everything in life, but really annoying to fly all over the place," she said, making a face like: @.@
Akari laughs. It's not a light laugh and it's not a harsh laugh, it's somewhere between a growl and a purr.
"I'm sorry, I should not laugh at your suffering."
"'Tis fine...people do it all the time to me anyhow..." she dismissed. Ranashi then drank the small cup of water in front of her, trying to keep herself sober even though she was way past drunk. She then turned her head to Akari to say something else, but she then moaned in pain and she clutched her head and slammed it on the table.
One of the other patrons of the bar, a tall woman, glanced over her shoulder at the loud noise. She had gone most of the time without reacting to most of it, but that actually sounded painful. Sliding out of her seat, Anna Wright moved towards the two, her dreadlocked hair swinging a little as she tilted her head to look down at the woman. "I'd say those drinks effected her more then she lead everyone to think."
A small chuckle admitted from Ranashi underneath the curtain of hair around her head. "I guess so..." she laughed before whincing in pain from her own voice echoing inside her head. Ranashi then tried to lift her head up from the table, but needed the assistance of her left hand. Her eye-sight was still blurry, but she could tell where Anna was. "May I...help you?" she asked, wincing again.
Offering a chair for her, she smiled and shook her long haired head. "Not really, I was just seeing if I could be of any assistance to you." The 6' 3" woman grinned and waited for her to accept or decline the chair.
"I think I'll stay where I'm at..." Ranashi mumbled her reply to the silent question, "and I think an asprin or something would help. Man, even as a demon, I still went overboard with the drinking. Sakura's gunna be so mad at me..."
Nodding Anna simply took the chair and sat down waving to Akari. "Hope you don't mind me sitting for a bit." stretching, she reclined some in the chair and looked at the two smiling happily to herself.
"Glad to see yer happy..." grumbled Ranashi, moaning from the pain of her heartbeat pounding in her head. "It's like an early hangover...So, what is a yer name?"
"I'm Anna Wright.." She mumbled softly as to not cause any more pain to the woman near her. Extending her hand, she smiled kindly at the slightly shorter woman. "What is your name?"
Ranashi glared up at Anna for a moment (she hated people being taller than she was XD) but then gingerly took Anna's hand and shook it. She then leaned back into her chair and took out her small booklet again. "Ah yes...Anna, a Nusouuso. Your work is really helping out the M.R.S., and the creature inside of you seems to be doing fine. And you still have a good 40 years until I need to see you again," she stated, closing the booklet and looking back up at Anna.
Smirking, she raised a thumb. "May wanna check your math on that, this thing keeps me alive for at least 30 years more then average." Leaning back some, she looked at the ceiling. "Yes, I have helped out quite a bit with you all." Yawning, she looked about some and flagged down a waitress orerding some wine then grinned. "Also, this little guy here," A long black tendril slid out from her hand moving about. "has as well. I probably wouldn't be here without it."
Ranashi smiled. She was started to warm up to Anna. "So...why is it so special to you?" she asked.
Taking the glass she was handed, she sipped it and grinned. "Well, it's helped me in many a bad situation." Leaning against the table, she stared off into space smirking. "I remember I always use to be really sickly, but when I received... this," Her eyes flicked to the tendril holding the glass now. "I became healthy, beyond healthy, I was stronger then many fighters I came across." Grinning, she laughed and looked towards the woman. "It's also helped me persude people." Anna took a sip of the wine and looked at it smirking. "In more ways then one mind you." Looking at the woman, she winked with a chuckle.
(Last Post for tonight!)
A wicked laugh escaped Ranashi's lips, memories from the past resurfacing. "Yeah..." she breathed in agreement, "I have someone like that, 'sept their people, and there's more than one of 'em. So, what brings you out here?" Ranashi winced again, her migrane not fully gone.
"Really, I'm not too sure..." She mumbled, seeming rather distant. The tendril slid back into her arm and she leaned on her hands looking down into her half finished wine. "I do know one thing though." Anna's grin came back and she downed the rest of the wine. "This is good stuff!"
Ranashi laughed, and took another sip of her water-bottle. "No kidding," she agreed, "that's the main reason why I come here!" Ranashi continued to laugh until she noticed a small group of men looking over at she and Anna strangly while talking amongst each other.
Looking over uninterestedly
, Anna smirked and set the glass down. "Don't people know it's impolite to stare at people and talk behind their backs?" She laughed softly and ordered another glass of wine from a waitress passing by.
