Have you ever wondered why children fear the dark? Have you ever sat alone in your home and felt the eerie sensation that your being watched? Do you have to sleep with your bedroom door closed because for some strange reason it makes you feel safe?

Do you know why? Do you really want to know why?

That unsettling sensation you feel when your all alone and there is no explanation for the overwhelming fear that rises in your belly... It’s us.

For generations we’ve been there. Silently watching from the sidelines, staving off the darkness before it overcomes you. Protecting you from all that waits to rip you limb from limb for simply being that which they hate more than anything among the veils. Human.

Be grateful that it’s only us you feel. Be thankful for every breath you take in the silence of your home. Be glad that it’s us and not them.

Angels respect us while Demons quake in our presence. We are The Covenant.