Two men at the table seemed to have set a small pile of money on the table, and one on them soon after walked over to the table where Anna and Ranashi were sitting. "Good evening ladies! I have a few questions that I'd like to ask ya: Is your muffin buttered?" he asked, receving a confused look from Ranashi, "Would you like your muffin buttered? (-more strange looks from Ranashi-) Or would you like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?" ((Guess where et's from XD)) Ranashi mouthed a "What?!" at Anna, obviously having no idea what he was talking about.
Shaking her head with and laugh, the tall woman stood up turning to look down slightly at the man. "If you say one more of those passes I swear to Nusouus that I will choke the life out of you." Anna's voice came in a deep growl, her hand turning into a tighening fist.
The man shrugged, not feeling threatened by Anna. "Alright, I'll say this then: The boys and I heard that their's a party goin' on at our apartment, and judging by you two, I'd say you'd love to come..." he stated, the last 3 words of the sentence rolling of his tongue like wine, and his eyes taking a glance at Ranashi.
Glancing back to Ranashi, she grinned in an almost evil way. "Hey, would you like to see what me and my buddy can do?"
Ranashi shrugged, sitting up and grabbing her scythe. "Well, you can take care of him and one more of his buddies, but leave the other two at the table that have been staring at my chest for me," she replied. She then turned to the other two men, plastering her meanicingly wicked grin as they looked up at her in fear.
With a wicked laugh she grabbed the mouth of the man before her, tendrils spewing forth from her hand ravaging the innerds of the man, spinning them around like a blender. Muffled cries escaped his throat a few times then silenced as he went limp, twitching here and there. Moving her hand away, near 30 small tendrils were pulled out along with the fine liquid that use to probably be his liver. His partner stared in horror as the tentacles flixed the liquid off then slid into her hand, her eyes now on ther other man which she began to move towards.
Ranashi laughed. Oh yeah, she most definitely liked this character. Seeing as it was her turn now, Ranashi ran over to the table and vanished. The two terrified men looked around, but Ranashi was nowhere to be seen. One of the men suddenly stopped as he felt a sharp pain in his stomach; Ranashi had fazed through the wall and had stabbed her scythe through the man. Smiling to herself, she quickly slashed her scythe up, feeling gallons of warm liquid ooze all over her as the man was now sliced in half from his waist up. Fazing the rest of her body through the wall, the now blood-drenched Ranashi turned a wicked smile and two wide eyes at Anna, giggling uncontrolably and nodding, stating it was her turn now.
Nodding, she glanced to the now terrified man who turned to run only to have a tendril rap around his neck pulling him back. With her arms at her sides, she strode over, the tendrils from her hands keeping him in place. With an almost practiced skill, she flipped him over, the tendrils digging into his back, a pain filled scream releasing into the room. Laughing madly, she tugged up, the outlines of bones appearing, pressing against the flesh until it slowly began to break skin and rip completely out, the man's now boneless body seeming to pool on the floor. Anna grinned and tossed the gory bones to the side and licked the blood off the tip of a tendril glancing to her.
Ranashi gave a thumbs-up to signal "nicely done!". She then turned to the last man and said, "You know, I could leave you, to tell the tale of what happens when you try to trick two girls into having sex...Anna, should I kill him?" The grip Ranashi had on her scythe seemed to tighten and loosen, as if she was trying to hold back until she got her answer.
Letting the tendrils slide back into her arms, she grinned walking over, a few flowing out from under her long skirt, a few passing along the mans face, claw like marks being left. "Well... Hmm..." With a grin she crossed her arms tilting her head. "Maybe we should let him run in fear, let him tell his friends... if he has any left after this bit of fun about the "chicks" he tried to pick up who nearly tore him in half." Putting an arm on the woman's shoulder, Anna chuckled lightly giving a wink to the man, the tendrils from under her dress changing, small mouths with needle like teeth on the end of them now on the ends. "Unless he would actually like to "expierence" me."
Without answering, the man quickly scrambled to his feet and sped out the door. Ranashi laughed while clutching her side. "I've never had so much fun scaring people!" she exclaimed, eyeing the now tramatized bystanders. She then tossed a couple coins to the terrified bartender and said, "Come on, let's blow this joint. I know a place where we can really have some fun."
Grinning, the woman followed slightly behind her to the side. "I'm always up for some good fun!" A tendril eyed a man who seemed to be staring at the woman's backsides and snapped near an inch away from his face.
